Main Pop Girl Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Quote When she bared all for filmmaker Gaspar Noe on her already iconic debut album cover in 2013, Sky Ferreira proved that she’s not one to shy from a spot of nudity. It would make sense, then, that the singer would link-up with Playboy at some point, and now she’s done just that; adorning the cover for the men’s magazine’s October “Renegade” issue. Announcing the news on Instagram, Ferreira spoke of how she produced and directed the content from the shoot, and described her appearance as the first visual introduction to her forthcoming sophomore album, Masochism. Quote Hi. I am on the cover of Playboy (October 2016). I am the first bunny ever to be a creative collaborator & creative/art direct. I produced & directed all of the content. It is the first introduction to #Masochism (visually). My best friend @sandycandykim shot the photos & Bruce Dern did the interview. I will get much more into detail about the project & all of the people involved tomorrow when I unveil the covers! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Turning a spotlight on creatives who are unafraid to break the rules, the October edition also features skateboarder and Supreme OG Jason Dill; ballerina turned porn star Stoya; transgender punk rock icon, Laura Jane Grace; Fresh Off the Boat writer Ali Wong; writer Paul Beatty; Hijabi Muslim activist and journalist Noor Tagouri; and Hello Games founder Sean Murray. Also included is an in-depth feature with comedian Kevin Hart, and an interview with rapper-of-the-moment Vince Staples. Playboy’s “The Renegades Issue” will be available to purchase on newsstands next Thursday, September 27. Ngl, I'm kind of living for this heroin chic Playboy Bunny aesthetic. This has such a cool list of collaborators and the fact they let her direct the issue is so awesome! If this is what Masochism looks like if/when it finally comes out, I'll be super happy. Quote
Marina Joyce Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 She looks like a godess, also the other pics slay, and that short video in the article gave me chills, it's so amazing, I hope we get a single in the upcoming weeks 3 Quote
