Main Pop Girl Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Lana Del Rey has hinted towards her potential involvement in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming adaptation simply by Tweeting out “Gatsby” recently. A similiar post appeared on Lana’s Facebook page but has since been removed. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Lana’s name connected to the film. Last year, Lana spoke to NME about her upcoming projects, saying, “I’ve been helping compose scores for movies. So, like, there’s a movie coming out in the summer that’s set in the 1920s and it’s been fun for me to write love songs for a woman who is the star.†If Lana is indeed writing songs for the film, she will be in good company. Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton and Tobey Maguire are all starring in the film, and the soundtrack is reportedly being worked on by Jay-Z. Would you be excited to hear Lana’s song in the final film? [/html] Quote

I really wanna hear her song! It ended up being the Paradise leftover, "Young & Beautiful". And then, of course, the 48 variants of the song that were used throughout the film. 2 Quote
