    i dont really listen to him either and im pretty sure we dont hear his songs on the radio here in europe. but he seems to be a pretty big thing in the US? Take Your Time and some other songs of his seem to be doing well (looking at youtube views and spotify plays at least) and the dude was nominated for a grammy for best country album

    use more breath, especially in this song, lovesick begs to be airy and sensual. and you're singing it an octave lower than the original, you could try singing it in falsetto. with the previous advice still applying, your voice should feel like a fluffy cloud here. you're a bit offkey too, careful with that but please keep on working, i love the texture of ur voice
