Omg you're so lucky to be able to reach out to her like this.

I'm relieved to see she's ok with us listening to the songs and it's great you can share the positive feedback she's been getting. ❤️

For real Bonnie, if you're reading this, even if the album doesn't do whatever you're hoping it'll do for you commercially/career-wise, you've already accomplished something big with these songs regardless. This is some of the best pop music I've heard in the last 10 years and I really really hope you can establish yourself in your own unique lane. Just please no more songs like Thorns. That one should've stayed in the vault.

some tea i collected from our convo:

Right Now will not be on the album, nor does she have intentions to rework it.

Forever 21 MIGHT be on the record, but if it does, like IWFCY, it´ll be reworked.

she is lurking on this forum, however has no account.

she found out about S.L.A.Y leaking after being told from a friend, and was upset at first, but after seeing the response we´ve showed her on the forum, she feels proud of her work and doesn´t mind the leaks.

she wants to drop the album (and will), but her new issue is the leaks ruining the entire experience, which is causing her to debate whether she wants it released or not.

she loves and appreciates all of you and is thankful for the love you all have shown her.

she´s not a fan of the whole selling and buying approach in regards to her songs, as she feels it´s pointless considering most of what leaked (except very old songs and songs she´s given up like HMU and WUD), will come out on streaming eventually. so seeing people pay for it, upsets her.

I'm ok with that. To be completely honest, Forever 21 didn't sound all that polished during certain parts as far as production goes and it does sound very 2010s so as long as the original spirit of the song is maintained it can definitely benefit from some small touch ups. IWFCY is already perfect as it is tho, so I'm a bit concerned there.

Well, I'm happy to hear we've helped her boost her confidence.... though she needs to realize the leaks are the direct result of the thirst, famine, and all the unfulfilled promises. Had she dropped the record few years back, none of this would've happened. It's not like she doesn't have any new songs on the album either, so I'm sure there's songs we haven't heard before.

Will it really though? It HAS BEEN 7 years since 2015. Good to know that, at least in her mind, she does want the world to hear these songs.

I honestly dont think I have heard the original but after a few listens I got stiff for the Le Youth remix

okay, so just talked to her, and she´s inactive right now, so... final tea (for now):

S.L.A.Y will be reworked and will have a music video/visual.

She hopes the record does well, even after all these years.

She has an idea for a Everything But You visual (excited for this!!)

Had she not´ve given it away, Hit Me Up would´ve had a shot of being on the EP she was planning to release (later turned into Bombastic). 

Don´t Get Mad, Get Famous was supposed to be the closing track and she even alluded to it being the album title. still not sure, but a LOT was supposed to be done with the song. (we won!!)

Love Spell would´ve never been on the final product of the album, since she felt it was too different at the time compared to the other songs, but she still wanted to release it. she seems to still stand by this.

Somebody´s Gonna Get Hurt was NEVER supposed to be the title. i asked her about the guy´s site regarding the song, and she said he was involved with only the song, nothing else.

Rewind Your Heart was supposed to be a single.

Didn't she also post SLAY snippet in her Q&A Insta Story back in early 2021?  I won't believe her words anymore unless she'll actually do something.... soon we'll be in June and prolly still without any (official) Bonnie music
