I know right? I remember that we had years without a mass leak since that when we got Hallelujah, Always on My Mind and others in like 2016-7, such a dream that the recent one with the Epic sessions happened ddd.
-
I'm still waiting for Forever 21, it needs to leak But who knows, I realistically feel it's not coming anytime soon
-
This has been out since like 2016-7, but thanks for re-sharing!
-
Yeah I think it was previously mentioned that Sexin U was from the Epic sessions. In my opinion it sounds in the same style to it, and it's such a shame it was not finished!
-
Well, I think mine are Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt (probably my all-time fave by her), Hot City, Electric Heaven, Hallelujah, Good Day 4 Love, Easy, Mine, Speed of Light, Bombastic, Surrender and Love Spell. She has so many objectively excellent tracks that I just can't settle for one. But if I had to, that one would be Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt.

In memory of Born to Die's 10th Anniversary today, here is a little thing I did! I'm dying to print this

Comes from those sessions!
-
No way I literally FORGOT about this absolute serve, WE NEED THIS
-
Probably it won't happen, but if she released any of the Epic sessions, those three and Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt are the perfect contenders. She could even slap those 4 in an EP. Or let's be more ambitious!: Forever 21 (maybe title track!) S.L.A.Y. Hot City Electric Heaven Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt Everything But You Tbh, these are from the most solid tracks from the bunch, and the ones I'd dare to say have the most chances to be released. Now that I let my delulu come out, let's just pray she could at least drop them as singles or whatever. And let it be this year. She needs to come back into the scene An EP every 1.5 years doesn't make it necessary for her to drop another full album...
-
Bitchiness aside, I do feel excited for her releasing any song (even Hasta La Vista would be better than many songs in the radio right now) but I just don't want to put my hope in a simple "guys it's coming" post as she's done that several times before. It would be particularly good for her to release songs that we know are going to be of brilliant quality, it's just I hope she's coming for real this time. If not, well, we always know she's somewhere there, maybe casually working on a song or two, with the intention of releasing. At least she hasn't retired.
-
Yeah, as that's one of the best from the batch + the one that seems wouldn't leak
-
EXACTLY. With her I need to see a result in order to believe. She'd approve an album made up with songs from the Epic sessions even if it was called "Bonnie McKee: The Unreleased Collection" Not even her!
-
I still don't believe her but it would be a dream if it's true!
-
Wait what? That just CAN'T be possible. Assuming she had 23 when she started workin with them, that was, at most, 12 years ago... Oh, no, it's true. Sorry, my bad. I think I just rounded numbers way too much
-
From those sessions, I only really really like The Rules of Attraction, Surrender and Earthquake. The rest are good, but not very much my favourite Bonnie material tbh. Awww thanks bestie! That's what Bonnie's music makes me do the pieces are right there, and I'm pretty sure more than one storyline can be made. She just has to grab them, arrange them and release them
-
Exactly! From those sessions, she literally has material to drop 4 EPs like that. One each 6 months. And there she is, a regularly-releasing artist delivering bops every single time Who knows what's gonna happen with these songs tbh
-
Yo, she has us wrapped around her finger It would be great if she used the momentum of the leaks to make some appearance in her socials or anything
-
Well I keep forgetting about them because apparently the Right Now circulating is not THE Right Now she performed, so And with Hit Me Up, not the biggest fan of it tbh, though it would be cool to have more Bonnie. But if you'd ask me which song I'd prefer to get in full first, I would always say Forever 21
-
Sure thing! Maybe Google Drive works for you? This really feels like her XCX World era, with Forever 21, a fan favourite, remaining unleaked, just like Taxi did for a long while
-
I also was finally able to make a better Electric Heaven remaster, and I really like how it turned out! Enjoy in mp3 and WAV. Just in case you wonder how it changes, it sounds more balanced. This is the original leak's waveforms: And this is the remastered waveforms: So essentially it sounds louder, but not only more punchy. It's more balanced so the verses sound louder and the choruses don't punch much over her vocals.
-
Mine is as follows: With Forever 21 as track 3, which remains unleaked. When/if it leaks, I'll add it. I think there's a great story going from Hot City until Rewind Your Heart, arranged that way: Tracks 1 (American Girl) and 2 (S.L.A.Y.) both kinda set the mood for the record, and track 3 (Forever 21) in an extent as well: this thing of having fun, being young, falling in love, feeling powerful, being the best you can and live your life. Such a mood. Then, you hang out with friends (Hot City) and meet your friend Jenny's boyfriend, who you get a crush on (Jenny's Got a Boyfriend), but as it's an infatuation that will not end well, you decide not to make a move, as much as you want to (I Wanna Fucking Call You). The feeling is not gone, and you kinda give in to it, so things begin to flow between you and Jenny's boyfriend (Electric Heaven), but then reality hits after something goes wrong as he leaves (Everything But You) and the relationship eventually ends (Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt). After the downfall of the relationship, you'd wish everything was like the now-gone good moments (Rewind Your Heart), but as it's not gonna happen, you just step away and get to know more people, so you get to know this guy to have a more casual affair with, but it's fun (Unlock Your Love and, to an extent, Outlaw - in the frame of talking of a past exclusive formal relationship and now you have the complete freedom to meet anyone you want), in the process of forgetting how the last relationship went and you've moved on (Waking Up Diagonal). The last track (Don't Get Mad, Get Famous) felt good as a closing song as it takes again the same powerful streak of the first three songs, so the story takes a sort of cycle-closing ending. P.S. I ended up writing everything as if you are Bonnie but it's just how I'd explain her how I pictured the album's plot if it was ordered this way. // I think that, with this story, Sexin U could fit between Unlock Your Love and Outlaw, but that will keep making the album longer than I want it to be so I'll leave it for an Epic additional EP. Of course I have more Bonnie albums, but this is the one I'm proud of the most, and also the one I love the most, if it's not evident enough the other one I really like is the one I call Wild at Heart, from the 2014-16 sessions including the Bombastic EP. I'm very OCD with eras so that's why I parted her discography into 12-14 track albums, leaving out those I'm not too fond of. I'm still working on an Epic companion EP, with some outtakes from the main album.
-
I actually use those tracklists you mention, but if she were to officially release the album, I think it would've been nice to have sessions from both projects combined into a single album dddd. EXACTLY, I.Nimene was a great project too. Hope we'll get to know more info about it, though it's highly unlikely to happen

Tbh many songs from those sessions really deserved better Maybe if the album was like: The Lucky Ones Can't Control the Kids Sugar Kaleidoscope Bullet Zero Gravity Speed Limit Army of Love Last Breath Supergirl Dollface Here and Now Stardust I'm not too fond of either Love Me or Leave Me or Chemical, but with Stardust she sounds pretty good and feels like a really great closer. Or if we got Weapons of Mass Creation in 2012 and Utopia in 2013/2014 it would've been awesome too.

Afaik there's 4: Dressed to Kill, Ferocious, Lookin 4 Trouble and Resurrection. Nah, I left Sleepwalker back with the outtakes from the Epic album.
-
I use the Resurrection artwork, it's great That's just 'cause I'm lazy and haven't made one myself, but it does slap tbh
