Turn Ya Head Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 A friend and I made this mix a while ago but it got taken down everywhere He basically suggested replacing the drums in Taylor's original song with the drums from Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. I did all the mixing and mastering! You can download it here. Please let me know what you guys think! Quote
Cypher Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 It's definitely a new take on the song, a minor change, but the feel of the song changes. I've never loved this song, so to me, another version of the track gets muddled since I don't know the original that well, but I can tell there are differences! 1 Quote
Main Pop Girl Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 The sped up vocals sound a little off to me, but I really like the idea of this and the drums really sound flawless in this track! 1 Quote
Turn Ya Head Posted February 28, 2019 Author Posted February 28, 2019 @Cypher @Skinny Legend thanks so much for the feedback! I actually had no choice but to speed up the vocals, because the BPM for Bleeding Love is slightly faster than Blank Space. If I left the vocals untouched, it would sound off-sync. However, maybe it would be a good idea to slow down the instrumental and keep the vocals the same as the original! I'll do that tonight and post the results Quote
