I really have no idea tbh. Normally when I have FLAC files I import them into Audacity, export them in WAV and then let iTunes convert them to ALAC. I don't know if this downgrades the quality, but I've checked in Spek and there's no significant loss.

As @UnknownBoyPT said, you need to go to Edit>Preferences>Import Settings on iTunes and you can change the quality you rip your CDs in. The ALAC/Apple Lossless enconding is the big m4a files you were talking about. Let me know if this works for you!

I'm not experienced with dating, but judging by what you've explained, that guy has a lot of things to sort out in his life. You might feel like it's your duty to try and help him so that both of you can be happy together, but sometimes people need to get their shit together by themselves. Imo the best you can do is encourage him without getting involved too much in his decisions, if he does need your help I'm almost certain he will let you know, and who knows, things might turn out well and you two could maintain your relationship! @Cypher @Skinny Legend thanks so much for the feedback! I actually had no choice but to speed up the vocals, because the BPM for Bleeding Love is slightly faster than Blank Space. If I left the vocals untouched, it would sound off-sync. However, maybe it would be a good idea to slow down the instrumental and keep the vocals the same as the original! I'll do that tonight and post the results

My doctor decided not to give me any meds for the time being, so here are some methods I use to cope with it! 1. If you feel like biting your nails (which is a very common unhealthy coping mechanism), try to get something to chew on, preferably made of rubber so that you don't hurt your teeth. Also, rubber is less likely to give you an infection. 2. Anxiety is sometimes triggered by overthinking. I'd suggest you find an activity that keeps your mind distracted from any malicious thoughts! I personally do dancing and reading, but that depends a lot on the person. 3. Surround yourself with positivity. Really, I cannot stress this enough. Many of my friends don't feel like listening to cheerful music when they're feeling anxious, so they go for depressing songs instead in an attempt to match their state of mind. However, I've noticed things work the other way around for me. When I'm feeling anxious, I try to listen to happy hardcore or mellow music. 4. If your anxiety stems from a relationship, you can either talk it out with your partner or convince yourself that you should trust that person and not let the little things get to you. I can't give much advice on this because I've never dated though, but I've noticed the methods I use to keep my friendships healthy can be applied to romantic relationships too. Hope this helps!
