The hard part to understand is teasing and teasing and teasing and teasing this material that is blocked for release. That's the hard part to understand.

She went independent, didn't she? While she's clearing whatever legal actions (which I don't doubt is going on, those things can take literal years) she should either shut up about releasing instead of endlessly teasing, or be clear: "guys, it's not coming soon BECAUSE it's not in my hands anymore. I've started some legal processes to get the songs back and they're going to take long. When it's all ready, I'll start the era!".

Now THAT would be comprehensible + I'd be here for a honest update rather than promises with unknown date of fruition.

Wasn't her whole thing that she was redoing the songs? That means the so called "masters" that she's going through legal hell aren't applicable. If I've been keeping up to date correctly, I thought we had re-recordings, new mixes, etc. This would mean that they are not the old masters. More over, I thought she said she owned the publishing rights?? Hello?!

Girly is really just baiting all 2 of her fans at this point. I feel like most of us are just here for the drama now.

Did you guys listen to the new podcast she was on? She talked about people on forums trading, leaking, and buying her songs. She didn’t sound that bothered because she’s “feeling the love”. As far as the album, she basically said the same thing she said a couple months ago about it coming out and she has another one ready.

The irony being, if the album drops, she'll "feel the love" for another 3 days and then go back to irrelevancy.

Maybe she owns the masters but just need to figure out credits or future financial compensation for people who worked on the song? I don't think she would shoot a music video, hire an expert to work on post-production and promise a mid-August release if she hadn't secured the rights to release it. I'm confident we'll get it this month.

Why do I feel like Bonnie sold all these songs herself, which is why she's isn't mad that they all ended up leaking? Honestly it would be a smart way to make money off old songs you don't necessarily have the rights to 👀

I mean on one hand i appreciate she is trying or whatever. But she has had 8 years to figure this out. why did she wait till the "summer" she was releasing to figure out whatever she is figuring out. she looks gorgeous in that new interview

interview was really interesting. it seems like she doesn't quite understand how devoted her fanbase is—which I totally get, but it makes me sad. I want her to know how much her fans adore her. we're all (justifiably) frustrated and upset with the teasing and empty promises—but we love her and we're all dying to hear her music. and for me, that's never going to change, no matter how frustrated I get lol
