Lindsay Lohan - A Little More Personal (Raw) Appreciation Thread
liberation replied to liberation's topic in Jukebox
The amount of taste in this thread Her cover of Edge of Seventeen is amazing! One of my favorites too. Besides I Live for the Day i've read somewhere once that Fastlane was considered for a single at some point. Not sure if it's a legit info because i don't remember where i saw that. The booklet is one of my favorites ever, everything about it it's flawless. Confessions of a Broken Heart hit me so hard when i heard it for the first time A true masterpiece! Seems like Black Hole is a fan favorite I agree that if this album was released for another artist it would've been more successful indeed. Considering everything on it seems like it was too deep and people always had a vision of a shallow person when it comes to Lindsay so maybe that's the reason why no one paid attention for this. Imagine a Kelly version of Black Hole tho -
I was just listening to this iconic masterpiece and realized that no one even talk about this album! So i was wondering, for those who already listened to this, what are your favorites tracks? Which ones should've been singles after "Confessions of a Broken Heart"? Why is the cover one of the most beautiful ever? My personal favorites are "Black Hole", "I Live for the Day" and "If It's Alright". All of them are so emotional and shows that Lindsay had so much potential I also adore "A Little More Personal" and "My Innocence", those two definitely complete my top 5. For those who haven't listened to it yet, i thought i should share a download link, so thank me later Please share your thoughts!

Kesha owned PHF in 2017 Thanks @Ruthless Love for mentioning Love So Soft, glad to see that someone appreciates this amazing song! Thank you @Joe for your review as well, i got really emotional when i read it because it was very relatable and i'm sure that it will make everyone who haven't realized how special this song is to see it in a different way And also thanks @Countess for inviting me to this! PHF was definitely one of the best things in my 2017 and i'm very glad to contribute to this amazing list.

I'm so surprised that Tell Me You Love Me and Younger Now made this list! They are not in my top 10 but these are definitely great albums. I still would rather get a tie between N1A and Pop 2 tho I didn't really liked Kelela's album tbh. Like, It really has a nice production and i understand why people stan her, but it's just not my style. Lust for Life was the second biggest surprise of the year for me! I didn't really liked the singles so i was expecting a mess of an album but It ended up being an amazing work. Change is one of the most beautiful tracks i've heard this year LFL was the second biggest surprise of the year for me because Melodrama was THE biggest surprise i thought that Pure Heroine was cute but i wasn't excited at all for this album, i thought It would be just another overrated cd but It really deserved all the praise It received. If i was to do a list of my 5 songs of the year Homemade Dynamite would definitely make It. And i was hoping that Rainbow would be #1 while reading this! Just like you i thought that she wouldn't release anything so soon, and i'm so proud of her for this album i also thought that she would never top Warrior but she did that. Other of my favorite albums of the year are Meaning of Life by Kelly Clarkson, Now by Shania Twain, Places by Lea Michele, and when It comes to male singers i loved Harry Styles debut, Flicker by Niall and Wonderland by Take That. Unlike most people i thought that this was an amazing year for albums and i can't wait to see what 2018 will bring to us!

There's a few other xmas bops i love like This Year and Christmas Time by Christina, the two EPs by Ariana Grande (even though Christmas & Chill is the ICONIC one), Christmas In the Sand and Mistletoe by Colbie Caillat, 4 Carats by Kelly Clarkson, and of course, the other two xmas originals by Leona Lewis: Your Hallelujah and Mr. Right- 9 comments

Are we only missing 4 songs from Brooke Hogan's "This Voice"?
liberation replied to Turn Ya Head's topic in Jukebox
You'll Never Be Like Him is one of the best on Redemption so It would be really nice to have an early version with the 'This Voice' sound -
Gross He can keep it

She never said no But did she say yes? She only made things worse for her through this statement. It opens too much interpretations that the events that Timothy said really happened.
-
So true. That's the reason why most rape victims keep these things to themselves. Imagine if it's true, not only having to deal with the trauma, but now this kind If attack.
-
I never liked Melanie at all but i was shocked to read it tbh. Some of her fans are being such a mess attacking this Timothy girl. I always choose to believe the victim so i hope that if it's real she'll have some closure and that Melanie will somehow pay for this.
