Right? I was literally crying as soon as that opening screen started sliding. I mean, in a lot of ways it was basically an updated remake of the first movie, but either way I loved it so much. And it's portrayal of female characters is infinitely superior to Mad Max's.

Omg I did! The second Star Wars came up I was crying. And then the uh... big then happened... and everyone in the theater lost it. Rey is such a great character. Do you think Rey could be Luke's daughter? Because I definitely felt they were hinting at that the entire movie.  

RIGHT? I literally started shaking and crying, it was a total mess. Although honestly I didn't cry when...that thing...happened. It was super unexpected and I see why they did it but it didn't affect me for some reason. I would have been sadder if Chewy had died. But yeah, my grandma is basically obsessed with that theory. But I feel like if that was the case they would have recognised each other and said something at the end? Idk.
