  1. OMG thanks very much! glad you liked it
  2. Lmao here's me doing silly faces and a very badly executed lip sync to my own lyrics but here's the verse! It was actually pretty fun doing it so I hope Bonnie sees it (and doesn't hate it lol)
  3. Teehee I wrote a verse, we'll see where it goes. Hope I can record it on weekend
  4. Yes pls I want this too! and I don't want to rip it off insta/tiktok as the quality from rips is always shit. at least YouTube/SoundCloud rips are better than socials I'd love to try a couple edits for DGMGF to see how it sounds with someone else
  5. I'm so happy it's finally out! I had the honour to listen to this album some weeks before its release and I knew it was a carefully crafted pop-gem collection. Its diversity is what standouts the most! From 80s-inspired to pop/rock to R&B... it really encompasses a wide variety of pop subgenres and it shines through and through. It deserves to be heard around the world, and I hope it's the first of many! Already bagged my copy Nemesis, The City and Did It for Love remain my top 3
  6. Yayyy! She was my third one actually, and SLAY was my most played Bonnie track. I hope to see her in more top 5 artists next year after the album drops
  7. New way to see the song and video: it's lowkey a teaser of the album's vibes overall. While I still don't see it within the album as an interlude or anything, it does seem as an introduction to the record. Slowly getting into it And tbh it ignited my interest on the Forever 21 video even more
  8. YES! I'm guessing Forever 21 is the next single, and the idea of a summer tour is absolutely perfect for the album! I just hope it all comes as she's planning it and no delays happen, fingers crossed
  9. S.L.A.Y. and Hot City were right moves. DGMGF is not in my opinion, so I don't see how it became a single over tracks like Rewind Your Heart, Electric Heaven, I Wanna Fucking Call You or Forever 21 which are in my opinion better crafted tracks - maybe they'll be singles as well, she's said there will be more singles. Cool for her if she's having her moment with DGMGF and that's amazing but I think it would be more beneficial for the era to put the promo she's put in DGMGF into better songs. That said, yes, I'll still beg for the album and buy it when it comes out and stream it everyday. It's still unbelievable that the songs are finally coming out after a whole ass decade. Hopefully this album will propel Bonnie into the spotlight as she deserves. That's it.
  10. you know what, okay. let me sit here and wait till next single cause not me thinking it was her shot to do an interesting collab or something.
  11. No cause now I'm curious as to will she make an extended version featuring another artist? I'd be here for it tbh
  12. Who is Qveen Herby though
  13. I lowkey hope if she wants to release an extended version featuring a guest artist she should do it asap that Kendrick Lamar assisted fanmade edit is not it for me, but I'm curious as to what would Bonnie do it the song herself. May I suggest my dear Ava for it?
  14. Oop, she addressed people's disappointment with DGMGF length on Instagram. I just had to slide my comment on the low and I see apparently I was one of the very few on the 'I care for a song's length' side, so I bet I'll be dragged at some point. Anyways, here's to hoping she's actually been reading our thread somehow and I hope she knows we want the album AND the other dark album she did around 2019-20... maybe a much shorter in-between-albums gap this time around?
  15. nnn ngl I hate this song. At first I was like 'yeah the verses are okay' but that David Guetta production... gee, I swear they get worse. First the two Bebe tracks (I'm Good will always be insufferable to me, but One in a Million was better), although that keyboard-driven chorus production is still not it for me. Plus in this track I find the sample sort of... out of place? I don't know, it's a no for me. I don't know what to expect from her, she seems to be very prolific and I've been replaying both Feed the Beast and Problématique (with their outtakes) like crazy so I don't think I'd want a drastically different sound from her in her next project, whenever it comes, whatever it is. I just wish David Guetta stays away from her lowkey I hope the rest of Candy leaks soon so I can add it to my library. As it's still incomplete I don't play it and I know there are a couple true bops in it.
  16. You're right - although at least speaking for me, I'm not pretending that. It just felt very evident that any other song could've been chosen. Furthermore, DGMGF was a little disregarded by Bonnie herself when she addressed it on that TikTok comment. Ngl I never even imagined it would be released, considering the rest of the songs we know. Also, little thing here, I disagreed with the DGMGF single choice, evidently. But is it a bad thing being critical? I mean, calling out this song because is not on level with its predecessors and the rest of the sessions is not precisely a bad thing. In the end, we're not hating on her for releasing it (yeah at first I was disappointed and somewhat annoyed but it's not like I'm unstanning or anything). As I pointed in my previous post, okay, she dropped it, so be it. Personally is not my fave so I'll just let it pass and wait till the next single. I think it's more than clear we'll still be here and support her and the project. We were here for years of drought (not only the Epic album, but literally nothing substantial was released after Mad Mad World in 2018) yet here we were - and here we'll be once the album is out! Though you're right - I'll try and moderate my words on situations like my personal disappointment with DGMGF - I don't doubt she'd lurk here or any other forum every now and then. If you're reading this, Bonnie, we still love you, and we cannot wait for the album!
  17. Past the initial disappointment with Don't Get Mad, Get Famous, now I'm just ignoring its existence, lol. Nice she's trying to score a TikTok hit with it and I truly hope it works. But I have the certainty that it's not indicative of a new creative direction or anything. I mean, since addressing tracks on TikTok *comment section*, she referred to it just as a shitshow that she could release for said platform, and she just did. I don't see any problem at all with the upcoming tracks and album, I mean, many of us have heard it from the leaks and we know it's not a collection of unfinished demos at the risk of being cut to 1:10 songs like DGMGF was (since the leak, we all knew it was unfinished). It could've been better and fully fleshed out? Yes. Was it? No. Does it mean the album will be cursed and she will become a TikTok-trend chasing artist? Not at all! Plus she's referred to a few more singles coming out so I don't really think we should worry about the album becoming a TikTok-pandering songs collection or anything. Ngl I haven't listened to Bonnie in a while (I'm trying not to overplay the singles for when the album drops), but I've been enthusiastic about the album since SLAY was released. DGMGF is like a little promotional thingy in this campaign, what if it doesn't even make the cut? I don't think anyone would be completely shattered if it's left off the album - but if it does (once again), it's on streaming now at least. I lowkey want her to announce the next single already, late November would be a great moment if she wants to continue dropping tracks in early 2024 to promote the record for it to release in the middle of the year.
  18. Fingers crossed that Don't Get Mad, Get Famous really is the shitshow she said it to be back then and it doesn't end up in the album so I can put it as a bonus track or something. It's like an interlude at this point. I'm still excited about this album. Even if I know it's at least half a year away. Please give us the title of a couple more confirmed songs girl
  19. 1:21? And the 'keep your ass in line' line... I was expecting it to be changed. If she changed the 'every single time' AND the '1999' line in SLAY, I had hopes for DGMGF. I'll bop to it sometime but as a single it's still a choice. I'll consider it a promo single instead, and it BETTER not take the place of an essential track in the album.
  20. iirc Naked was indeed made for Bonnie's album around 2016, so I'd dare guessing around the Thorns era. *Maybe* it was meant for that EP/album before it was scrapped. I'm really curious to hear what Bonnie's version of the song was.
  21. I'm compiling them into a 'cover' album, trying to adjust the EQs and volume a little bit so it sounds more uniform. Once I'm done with it I'll share it here!
  22. I've been an avid Amy Winehouse fan ever since I found her out circa 2017. Knowing she left unfinished a full album that was in the early recording stages and was subsequently destroyed made me feel disheartened by the impossibility of ever hearing more Amy material at all. However, I've found some AI covers that sometimes really resemble Amy's vocals and style, so I at least hold on to those.
  23. Okay I accidentally stumbled upon the DGMGF snippet and she really did quite the rework?! I can't believe I'm bopping so hard to it. It has the potential to become my favourite single so far... and THREE MORE SINGLES? they better be Forever 21, Electric Heaven (or Rewind Your Heart) and I Wanna Fucking Call You. She can flesh them out very very well. Bonnie, you deserve the world queen!
  24. Don't Get Mad Get Famous? Out of all of the other options? Bring it on I guess, but if it took the place of an essential track imma riot ngl. Lowkey I always saw DGMGF more like a b-side or something...
  25. My best bet is Rewind Your Heart. I agree it's more proper for Autumn so maybe it's a possibility. Forever 21 and Electric Heaven would be the ones I want the most, tbh. I lowkey I Wanna Fucking Call You has chances too, but who knows.
