Tweener
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have reportedly settled their divorce case. The actress has also dismissed her domestic violence restraining order petition due to the case being settled. The pair withdrew legal documents on Tuesday (August 16) for the domestic violence case, which was tied into the divorce case. It is said that Johnny is paying Amber $7 million plus her legal fees. “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love. Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity,” a joint statement read.
Main Pop Girl
That TMZ leak must have really freaked his legal team out. They must have known that the lawsuit was going to do more harm in the long run to his career and finances than if he just paid up quietly. How do y'all feel about this tho? Do you think it's time to forgive Johnny for what he might have done or do you still have ill will towards him?
NamiraWilhelm
I don't have ill will. I'm very much 'innocent until proven guilty'. He was unstable in the video but she wasn't harmed. Emotional abuse/arguing is tough to deal with too, but she's likely guilty in that as much as him. Trying to prove assault is very difficult and it's difficult to come forward and be open about it, but that also gets abused a great deal. So yeah, he's still a beloved actor until more definitive prove of this supposed cruel side comes out.
