  1. Dance Alone I really love, but since I also have it on Sia's album and it feels more of a Sia song to me, I kept it there. As for Midnight Ride, I'm not a big fan of it but is a cute little bop! Maybe a cute bonus track if you will?
  2. Kylie Minogue - Tension (2023) (No change for the artwork, the standard one is good enough for both standard and deluxe) Kylie Minogue - Tension II (2024) The Gemini edition would be the main artwork: And the Diamond edition would be the deluxe artwork:
  3. I read that too but tbh I don't know if it's official either. Anyways, Let Me Reintroduce Myself sounds like a much more proper name considering it as a comeback.
  4. JESUS CHRIST the bar was below hell yet another reason to dislike this Charli era smh ------------- NEways, on another note, the new Bonnie McChristmas EP reminded me of her original Hallelujah song (not the cover) and my God I absolutely NEED a Bonnie DarkKee album next! Hopefully that dark album she did in 2019-2020 is still set for release because it would be SO GOOD
  5. That would be a slay! I love that the tracklist is much more cohesive, yet it somehow maintains very marketable songs and exceptional deep cuts. Amazing job! And that artwork you did is awesome, I'm LOVING IT
  6. I don't care for holiday music but I'm just glad Bonnie keeps finding ways to keep us fed! 2024 really was her career's rebirth and I'm so happy
  7. Aaaaand so I wanted to do a top songs list but I'm not sure. The albums I have in my top 10 have at least 50% of their songs to be eligible for said list so idk I don't want to make a long ass list so let's see: Florrie - Love Hearts AURORA - To Be Alright LAUREL - Only One Hayley Mary - The Lonely One Bonnie McKee - Just a Kiss Kylie Minogue - Taboo LAUREL - Breakfast David Kushner - Buried at Sea AURORA - Starvation Florrie - Kissing in the Cold Florrie - Looking for Love Paloma Faith - Pressure (feat. Kojey Radical) AURORA - The Dark Dresses Lightly Bonnie McKee - Electric Heaven David Kushner - Flesh x Blood iamnotshane - What Do You Do for a Living? I Do My Best (feat. EMME) Brooke Candy - Crisis (feat. Lozaek) Kerli - The Witching Hour LAUREL - Change Dua Lipa - Maria
  8. Why the absolute HELL did I miss LAUREL's album released this year? What a record! Let me rearrange my top 10 then: AURORA - What Happened to the Heart? Hayley Mary - XS Florrie - The Lost Ones LAUREL - PALPITATIONS Kylie Minogue - Tension II Paloma Faith - The Glorification of Sadness Bonnie McKee - Hot City Bastille - & David Kushner - The Dichotomy Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism
  9. lmao I was aware of this but she has to be joking although if now every album she's released is being nicknamed her debut album I wouldn't be mad as long as it has some true bops in it
  10. I haven't been up to date with her since Problématique dropped last year, but I bet she's been on the studio. I wonder when would a new era start though - spring 2025 sounds very reasonable for a lead single, if such exists.
  11. Whoa, that's a very extensive list! Tbh this year I was in a very throwback mode and aside from my top 10 and a couple other projects, I was revisiting older releases instead. But omg it must've been hard to narrow +100 projects to this!
  12. Let me begin by saying that many artists I've followed for a long time released music this year, and several were underwhelming in my opinion. Others, very overrated due to their TikTok/social media popularity/virality (rather than actual quality), but despite all that, I was able to grab a top 10 list that ultimately wasn't that much in the spotlight. Here's mine! AURORA - What Happened to the Heart? Hayley Mary - XS Florrie - The Lost Ones Kylie Minogue - Tension II Paloma Faith - The Glorification of Sadness Bonnie McKee - Hot City Bastille - & David Kushner - The Dichotomy Kerli - OVERSOUL Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism Yup, I was expecting to have Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Brooke Candy, Katy Perry, and Charli XCX the most of all, on this list, but honestly their albums this year were not enough to make it. Ultimately, it's not all so bad. With Bonnie McKee giving us THE maximalist bright pop record after a decade, Florrie delivering us a brilliant full studio album after several delays, and AURORA with her most sublime album to date (+ I went to see her live this year and it was the best night of this year!), I'm happy to close this year with some pop bibles that will definitely become classics.
  13. The end of this year is around the corner, and we've had TONS of new music this year! What were some of the best albums and songs released this year? Which ones are still on replay for you? Share your thoughts!
  14. I remembered that an unused drum stem for Text Book by Lana Del Rey leaked earlier this year, and I tried to mix it into the song. The difference is noticeable only in the first verse, but I think it really switched the track up! Lana Del Rey - Text Book (Alternate Version with scrapped drum stem)
  15. Kim Petras - Candy (2023). This is utterly simple but effective imo. Let's hope this album gets Problématique'd and we get it in full HQ on streaming one of these days
  16. Here's to hoping 2025 finally sees the re-release of Last Days of Freedom and Fears + Shadows back into streaming platforms! And album four too- :andioop:

  17. Meghan Trainor - Timeless (2024) First of all, the singles chosen for the era were very odd choices to be honest. Been Like This is one of the worst songs in the record, and how it came to be the lead single is beyond me when there's literally like 4 other options sitting there. In my opinion these should've been the singles: "Love on Hold" (feat. T-Pain) "To the Moon" "Criminals" "Sleepin' on Me" "Bite Me" Also, as usual with Meghan Trainor's albums, there's a very solid 12-track album hiding in the overfluffed randomly-ordered playlist record that was released, so here's a proposal on how it should've been as to make it concise, cohesive, nice-flowing and remarkable. Sadly, it's too short (a whooping 12 songs, 34 minutes???) but it makes for a nice listen. To the Moon Sleepin' on Me Whoops Hate It Here Bite Me Criminals Love on Hold (feat. T-Pain) I Don't Do Maybe Forget How to Love Crowded Room I Get It Timeless
  18. Florrie - Give Me Your Love (2010) Instead of the Introduction EP released in 2010 as Florrie's debut extended play, she instead went for a full studio effort including the other tracks she released earlier that year. It is also retitled Give Me Your Love as for its title track being a fan-favourite. The era begins with "Call 911" and continues with other tracks like "Fascinate Me", "Come Back to Mine" and "Panic Attack" as promotional singles throughout the year. Ultimately, "Fascinate Me", "Give Me Your Love" and the first Fred Falke mix of "Panic Attack" are subsequently released as official singles to follow up the commercial success of "Call 911". Singles from Give Me Your Love: "Call 911" (12 July 2010) "Fascinate Me" (3 September 2010) "Give Me Your Love" (28 October 2010) "Panic Attack" (8 November 2010) Track listing: Call of the Wild Give Me Your Love Fascinate Me Fred Falke version Call 911 Radio mix You Wanna Start Something Summer Nights Panic Attack Fred Falk mix 2 Come Back to Mine Jaxon remix edit Left Too Late Call 911 Florrie remix; Exclusive Florrie website bonus track
  19. omg it's so beautiful!
  20. i'm glad you liked my tracklist rework! Flip Phone is the best song she's released since the RCA days so idk how in hell did she decide to skip it from either of her new albums. i'm honestly not too fond of several of her recent songs but some I do enjoy, but i fear this will be it for her pop music. she seems so over it atp and i bet she can't wait to move on from this sound - that's probably why these eras have been a mess. shame, cause Flip Phone, Crisis, Wreck Me, Safe Word or Dirty Little Freak are some serious bops and definitely deserved more.
  21. Thanks! I didn't know about that song omg
  22. Lykke Li - I Never Learn (2014). She just posted it on Instagram along with a vinyl re-release for the album anniversary. There's also chances that this was only a list of songs to choose from to form the tracklist, rather than an actual draft (it doesn't make much sense judging by the songs we have + it's too long for a Lykke album anyway). Never Gonna Love Again No Rest for the Wicked No One Ever Loved I Never Learn Gunshot More Than I Want You* Just Like a Dream Heart of Steel Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone Silverline Sleeping Alone Felt the Bleed Midnight Shining Let's Forget Together* Prayer for the Damned* I Lied* (where were Heavenly Lies and Burning Bridges though) * = unleaked. Felt the Bleed leaked years ago, and Midnight Shining was released not long ago.
  23. While this is true and I didn't notice before, the absence of essential tracks like Break My Heart, Hallucinate or the title track feels odd idk
  24. Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia. Apparently this was the working tracklist at some (very early) point (methinks). Physical Don't Start Now We're Good Levitating Wrong Number Cool Good in Bed That Kind of Woman Love Again It was... all over the place, to say the least. But it must've been a very chaotic process to select the final tracklists considering the insane amount of songs recorded for that album, and also the immense amount of excellent tracks that were left out (justice for Love Is Religion, Ball & Chain, Good Luck and Firestarter, between tons of others)
  25. Thanks! Yeah, imo Empty Gold and Is There Somewhere really deserved a spot in the album, yet we got Control instead I, on the contrary, am LIVING for the Control erasure. I despise that song so much
