Lol k. Then she should have just released Forever 21 as a standalone single the way she released Sleepwalker back in 2018. She's had the rights to many of the Epic tracks for a while.

And why didn't she release "Modern Girl" when there was some hype around it from that Netflix show?

There's always an excuse. 

Tons of independent artists are incredibly successful in the streaming age... because they actually release music consistently. Bonnie is still caught up in the idea that every release needs to have a 2012 major-label type rollout (weeks of teasing, music video, appearances, etc.) and that just isn't viable at this point.

I'm still holding out hope that us long-time devoted fans will finally get the album we've been waiting for. It's just annoying that certain gatekeepers hoard (and re-sell) these songs that don't belong to them, rather than share them with the few other fans left on here.
