I’m not sure if it’s been talked about before, but I’ve heard multiple times that Waking Up Diagonal is a stem edit. Why they didn’t just leak the stems is beyond me. Would love a producer export of that.

I actually think the one that leaked sounds more like a live performance than the Yahoo live one. The vocals sound like they're dripping down a wall, like drying paint. They sound very live, which will lead to my theory. The instrumentation is so, so raw. The "ooohs" aren't there either. 😭 (Which are the most catchy part of the song imo.) I'm pretty sure it was made using the recording session. It would explain why different vocal takes play over another and why it all around sounds so messy. Not even stems should sound like that. Plus would explain the rawness of the vocals because they weren't tuned.

JGAB is a real export, not tampered with like the last one. Worst In Me is an HQ non-myspace rip. The files that leaked are heavily messed with so thank you to James for sharing some higher quality versions! These are just previewers as he said anyways... so please chillax.

She is not including American Girl; she confirmed on TikTok. The legal stuff is that they need to clear her masters for release. She was talking about Waking Up Diagonal on a Podcast last week as if it died. I love both songs, but she is definitely not including either. And quite frankly, there is no reason for her to. That's how she operates, there might be a new trend for artists to re-record songs they wrote, but to her, WUD died the day it was released by Cheryl. It's a psychological thing. It didn't get to be her song in the first place.

Could somebody please take a stab at fixing the awful panning of Outlaw? I tried and miserably failed. In Outlaw every background vocal is very annoyingly panned to the left. Would be very appreciated!

So she might have had an album she felt was ready, but Epic did not agree. "I had a whole album finished and had plenty of songs I felt were singles, but I was told to go back and keep writing.." Bonnie really struggled with writer's block and Don't Get Mad and it's very evident. Even now she calls it a shit-show 😭 But yeah maybe! I assume that, or 'American Girl.' (I think Epic would've pushed for this.) - Def agree! I'm not sure if she can, though. Epic might own the trademark for 'American Girl' and 'Bonnie McKee' together. If she is really going with fan opinions, 'Electric Heaven' is by far the most popular. It packs a nice punch.

All makes sense, and I understand. Bad decision, legally. You'll notice most of the time, when people are dealing with legal issues, the bulk of it is kept behind the scenes. Saying too much would've put her in extreme jeopardy. She shut up a lot publicly and stopped teasing things with a tagline. (Soon, or whenever.) She would make a lot of vague statements as well. She finished the music video as well, and judging by her comments, the album will probably come out this year, which I believe showcases her dedication. Atp, she's got EVERYTHING to lose. She's been everywhere talking about this album, her new TikTok is doing very well by her own music talk standards, engagement at a high. One thing I did take note of is she got her masters for the Epic songs back/started reworking shit in 2020. That's when we got that draft. This is the same year she planned to put out the new dark album, but paraphrasing, she said something along the lines of she didn't wanna occupy space with her 'white girl problems?' So maybe she switched to the Epic album then? The new one is very dark and personal, and Epic is very poppy. Me too! She should have a whole era with this album.
