It just sounds stupid because in a session you do multiple takes while recording, I know Bonnie confirmed the reason herself but it still doesn't make sense, lol. It has to be with the deadline yeah

Imagine this being the opening track to Femme Fatale - the album, the world wasn't ready.

So happy Britney's abusive flop team got fired because  W H O  in their right mind would reject this banger? This could've been Britney's Only Girl, HOW DARE THEY!? And because of a "mispronunciation"?? It's not like there are rules to how to pronounce foreign words in English, people butcher them every day--and most people I know don't pronounce femme fatale right.. If anything 'fem FAY-tal' could have become iconic (and it works so well and is catchy as hell).
