Dua Lipa has a role in and has recorded several brand new songs for the upcoming “BARBIE” soundtrack album (including its theme). The movie hits theatre's on July 21st.

This is the official half way bridging point that leads us out of her second album era (> before the reveal of her third official studio set).

So, before getting too hung up on what’s to come in her forthcoming third album era - don’t forget to remember that not every track recorded for the “BARBIE” soundtrack will have made the final cut (and could very well be worth tracking down), especially when written for an Ultra-Pop movie like “BARBIE”.

Please feel free to update the thread as and when Dua related news (including new leaks) break.

Were you planning on watching “BARBIE”? If you were not before, has the reveal of Dua being in the cast changed your mind?

Will she release a new album this year? The pandemic really messed with my perception of time, because I can't wrap my head around Future Nostalgia being 3 years old already.

It looks like Barbie hair, which I am sure was the point.

I always loved that song and never understood the hate. I'm glad it's getting some kind of recognition after all those years from a major motion picture.
