sadboy Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Ella Henderson - "Honest" (2017) -album was completed before tour with James Arthur where they performed their song together called "Let's Go Home Together". The first single "Ugly" written by herself with Sasha Sloan, produced by Mac & Phil was planned to be released late 2017, early 2018 but then SYCO "lost faith" in the album and dropped her. Songs included: - Ugly - Cry Like A Woman - Solid Gold - Bones - Take Care of You - Single Again - Honest Now moving on to 2019, having signed a record deal with Rudimental's record label "Major Toms" under Atlantic Records, the album will be released this year, having had to scrap the original 2nd album. Songs Included: - Don't Try to Love Me (with Anne Marie) - Hard to Love - Love You Better - Half In Love - Brave - Happy - Young - Like Me - Home 1 Quote

All she needed was one dance hit (someone call Clean Bandit!) and the album could have done well. It's a shame SyCo didn't have the foresight to see that. Quote

Act I radio friendlyish with tracks like I Wanna Be With You, Venus, Brooklyn Nights, Gypsy, G.U.Y., Ratchet, Sex Dreams, Fashion!, Princess Die, and Sire. Act II more experimental and emotional tracks Swine, TEA, Onion Girl, Temple, Tinnitus, PARTYNAUSEOUS, Mary Jane Holland and Aura. Both albums were suppose to have videos for each song with art direction by chosen fans, and unreleased songs were going to be uploaded with all their stems to the ARTPOP app so fans could remix the songs as they saw fit. That album was very planned and thought out. High key sad that it never happened like it should've. 1 Quote

Ice Prince Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Don't remember if it was already mentioned, but let's have a minute of silence for XCX World, aka one of the best complete unreleased albums I've ever listened to. It is simply awesome, so full of bops... 1 1 Quote
