Dangerous Edits Posted May 31 Posted May 31 can’t believe after all these years it’s finally here. and it’s glorious from start to finish! 2 Quote
izzzyyy Posted May 31 Posted May 31 On the bright side, literally everything is incredible and I'm so happy I could cry because I finally heard all of them. However, I Wanna Call You sounds like a karaoke instrumental, and it's botched to high hell. It's not demo-itis either, it's completely different. Â 2 Quote

thetaco Posted May 31 Posted May 31 I can’t stop replaying Jenny’s Got a Boyfriend and title track. Maybe I’m basic but these are perfect up tempo pure bops. I need to get acquainted over time with the other tracks 1 Quote

If Right Now ever leaks, it'll go after Waking Up Diagonal. And Outlaw and Mirage just BELONG together on the same record, they are like spiritually related to me. The yin and yang of pop songs with a Western pastiche. I hope if she ever rerecords them that they come as a package. This is cute af Once i get my hot city files im gonna reorganise into this and sessions Edited May 31 by Crystal <3 1 Quote
Crystal <3 Posted May 31 Posted May 31 (edited) Ok now hear me out: I know hot city has only just dropped but I feel as if this album will one day be looked up to as one of the biggest pop music phenomenons. Ik it sounds like a reach but name another artist other than Bonnie who fought her arse off to release an album scrapped ages ago. I don't know many. But Bonnie needs a medal of honour for this bc she battled to release her art. That's insane dedication and it proves how meaningful the music is to her. It took her 20 years to release a sophmore record. She didn't give up. That's something to admire. Anyways stream Hot City! Big day for gays. Edited May 31 by Crystal <3 2 Quote
Popular Post napoleon Posted May 31 Popular Post Posted May 31 The way we all knew about Show You Mine (formerly known as Show Me Your Love) but we all just kinda wrote it off and there was never demand for it to leak or be released by Bonnie officially, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the album I'm glad there was this nice surprise at least, because the rest of the bops we all had listened to in full before. I envy the gays who will experience Everything But You, Forever 21, Rewind Your Heart and Electric Heaven for the first time on Spotify today. If released with major label investment behind it, and at the right time, this could have been one of those pop albums that put out several big hit singles, like Teenage Dream, Future Nostalgia, Love Angel Music Baby, The Dutchess, Rhythm Nation, Forever Your Girl, etc. We were robbed of an iconic era. I can imagine how Bonnie felt when the project was shelved. 7 Quote

Popular Post Cornelia Posted May 31 Popular Post Posted May 31 I spent most of today just listening to the Album on loud speakers, in the car, through headphones and wow.. This really is a Pop Bible. I can't believe we have a full Bonnie Project on our hands now. I really hope those who don't know of Bonnie yet and love Pop Music will wake up and give this masterpiece a chance. What a beautiful blend of Pop Music with its various sub-genres and always a catchy hook. Amazing. 7 Quote
