I don’t think she will. After the market reaction to her two most recent singles, I think her label finally accept she has outgrown that style and are only now ready to let her travel further down her other more left of center, alt leaning musical path which many (including myself) have been crying out for her to revisit. Only her label were not planning on her going there so it’s taking a while to reset, recalibrate and to approach the music from a different angle.

I don’t agree with this statement at all. Keisha’s comment about it being a “gift to fans” was part of the promo for the track at its time of release. I’m talking about the longterm reaction to the song on various Sugababes threads on various pop forums across social media. It wasn’t even about the song being a “bop” or otherwise. As a song composition, the track is lackluster and lacking any sense of sparkle. If Keisha really had said in a “recent” interview any statement to the contrary (and by recent I mean after the single’s actual promotion) then she is sadly wrong and trying to place a positive spin on an otherwise negatively received track and I’m sure you would have linked to the article to which you refer as being recent and therefore out with the context of the single’s promo, if it existed It is sad that Stan culture is becoming prevalent on so many forums now that objective views are being labelled as lies by Stan’s intent on placing a false positive public relations spin on their faves activities and I say this as a longterm Sugababes fan (as opposed to a stan) who has been there since “Overload”.

Arrow - Shaznay Lewis (in potential conjunction with Biffco). Bye Bye - Katy B/ Geenius Fall from Grace - Katy B/ Geenius Take The Wheel (& Drive) - Naughty Boy [Speculated] There is no definitive word on who produced the other two, (however I suspect they are MKS co-writes with Biffco and potentially one other contributor).

It is my understanding they are aware “When the Rain Comes” was not as well received as they hoped it would be by the casuals they hope to attract to boost their streaming figures. This slight disappointment has had an unexpected benefit as it appears to have encouraged them to reconsider working with select producers whom 2.0/ 3.0 previously worked with during their commercial peak (though as yet there is zero solid word on whether Brian Higgins/ Xenomania are part of the picture or not).

Kylie (+ Dannii) Minogue | General Discussion Thread

Dannii is back in a video laced with Easter eggs: -
But not enough to like the post it seems.

Ice Spice has followed both Lana and Jack Antonoff on Instagram which has led to online speculation that Ice Spice may feature on a track from Lana’s next album. These rumours have met with a mixed reaction from Lana’s fanbase with some of the more negative reactions to this rumour having a slightly racist undertone.

Kylie (+ Dannii) Minogue | General Discussion Thread
Dax Diameter replied to Dax Diameter's topic in Jukebox
The Minogue sister with the widest vocal range has a new single “Thinking ‘Bout Us” (with Autone) scheduled for 9th Feb. It’s now looking even more likely Dannii will represent Australia with this track at Eurovision 2024: -
These are pictures of Lana promoting a clothing line by Kim Kardashian. I’m pretty convinced she’s wearing a wig but I like her look here. She looks ‘refreshed’ and has clearly made a personal choice to visibly reduce in size. I have always found Kim Kardashian to be a rather tacky individual and don’t feel she is a credible or appropriate person for Lana to cross pollinate her alt-singer brand with, unfortunately Lana seems to like her. perhaps by working with her, Lana is subtly shading her singing partner on “Snow on the Beach” (perhaps not).

Back when I wrote this I don’t think anyone believed she would sacrifice RnB in favor of heading back to the Dance-floor. I may not be loving the first single but I could not have manifested a better direction for her stylistically and as a European, dance music is catnip to me so I’m happy with the path she is taking us.

I’m curious how you discovered this album? I found it a few years ago and was low-key impressed with it. I know it’s Japanese but even some people I perceive to be hardcore K-Pop Stan’s (which I am not), who I assumed would somehow still know about it, had not even heard of it.

The first time I heard it I wasn’t sure about it, but the second time I realized it still pops off.

Red. I didn’t learn until after I had already given my Christmas list to my fam that the blue (1st anniversary edition) had a physical.
