I really feel for Bonnie. She probably teased under the assumption she had the legal rights to release but has since hit some snags and the very fans she's trying to feed are now eating her alive. It's not in her interest to lie or misdirect. I think this album is in response to fan demands, what other reason would she have to withhold it? She's also probably dealing with a thing that a lot of creative people struggle with, crippling perfectionism and self-doubt. It is not easy to do what she does, at the level that she has, for so long as an independent artist. I will continue to always cut her slack even when she edges us.

I love the new SLAY btw. The lyrical changes make it more idiosyncratic and specific to her voice.
