this two song deal for reflection had actually gone through, I just remembered google play had two bonus tracks for reflection but it seems they must've been switched last minute. the two bonus tracks were 'dame esta noche' and 'I'm in love with a monster'. I guess LA Reid didn't wanna pay the publishing money lol

It’s actually insane to think about how little control they had during their time at fifth harmony. According to Lauren on Zach sang they actually got to choose a ‘few’ songs for 7/27 insinuating they didn’t have a choice at all before. They probably dreamed of releasing songs like no way and no filter. Their most free era as a 5 piece is definately better together, it seems they got nice producers and got to co-write most the project. It’s sad cause a lot of people deem 5h3 their most free era when really it’s just cause their label stopped giving a shit about them anymore. 7/27 was awful for them too, they were literally in studio with Dr luke a year after he got sued for rape and abuse. They were in studio with max Martin too though, now I wish those were released

This song would’ve been a disaster for them.. even if it wasn’t sexual god their entire fan base would’ve left and dragged them through the mud.. out of all the songs why this one it’s definately very predatory they were so persistent on this one considering their ages as well

Yeah it’s very disturbing and borderline predatory.. camila was 17 singing about rough sex when they recorded worth it and Dinah was 16. They got dinah to legit show her tits and rub herself at 17 in the video which actually got it taken down for 12 hours. It was camilas 18th birthday shooting day too. They didn’t even wait for them to turn 18 to aggressively sexualise them, they just did it to them at teens. I just heard the walk of shame song and dear god is it disturbing to imagine again dinah at 16 and camila at 17 recording this song. I’m honestly surprised none of the girls but ally spoke up about this specifically considering she was the only not ‘barely legal’ one during this whole process. If I was Bonnie I would focus on mastering a song at a time and release a single every month from like summer 2022 to summer 2023. Give 3 of them music videos, it keeps her fans engaged and it makes the era feel like an actual era and gives her enough time to prep instead of just waiting to have everything ready at once. Plus it’s such a good strategy for a indie artist and gives each song time to grow and gain a individual audience. It would help her pay costs and royalties and release further music. And her fans could actually feel like somethings coming and being showered persistently. Then once those 12 songs are out, she includes 6 on the album with 6 new songs and then 6 more songs on the deluxe. She could then do a bunch of re issues or further droplets with the rest of the epic songs that didn’t make it. She wrote what a hundred songs for the album, and she’s an amazing songwriter that never misses. Releasing an era of just 12 songs would be a crime especially after 10 years. I’d love a proper engaging era that’s planned to last a year or two with new shit every month music videos visuals. Her waiting for like a 3 month period to release EVERYTHING is probably only a detriment especially cost wise, spread t out and each individual song would get you more revenue than a full album at once especially as a indie artist with the rights

What we really need from Bonnie is clarity, the vague statements it’s coming I promise this I promise that don’t help and her fans make 10 different theories for 1 issue. She just has to explain why it’s taken so long so far and what she has to do from now to release the material. If we actually knew what it takes for someone in her position to actually roll out an era her last 10 fans would be way more sympathetic and understanding. My best guess is it’s really costly (under a label let alone indie) to make music videos designers photo shoots not only clear release rights and royalty advancements but remaster aside from the buying back everything from her label. Bombastic EP should’ve been hint enough for us to understand how truly extra and all out Bonnie goes with all her projects, probably further than any artist with label support and financing, aside from the particularly big names she has to clear for this project. I really dont think any of these are final versions or masters, just demo versions. And yeah it would cost a lot she would have to clear all the writers and producers. Some easier than others, oligee and josh Abraham wouldn’t be a issue for her (I assume atleast) but max Martin asks 50k-100k in royalties for the release of one of his songs apparently and that’s aside from aside from anything she had to put get back from epic in the first place. it’s why it isn’t as simple as just dropping songs, especially for a indie artist. This wouldn’t make sense, she said in a live video she was trying to get her masters back from epic around 2015-2016 or something. If this was last year she mentioned she actually had the rights to the masters back for the first time it would make sense with the 2020 date I was given. all in all I said if Bonnie said get over it we should, she’s literally promised us she still wants to release everything multiple times even after it basically all leaked. It shows dedication and persistence and that there are probably more factors than she’s just lazy and can’t be bothered

I think the issue is way more complicated, buying back the masters form her label took until 2020 (unluckily coinciding with the pandemic), and that’s aside from the release and production costs. Max Martin really isn’t cheap, even for one song by a millionaire. What 100k per song? Payable by a label, way different through just one person. Although I doubt oligee and josh Abraham are that expensive, none of it is really change for a indie artist. Plus she loves to go all out high budget crafty music videos. Probably wants loads of visuals fully fleshed out CD. I totally sympathize with Bonnie aside from if you can’t guarantee or you don’t have the base rights to release then don’t promise anything
