  1. Now I just got around to listening to my vinyl. I got the second translucent pressing, and it sounds FANTASTIC. Very little static and rich soundscapes, and it sounds incredibly dynamic. I’m super impressed by this sound quality. I’m sure that these vinyl were produced on a budget but you can tell a lot of love and attention was put into this. Well worth the price if anyone is still on the fence about buying one.
  2. So I finally got around to listening to my CD… did anyone else who bought it notice some (SLIGHT) mastering differences on some of the songs when compared with the digital/streaming versions? Its most noticeable on Slay, Electric Heaven, and Rewind Your Heart imo but I can’t tell if I’m just imagining it lol.
  3. My signed CD came in the mail today 😍
  4. Any news on the deluxe?
  5. Physicals coming soon! https://x.com/BonnieMcKee/status/1843434693573914859?ref_src=twsrc^tfw
  6. Omg the revamped SGGH sounds AMAZING 😭 Also Wild Card? Outlaw?? Dashboard sounds fucking amazing??? I hope all five songs make it honestly, why waste the material if it’s all ready to go? Tho I’m not a big fan of Sexin’ U. I would love to get a mastered version of Hitman. Or maybe Soundtrack To The End, tho SGGH may fill the ballad quota. Y’all, I can’t believe how Bonnie has been spoiling us this year. I feel so bad for doubting her. Bonnie, if you happen to read this I just want to apologize for anything offensive I may have said. I’m so, so grateful for everything you’ve done for us 🙏🏻
  7. Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, Parlophone completely dropped the ball with Kylie after the Fever era. But there's no denying the albums she released with them (and Impossible Princess) are pop perfection. I'm not saying her BMG albums are bad, but none of them have wowed me aside from a few singles here and there. I miss the days when Kylie albums used to be events.
  8. This is messy as FUCK but makes sense. I’ve also moved on from Tension but if she wants to throw out a digital expanded version with a few new tracks to tide us over until the next album, I wouldn’t mind. I agree. I feel there’s been a downgrade in quality with her career ever since moving to BMG.
  9. Two questions: 1. Do we know what’s happening with the Tension rerelease? 2. Is there any place to buy the black vinyl version of the Body Language album yet? Not really interested in the red one. Thanks for any and all help!
  10. Okay it’s official: if Bonnie finds a way to get SGGH officially released she will be THE ultimate cult gay icon. She really has given the gays everything they could ever dream of with Hot City, going above and beyond even my wildest dreams.
  11. Stream Kesha’s new song too!
  12. I used to think that Bonnie wrote a ton of Kesha’s material like she did with Katy. I was shook when I found out she only did Cmon and Supernatural lol.
  13. Wasn’t Outlaw on the infamous Epic era whiteboard? Also could you please post the DGM performance for me? 🙏🏻
  14. Wait, did Soundtrack To The End leak?
  15. Which one do you think is better? I’m not really a fan of Sleepwalker in general, do you think I’d prefer the 2018 version more?
  16. Do you guys hear any differences between the Hot City version of Sleepwalker and the one she released in 2018? Someone on ATRL said there’s some differences in the mastering but I can’t hear anything.
  17. Awesome, I just looked it up. I don’t stream at all so I’m not used to the different features 💀 Who is this Dave The Doctor who’s credited on several songs? EDIT: Is it David Morup?
  18. Oh wow, thanks for this! So fascinating. Even tho the album has finally been released, it feels like there’s still so much mystery surrounding it. Also, how did you get these writing and producing credits if you don’t mind me asking?
  19. Honestly it’s my bad, I completely forgot about the first leaked demo 💀 I’m sorry if I came across as harsh, I just find this behind the scenes stuff so fascinating. I’d love to know exactly what Max Martin’s involvement with this song was, if there is any. And the second mix, which I’ve always called the final, actually IS a stem edit, but it’s pretty close to how the final is supposed to sound. I have the EBY recording sessions and it includes a mix down folder with the main studio mix, instrumental, acapella, etc. and the file in there is incredibly close to the second mix that leaked. It’s just missing a few harmonies during the chorus and bridge and some ad libs during the final chorus, but the instrumental is exactly the same.
  20. I’ve been wondering this as well. The only thing I can think is that it was too expensive to buy back both of them, so she went with American Girl since that was the official first single from Hot City and she wanted it to be part of the album.
  21. I’m assuming this is for the demo that leaked? I deleted that the second the final version leaked lmao. I can’t speak on the demo but the final version definitely has Max Martin’s touch on it, Bonnie mentioning the vocal stacking pretty much confirms it for me. That’s pretty much his signature “touch” when he works on a song.
  22. So I finally got around to listening to Hot City and here are some of my thoughts (that no one asked for 💀) - WHAT did she do to DGMGF? I was expecting the worst since I have no idea who Sophie Powers is, but her verse is amazing! And that rap verse that’s borderline awful but Bonnie still somehow makes it work? This is pop music at its best, ladies. - I’m still blown away by the sheer quality of this material. The fact that LA Reid/Epic couldn’t see the massive potential is extremely disappointing, there’s so many singles here to choose from. - Sleepwalker and (especially) Snatched sound way out of place. The latter isn’t a bad song but it doesn’t belong here. - Speaking of Sleepwalker, I’m still not a big fan of it or Stars In Your Heart. I think SIYH has potential to grow on me, but I would’ve loved to see two different songs in their places. - I don’t care what anyone says, Max Martin’s involvement is so obvious on the OG version of Everything But You. I can’t believe people on here believe he wasn’t involved with this track at all, especially since the released version is serving 1989 (Taylor’s Version) realness 💀 (and just so we’re perfectly clear, that’s a bad thing.) - What happened to IWCY? It lost all its punch and everything that made it such a gem. - Overall I prefer the OG versions of Slay (2020 mix specifically), IWCY, Electric Heaven, and EBY. I’m still on the fence with RYH. - On the other hand, Hot City, Jenny, DGMGF, and Forever 21 all received massive glow ups. Bonnie, I don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but I’m so incredibly proud of you for getting this out into the world. It’s such a perfect relic of everything that makes you so special. From irresistibly catchy pop hooks, fun music you can’t help but dance to, and scream along power pop choruses, there’s a reason you dominated the early 2010’s and if anyone tries to deny your massive talents, one listen to this album should set them straight. I can’t wait to see where you go from here; the world is your oyster.
  23. Yes! I’ve always loved this song, I even put it on my version of the Epic album. I’d love a finalized version of it. And this is why I purchased two copies of the album, been streaming it non stop since release day, and will purchase both a vinyl and CD when/if they come. Let’s all show Bonnie how much we appreciate what she’s doing by supporting her!
  24. Oh, Somebody’s Gonna Get Hurt… I’ll always feel a pang of sadness whenever I think of that song. I’m grateful we have the final version in lossless format, but it hurts knowing it was supposed to be a part of the original album and it ultimately couldn’t be released.
  25. I was reading through that AMA too and I noticed she made a comment about how EBY was so hard to re-record because it had a ton of vocal stacks, which gave me huge Max Martin teas. So if he was involved with the original version of the song he probably had something to do with the vocal production.
