she probably had many mixes of the songs along the years (aka sleepwalker 2013 vs 2018)

it might've been, somebody had a mid 2020 draft of the album and somebody else in the server sent over a list of songs and they sorted them as so. must've forgotten to include hot city in the list they sent over

I feel she might release right now. I assume epic only had ownership of the masters while she still owns the songs in a lyrical sense (like Taylor Swift red from the vault tracks) hence why she said she might have to re record it all. she could get a not rapist or even just Cirkut alone to reproduce the same song

I'm not sure if I said this here (I def said it somewhere), but this would be the best rollout for her imo (see Kim Petras & Foxes) Every month she drops a new single for 12 months. or she promotes each and gets together some sort of visual to accompany it. then she puts 6 on the album with 6 new songs. Alternatively, she does something like a single a month for 9 months then releases 12 some strengths of this approach - it stops the waiting. perfecting 1 at a time is so much quicker than perfecting 12 at a time especially since she can focus on visuals and promotion for each for a whole 4 weeks we know how perfectionist she is with these things. gives her more time to mix and master each too. - it lets her steadily rebuild a fanbase. people will bet on her and have faith if shes releasing every month rather than waiting to drop everything together and promising us its coming. plus it helps carve out an overall artistic identity to wider audiences ,especially in context with so many other artists releasing every week - it makes us feel were actually living in the era. its good if she drops it all at once but we will eat it up in 4 days. - it lets the songs themselves receive traction and give each individual song its own month to market, promote and get people invested in. it helps her keep up with the streaming age - albums are kind of out market & mainstream wise. people focus on individual songs now especially the GP since you pay 5 for 80 million not 10 for 10. - gives us more overall songs - more room for deluxe and bonus tracks + lets her know what people like and dont like for the heart of the album

I think she meant she was going to use tik tok as a way to market and sell her music. honestly I see potential in a age where everyone is trying to be edgy and alt bonnie is truly one of the only artists who can nail a perfect unashamed pop song, especially with the epic songs

I really hope she gives us everything we know and love and more. nobody owuld complain with a 20 track album I think that would clamp the LGBT for a good 2 weeks waking up diagonal and hit me up re recordings on a bonus disc or standalone singles im still campaigning for

hasta la vista was always one of my favourite newer songs shes written, its what it deserves

I watched a interview recently from august 2014, it was really introspective ill refind it later but she referred to the whole project as an EP. she said some of the songs she performed with Karmin were on it, and even said SLAY (the studio version in context with the rest of the convo) was played on radio a few times. Must've been right before she got dropped aswell. im glad we didnt get this album via epic and everything happened the way it did. LA Reid literally cannot be trusted and in 2022 we would still be begging for the full album except she would have no plans to release it properly since she already 'had that era' via an EP. I feel like she actually has a chance now to give us the full era from start to finish (minus AG) and a full cd album package. I feel like bonnie no more than anyone wants this album out, even after it all leaked she *still* wants it out just shows her dedication. I believe its been factors out of her control thats been holding this release back for as long as it has. side note, it would b soo cool if she released a bonus disc or something like Taylor Swift did with red with re recordings of american girl, hit me up & waking up diagonal, along with 2018 version of sleepwalker. maybe a side ep or something cause I really wouldn't it to replace a deluxe but it would be a cute tack on especially if she really wants to give us everything with no limits

anybody else notice wild card sounds remastered and like none of the demos that leaked? it sounds fresh and crisp yet still maintains that 2010s feel.. I hope she keeps it this way for all the songs
