You're welcome ! I don't have that one, but hopefully someone who has it will be willing to share 😉

Trouble (demo): https://dbree.org/v/70cbf6 22nd Century: https://dbree.org/v/625623 Not sure which song is All Yours 😅
-
I'd love that to be true, but it seems unlikely to me. Imo, a video would've been made IF Epic greenlit the single release, but they shut it down before it even made it on the radio. 😔
-
I don't think she shot any music videos for the obvious singles from the scrapped Epic EP because she was so busy touring and had to pay all the expenses herself. I'm sure there are unreleased music videos for other songs though (in the vein of the "Mine" video, i.e. amateur music videos she did for fun with random LA directors or ex-boyfriends who knew how to use a camera).
-
Haha I missed that Thank you for the laugh
-
It's still up on dbree but disguised as Forever 21 as it was leaked on April 1st (and what an iconic way to leak it lol). https://dbree.org/v/473e4c

Self-aware kweens! Imagine a Bonnie X Kim Petras X Sky Ferreira collab debuted/performed live and then never released.
-
I cackled when I saw her liking this on Instagram. Looks like even she can recognize a fellow sista in distress.
-
You know what, I ain't even mad at u girls fighting... it's probably the most interesting Bonnie-related thing since she woke up and started randomly liking and replying to comments asking for the Epic album. Thank you @jamesmax for feeding all the Bon Bons. I wish we didn't have to struggle so much to hear new music from her, but it is what it is. We stan a compulsive liar who can't get nothing right (anyone can tell you), misses like every flight, and all her bills are past due. Edit: We made it to 300 pages!!! Not bad for a popstar whose career is completely dead who is now housebound, wasting money on random photoshoots, and who thinks she'll still make it as as an indie film director/actress with her atrocious work ethic.

Feed us something we're starved to death

There's still some songs she wrote during the LVCRFT sessions registered on her ASCAP/BMI that are currently unreleased, e.g. Queen of Halloween. So there's some chance we'll hear that if they release a new album. Besides that, I'm not getting my hopes up and I'm mentally preparing myself for no new music. No problem! 🙂
-
It's almost like she squandered all her money and can't even afford a meal at Chick-fil-A, so she's relying on the LVCRFT songs to delay the envitable. I'm sure she doesn't have to fund any of the LVCRFT tracks out of her own pocket, nor does she have to pay for the rights or releases. Too bad nobody knows about her involvement because she's either completely uncredited or she's called Evil McQueef or whatever. ....and to think she even failed at that because she didn't want to spend any coin on releasing a new single in 3 years
-
I'm cackling Imagine being the writer of Teenage Dream and Hold It Against Me, as well as the artist that's released American Girl only to end up promoting some cheesy Halloween music and making short videos about what it was like writing for Katy Perry as a songwriter in your prime 13+ years into your career. On the bright side, there's nowhere left to go but up from here because this is literally rock bottom.
-
Bonnie reuploaded the Femme Fatale TikTok on her Instagram and she's promoting the LVCRFT song on which she sings a small part in her stories. In other words.... Her career is DEAD.

I'm on it. Unreleased songs only right? WIthout the ones that have been leaked or officially released?😉 It's really not cute anymore. I wish there was an option to delete all the fake uploads because it's just messing her dbree catalogue up.
-
I laughed at the Armond Rizzo snippet but it's getting tiring... I wish someone would hack into Bonnie's PC again specifically looking for the Forever 21 file just so we can move on with our lives and live happily ever after
-
Well seeing how she's doing photoshoots every day I wouldn't worry too much about that Imo, she just doesn't want it badly enough. If she REALLY wanted to put out these songs we would've been streaming them right about now already. I'm not even that mad about it as much as I resent her for not communicating though. WHY can she not address this stuff in a simple tweet or an Instagram post?
-
Besides, any human being with ears and some modicum of taste should be able to make the right decision and either scrap Thorns entirely or just have it be a cute album track moment - the fact she was building an entire era and visuals around such an underwhelming song makes me concerned (even if the era dissipated at the Speed of Light.mp3). I'd love to know what was going through her mind after she wrapped up the Bombastic era because the EP was such a strong body of work and really had me excited/hungry at the prospect of a full-length record in that sort of style, but the quality of her music took a nosedive from 2017 onwards (excluding Lonely for You) even if some of the leaks recorded around that time were awesome. I also like Die Happy, though really none of the new songs are comparable to her Epic stuff in catchiness and quality. And if she does write a genuinely great pop song these days she just sells it to like Ava Max right away and then there's nothing left for her?
-
I think most of the confusion stems from her telling different things to different people. I've only ever heard her bring up the masters situation once in a podcast from 2021 and the way she worded things made it seem like she owned them right after leaving Epic because she was able to negotiate some deal with them. Also, her not having the 'rights' to the songs was something she supposedly said at some point during live streams, but as I do not follow those and it's impossible to find them I really can't confirm that. I lowkey think her friends want to sabotage her sometimes because Thorns was SO NOT a lead single material. The only good advice they ever gave her was to put Easy on the Bombastic EP as she apparently had some doubts about including it, but her friends loved it. Btw, not sure if this is a well-known factoid, but I Want It All is actually a much much older song than the rest of the tracks on Bombastic. "I Want It All is actually an older song, I wrote it about.. maybe 6 years ago, um, and it was kind of forgotten on a hardrive somewhere for a long time, and when I wrote Bombastic and that was kinda the song I wanted to base the EP around I was like what else do I have in this vein, like, what other more like kinda rock n roll songs with teeth do I have, and I dug that one up; I wrote it with Greg Kurstin and Oligee from Oliver, and... it's actually a song about.. I wrote it when I was like signing a bunch of deals with like, you know, different corporations and publishers and stuff, and the first line is 'I would make a deal with the Devil, turn my heart into metal just to get to you' and the second verse says 'I would cut like a razor, sign in blood on the paper just to get to you' and it's a song to my fans. It's about how I basically sold my soul for rock n roll and I would do anything to get to my audience because I need them - I need that audience." - Bonnie McKee, July 2015

--- Sorry this was an error lol

Her lack of communication and outright complacentness really makes me feel like she doesn't deserve any of us. The only thing I'm getting from following her is endless frustration.
-
Very much this. Ngl, I did believe her... or at the very least I had some faith in her taking advantage of the circumstances which were quite favorable this time around. Most countries are getting rid of the pandemic restrictions and things are slowly but surely returning back to normal, there was the momentum with the leaks which sparked some much needed interest in her music again (as many of you have already mentioned), she also got her name in the headlines thanks to April (as in the short film) and the positive reception it's amassed. It's very clear to me she's had a change of heart (for the billionth time!) though because the silence truly is deafening. At the risk of sounding like a Broken Record.mp3 -- if she had ANY intention of releasing music this summer she would've already started promoting... Last year, she was doing podcasts and video interviews everywhere, now? I'm sorry but her songwriting TikToks and Jessica Rabbit tributes hardly count as promo. I don't know what her plan is, but the chances of her dropping the album are very very slim right now.
-
Honestly, between Bonnie McScheme, Kim Petras, and Sky Ferreira I can't quite decide who is the worst. Making empty promises, teasing stuff, and then switching into silence mode for the rest of the year seems like the thing to do these days? But, like, WHY? What are these girls gaining from teasing stuff only to never deliver? WHAT is holding them back from doing their job? With Kim, I can see the whole Dr. Luke drama adversely affecting the album release; Sky lacks support from her label and releasing music with Capitol seems to be a Herculean task for her... she also has a bunch of health issues? For Bonnie, I guess it's the money? She's pushing 40 and wants to reinvent herself as an actress/director, so I guess pouring money into an album 10 gheyz would buy doesn't seem like a lucrative investment to her.
-
It's really quite tragic. At this point I'm fully convinced she's given up on being a pop star and is fully content with penning a song here and there for other people and doing random photoshoots nobody asked for at her house. Can't wait for another podcast in 2023 where she'll go off on a tangent about how she's been sitting on a ton of music and how she's definitely planning to release something in summer.
