Welp, What's It Gonna Take.mp3 for Bonnet to start releasing her own music. We're only surviving on leaks because there's literally no other option as she never delivers on any of her promises. I get that the road to releasing her Epic material was/is complicated and bumpy, but to think we literally had to assemble the entire Thorns EP from leaks 5 years since she put out the song is a proof she has issues. I love and admire her not just as an artist but as a person as well, and it sucks because she could've been collecting ridiculous amount of coin from all these songs and building more vaults for her private parties but in the end it's her choice. The demand was there, the fan base was thirsty for it, and what other fandom is willing to wait nearly a decade to hear new music??? So thank you to all the people who are sharing and let's keep them coming now that we know Right Now, Electric Heaven (Final), SLAY (final) and I Wanna Fucking Call You (unbotched) are making the rounds.
-
The cherry on top would be to get Electric Heaven (final/reworked), I Wanna Fucking Call You with the vocal stems set up correctly, and Worst in Me (reworked). All of these are just more icing on the cake. The remainder of the cake is Show Me Your Love and Right Now, yes. If I had to choose between the two, I'd prefer to have Right Now but I'm grateful for every single leak. 100% We've been oppressed long enough.
-
I cannot with y'all snapping and sharing everything!!!! Let's cancel all the hoarders Right Now and Show Me Your Love next!!

How do y'all Bonnie McKee pundits feel about the 2022 VHS order of the Epic songs? Slay Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt American Girl Sleepwalker Forever 21 Hot City I Wanna Fucking Call You Rewind Your Heart Everything But You Electric Heaven I can stomach Slay as the album opener; Sleepwalker as track 4 followed by Forever 21 also isn't that controversial to me as that's the exact same order in which she performed these live at a few events, but giving EBY the penultimate slot doesn't sit well with me especially given how close in sound it is to American Girl (I'd place EBY somewhere at the beginning in close proximity to American Girl). SGGH as track 2 seems SO random. Electric Heaven *could* work as the album closer depending on the reworked version's production/sound. For some reason, I personally wouldn't choose to end the album with a dramatic upbeat song, but that could be remedied by adding Stars in Your Heart after it. I wonder if she ordered the songs this way because the visuals follow a cohesive storyline/plot and the actual album tracklist will differ... she's definitely including Wild Card and possibly a few other songs we might've not heard before (fingers crossed for a reworked Worst in Me, reproduced Jenny, and updated Sexin' U).
-
Btw, @Ice Prince your final Sexin' U mix is better than s3x. What an impeccable masterpiece.

So beautifully put and I teared up a little while reading because it's insane how we all have that shared memory of finding out about American Girl, the disappointment that followed when the album got scrapped, and ultimately all the stuff inbetween that lead us to meet each other here. I'll never forget that iconic summer in 2013!!! Do you guys think it's hard to go on living (as a musician) knowing you created one of the finest pop records of all time brimming with gigantic hits (Forever 21, Hot City, Everything But You), yet you never got to have your Katy Perry moment? Especially when you perservered through all the initial setbacks, obstacles, failures, put in the hard work and all that. Bonnie had the exact same trajectory as Katy, Gaga, and Lana (i.e. got signed at a young age, put out a commercial flop, had her second album shelved and subsequently got dropped from the label)--it's just that Katy/Gaga/Lana managed to bounce back before they reached their mid 20s whereas Bonnie was past the age when pop girls are most marketable (we love an ageist industry) and due to writing songs for Katy/Kesha the public came to associate quote unquote Bonnie's style with those girls. I still think that even if she released Roar in 2014 it would've flopped... the public just wasn't willing to embrace another girl serving pure pop, especially one that didn't get to establish herself before turning 30 and close-minded people judged her harshly for that (remember all those comments under the American Girl music video talking about how she's desperate/should act her age etc??). Looking back, it makes me feel so sad and devastated for her.
-
I love how consistent you are with Unlock Your Flop Girl, I love you, but you know that song's spot could've been taken by I Don't Care (Bonnie's Version) as it should! So then you could use Sleepwalker as track 14 Besides that you have a flawless tracklist and I can respect your decision to place F21 as the album closer altho I use My So-Called Life for that because I wanted to have a lil cute uptempo ballad moment and I feel like it's a pretty authentic potrayal of her stage in life and overall character in that point in time. Almost has that somewhat nostalgic Wasted Youth quality to it but not as depressing. Forever 21 achieves the same thing.
-
The sheer genius of the end of Forever 21 fading into Hot City, this transition alone deserves a Grammy As for Sleepwalker being on the album, I can def see that!! Yeah, I think had Floppic allowed the release back in 2014 they'd most likely whore Sleepwalker out as a bonus track (Target/International/Japan/Taiwan...) along with Stars in Your Heart. Given all the time that's passed since then and given how we all tend to tie Sleepwalker to the Epic era, it'd make zero sense for Bonnie to leave it out. I wonder if she decided to get rid of Jenny since JGAB wasn't on any of the VHS tapes (but then.... she also didn't have a VHS tape for Wild Card which I'm sure she's including).

This is so SURREAL who thought we'd ever get to experience the full studio deliciousness of Forever twenty fvcking one!! What a glorious day to be a BonBon 🍬 I feel the years of pure torture and pain dissipating as I overplay this legendary classic and pop music masterpiece.... Feel free to continue mixing and throwing parties until the 2100s Ms. McQuiche (and troll us with some Evil McQueef LVCRFT bops in the meantime). The cherry on top would be if Electric Heaven (2022 Version) leaks as well, but that's just my OCD speaking because we only have the rough version of EH and I can't possibly put that one along with the other somewhat finished sounding tracks. Regardless, I'm totally fed right now.mp3 Will I still purchase the album IF she ever releases it? Yes. Multiple copies (digital, physical), a vinyl, possibly a forever 21/slay jockstrap if she makes one. This album is an absolute gem and everything an early 2010s gay could ask for. It quite possibly even surpasses Teenage Dream in my book--because Bonnie's Epic album has no dull moments and zero filler. It's all bop overdose.
-
The word on the street is that it's out there, which is great news considering it looked like our only option was to wait until 2066 for Bonnie to finish mixing the already fully finished, mixed and mastered tracks.
-
Like we're Forever 21 Tragically delicious and feelin alright. They can say whatever but we'll keep livin life, like we're...
-
Lmao, indeed, her iconic shady attitude came through for sure and I'm glad you picked up on it as well It's kinda crazy how she can appear so tough and deliver such great responses when dealing with hyenas like Harvey, yet we know she's very fragile and sensitive on the inside. One of the reasons why I always supported her. She is a good person and I hate she has had to go through so much public humiliation and pain.
-
At this point I say DO leak Forever 21. It's the last song that was definitely going to be a single and we can't print our bootleg albums without it missing. Wild Card sounds cute, but we already have the essentials sans F21. Once we have that she can mix the album until 2062 for all I care, but we got the original version we should'be been got ages ago. Also, huge THANKS to whoever leaked Dirty Laundry. Even if it's not fully finished (like Die Happy) it gives us the full Thorns EP and that's a dream I never thought I'd get to see fulfilled. Another unsolved piece of history finally brought to an end. Why God blessed a woman with zero responsibility and a complete lack of professionalism with so much talent I'll never know. Even if the 2022 version of the Epic album were to leak today, it still wouldn't force her to rush release it. She'd most likely go silent and throw a private party to perform all the songs she won't be releasing.
-
If all she does for American Girl's single/video anniversary is some lame TikTok video "remember when I got all my A-list celeb friends lip-syncing to my song" then that will pretty much solidify she'll never get this project off the ground. First it was coming in summer 2022, then it was sooner than you think and mixing the album as I'm making up all these lies on the spot.... I don't believe her. Ms. Bonsai really is the type of girl that needs an oppressive label with concrete deadlines otherwise she turns a simple pop album into a lifetime work and overthinks it all beyond the limits of sanity.
-
He's so blatantly and unashamedly thirsty for some D and I'm here for it!
-
Welp, another day another lack of any concrete info regarding new official releases. The realization we've managed to assemble multiple studio albums over the course of the past two years from leaks and scraps alone while she's struggling to release one album that was already fully finished, mixed, and ready for printing back in 2014....💀 Can't wait for all the recently recorded songs to start leaking so we can make some Mad Mad World era EPs and possibly get the new record she said she was dropping this year because y'all know damn well she ain't dropping 💩. I don't understand why she can't give an actual release date, there's no excuse for it. She's already announced the album and threw a listening party. Why keep all of us in a constant state of suspense and doubt? This isn't hype. Hype would happen if she finally said "the album is coming on August 24, 2022 -- pre-order S.L.A.Y. (coming July 23!)" -- done. No confusion, no uncertainty, possibly even less leaks because we'd know exactly when we're gonna get fed.
-
It does sound ancient, although I think it was definitely written for the second Warner album or at the very least around the time she wrote To Find You and Love Spell. And to think it was considered for the Epic album.... I wonder what an updated version of it would sound like 😭
-
Yaaasss but why is Mirage not on it? EDIT: btw, isn't it crazy this girl would have a very solid discography by now had things ever gone right for her? 1. Trouble 2. 2nd Warner album (which I think is safe to say would've been called Teenage Heart) 3. Epic album 4. Bombastic - EP 5. Thorns EP 6. 2018 album 7. 2022 new album
-
Not all the BonBons literally dragging her scrapped pre-Epic album from encrypted databases by the weave, yet she's partying with her friends at her private listening parties. And yeah, kinda over her SM responses which seem to confirm every song is a single, every song has a music video, and she's putting out two full-length studio albums this year -- all with NO promo, NO public appearances, and NO tour. We love a girl that is a dreamer, who likes to dream a lot.
-
I'd love it if she did something like what SNSD did with Dancing Queen where they literally roll the clock back to 2008. Also we stan a self-aware McKween! Anyone noticed there's no Thorns tape in the vault??
-
I'm using Whiteboard (2022 Version) as the placeholder track list for now
-
Wait aren't those VHS tapes??? And since she has her entire videography in the left pile, and American Girl + Sleepwalker are included with the rest of the Epic songs makes me think Ms. McKink is pulling a Beyoncé and putting out a visual album
-
It sounds like a finalized and well-polished version of the song from the now legendary live performance. Here's hoping we get the glorious guitar breakdown The vocals also sound smoother like the transitions are more seamless Anyway her throwing listening parties for her L.A. friends while paying the fan base complete and utter DUST on the 4th of July of all days is such a Bonnie thing to do EDIT: Glad she's didn't completely re-do the production and we will be getting the sound we're all used to

Sooner than any of us think
