I have a feeling that it will be, but not necessarily for the same reasons. What do the majority of Katy Perry singles have in common? Their lead producer: Dr. Luke. Nearly all of her major hits came from that one man. Now that his reputation is ruined and Katy Perry is pretending to care about social issues, she's dropped him. Sadly for her, he was the one producer she seemed to have a really magic connection with musically to pump out hit after hit (although I also have thoughts about this that I won't be getting into right now). She got way too full of herself during the TD era for hits that really weren't because of her presence at all and that over-inflated ego is just now starting to shatter in front of the world's eyes because she's probably realizing that she's not all that she built herself up to be in her head.

unpopular opinion: as someone who stanned Miley from the very beginning, Dead Petz is my favorite album of hers by far. It's on ANOTHER LEVEL. I'm glad I can purchase it because this art DESERVES my money.

Three shows that I've watched recently that were really great imo: Between: Between is the story of a small town and surrounding rural area under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody aged 22 and older. The series also explores numerous themes: the power vacuum that results when the government quarantines a 10 square mile zone and leaves the inhabitants to fend for themselves; the desire of inhabitants to escape, ignoring that they will spread the deadly disease to the entire planet; and the effect of hormonal teenaged/young adult angst becoming the guiding force for an entire community. Slasher: Slasher centers around Sarah Bennett who, with husband Dylan, moves back to the town of her birth, Waterbury (a fictional town in Canada), and into her parents' former home. It was in that house on Halloween Night 1988 where both of her parents, Bryan and Rachel, were murdered. Rachel was pregnant with Sarah at the time of her murder, with police discovering the killer holding Rachel's newborn baby after the slayings. Sarah's return to Waterbury is greeted with the start of a series of copycat murders, all appearing to be at the hands of "The Executioner". Wentworth: Wentworth is set in modern-day Australia and focuses on Bea Smith when she first enters prison after being charged with the attempted murder of her husband. Bea is separated from her daughter and sent to Wentworth on remand, where she lives in "an uncertain limbo" until she is sentenced. Starting at the bottom of Wentworth's hierarchy, Bea is forced to learn how to survive in prison. If you like OITNB, you will like this show. All of them are on Netflix, as well, so it's super easy to find~

Depending on the wording in her contract, she may still be stuck under Dr. Luke. She was only signed to Sony through Luke's label, so now that the deal is done, it's uncertain right now if Kesha is in a better or worse situation. Depending on her contract's wording, she may now just be stuck under an exclusive contract with Luke who no longer has major label affiliation. But, if Kesha is now just stuck to THE LABEL, it may end up working in her favor and she can just hopefully work better with whoever takes over control of Kemosabe. Sadly it seems like the former is true, and she may just be stuck under Luke's control fully now. But it all remains tbd.

Good thing I've had my own experiences with her that have helped me form my opinions. Not trying to change anyone else's mind on her, though, just stating my opinion. Clearly you're a fan so you're going to side with her and that's fine.
