Main Pop Girl Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Hi #PHFamily! I just wanted to let you know that we're making some changes to the uploads you can make here on PHF. Up until now, there's been no limit on the file size of things you can upload and post - you can add one song, a whole album, or a whole megapost and host it on PHF. Unfortunately, our disk space has been filling up at a rapid rate over the past year, and I've had to keep paying extra to get more disk space, even though we're not making any more money from the site. Because of this, I've had to limit uploads to just 1000 kbs per post. It's annoying, but from now on I'd prefer if you guys only uploaded smaller images to our servers so that they don't fill up so quick. Of course, you can still upload songs, albums and videos on websites like Mega or SFShare, we just can't have them all on our servers. It would also really help if you guys looked over all your Attachments and deleted anything which hasn't been used in a while. This way we might be able to avoid upgrading to a bigger hosting plan and paying more every month. And of course, if you want to donate to PHF you can always do that here! Unfortunately I don't think there's any way to donate without credit or debit card, unless you wanna do a direct bank transfer through Paypal. I hope the question makes sense? It really does not matter. I was just curious. I will delete the attachments either way starting tomorrow in order to clear up space here. I am still willing to donate to the cause if you can figure out a way to do it without having to use any personal information such as a credit or debit card. It definitely won't delete the post or the topic! The only thing that will happen is that the link to the attachment in the topic will come up as dead, but it will still be there if anyone wants to request it be uploaded somewhere else.
