Did we get writing and producers credits yet?

The nearly unanimous love I’ve been seeing for this album has been amazing. People seem to be very nostalgic for this early-2010’s pure pop sound. I know it’s a long shot but I hope SOMETHING from this album sticks and Bonnie is able to get a viral/TikTok hit, she deserves it after all the blood, sweat, and tears she’s put into getting this out into the world.

I just downloaded Hot City off of 7Digital 😭 I have a legal copy of the long lost Epic album sitting on my hard drive right now 😭 This moment doesn't even seem real. It feels like I'm about to wake up and find out this is all a dream. The hype is fucking UNREAL right now.

Some of these reviews are getting me so hype 😭 I’ve listened to a few snippets but I’m waiting until it’s officially out in the US to listen to the full thing.

Ugh, this was such a fun time. It’s like every day we woke up there was a new Bonnie leak. It’s hard to believe that’s where we started and now we’re hours away from streaming/purchasing the album.

Did she confirm this anywhere?

I knew it would 😭 No one, and I mean NO ONE, is touching Max Martin’s production powers. If Taylor couldn’t I knew Bonnie wouldn’t be able to either. Lucky the 2013 final version leaked so we can just use that. Everything else sounds great tho!

I noticed that but I actually don’t stream 😅 I was thinking more along the lines of Qobuz or maybe 7Digital.

Do we know if Hot City will be available on any other digital music retailers besides iTunes? I really don't want to have to download it from iTunes, but considering this entire album cycle has been serving early 2010's realness I guess I won't complain about it too much.

Can we also talk about how GOOD Bonnie’s voice sounds? Like she sounds basically the same on the released versions vs the demos that were recorded 10+ years ago. It’s kinda insane. I’m really impressed with how she’s preserved her voice.

Who else is excited for the revamped Worst In Me? That 2009 demo has a ton of potential so I hope the new version is a sugar coated bop.

Girls, I’m sorry for spamming the thread but I’m floating on cloud 9 right now. We literally have a pre-order/save link for the Epic album and it’s coming out in a little over two weeks. We used to DREAM about times like this. I’m just so, so incredibly grateful that Bonnie is doing this for us.

I also prefer the original mix of SLAY, the 2020 mix to be exact. The released version was lowkey butchered imo. I do prefer the new Hot City tho, was never a big fan of the leak. Not really happy with Stars and Sleepwalker being on the album either. I was never a big fan of either of them so I hope she did something different with them.

If she was able to get American Girl on the album I wonder why she couldn’t get Somebody’s Gonna Get Hurt? I know I keep harping on about that song but it’s seriously a career highlight and it’ll be sorely missed on here.

I’m quite literally still obsessed with the new JGAB. Bonnie really breathed new life into that tired ass demo that leaked and I can’t help but love her even more for it.

Yeah, apparently it was re-recorded for Hot City? Or maybe it’s a completely different song, I can’t remember which.

I’m basically in the same boat. I always loved Bonnie when she was writing for our faves, but I turned into a full time stan when she finally released American Girl. Her skills are INSANE and she knows how to write an amazing pop song. Little 16 year old me was devastated when Hot City was originally scrapped, and the fact that it’s finally being released is nothing short of mind blowing. I hope this only means good things for Bonnie from here on out.

Speaking of adding songs, is anyone else gonna add American Girl to their version of the album? I want to but I need to see the tracklist first to know where.
