When I started listening I figured it was probably a Jennifer Lopez pitch, just from the sound of it and Sandy Vee did at least 2 tracks with Claude Kelly for Love?... BUT all the ad-libbing towards the end, especially those "uh-oh-whoa-oh-oh"s right at the very end sound mighty Britney...which is kinda strange, cause Bonnie never really seems to do very Britney-esque ad-libbing etc on her demos for her. But she seems to be really going for it here. Either way, one of the best of all the leaks in my book, thanks a lot for this! Really hope the other Sandy Vee tracks leak as well... So...not a new leak or anything, but back in 2011 the same instrumental was also used on a track by Range, who was on StarGate/Roc Nation's Star Roc label at the time but according to himself, kinda fucked up his deal before really releasing anything aside from a mixtape. I believe Range said he wrote this, but I think LaShawn Daniels probably co-wrote it. He also said it was produced by David Guetta though, which I always assumed was a fuck up, but I did also kind of assume this was StarGate/Sandy Vee, not Sandy Vee solo. "next couple of weeks" essentially translates to next couple of months in Bonnielese. She'll release the video in mid September if I'm optimistic, but seeing how Sky Ferreira's been editing her Don't Forget video for ages now (and it's most likely scrapped) I'm not holding out much hope. Props to her for doing things HERSELF this time around tho, whether it's editing or mixing.... But no, instead, she thanked the fans for liking demos in shitty quality so much and said the polished versions are even better, then actually delivered on her promise like a mere month later. I know Gaga was an artist in her peak during that time and was signed to a major label that showered her with budget and support which is completely different from Bonnie's situation, but hey, even if Bonnie was under Interscope her songs (no matter how incredible) simply wouldn't do the numbers she thinks she deserves.
