For y'all who hate the muffled verses on the 2019/2020 final S.L.A.Y. as much as I do I made an edited version using the final 2014 version and blended its verses with the Firebirds one. It's not perfect by any means and all audiophiles will complain, but it's better than listening to the original leak imo. https://onlyfiles.io/f/96c4693c430b49ee8759abc806701296

Ahhhh PHF's secret server strikes again. All righty then, updated the list with S.L.A.Y.'s 2014 1999 Demo and RSVP. Also split Hot City and Rewind Your Heart into demo and final subsections as well. You know, the 2014 1999 demo of S.L.A.Y. will always be the definitive version for me, sounds so much better without the unnecessary distortion effect put on her vocals during the verses and firebirds (no offence to anyone who likes that line). I love RSVP's chorus btw

Y'all the RSVP that's up on dbree is clearly a troll upload. It's one of those horrendous ARK Music Factory songs

Aww I love how supportive you are, makes me so happy the list is still useful for y'all π Yaaaassss I'd DIE if we got to hear Bonnie's version because the song is a BAWP! And you know, as I was editing the list and going through all the songs that have leaked I had the realization just how insane it is we've reached this point. Like, just a couple of years ago no one dared to dream of having all these bops, let alone the majority of her Epic songs--yet here we are! It's huge. OMG when?? Are you sure? I know RIP leaked, but I didn't know RSVP did too Yeah, afaik the only collabs between Bonnie and RedOne that we know about (since they're registered on her BMI) are Ready / Ready 2 Love (= unreleased Sean Paul song) and Touch n Go. Besides those two, it doesn't look like she worked with him on more songs.

I love that you stan SoL and lowkey I bop to it as well, but the lyrics give very much 'quick lil cash in on the side so I can finance my over-the-top Tik Tok short film' π Never thought I'd settle for a demo over a final version, but I guess I'll be making an exception with Slay Awwww thank you!!! It's always great to know someone else shares my sentiments hahaπ And you're totally right ππ Still, I'm not feeling it. The imagery of a phoenix is cute, but it just doesn't do it for me

Welp,, the final mix of S.L.A.Y. AND in such a great quality at that, too???? THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing. (Ngl though, not sure how I feel about the muffled vocals during the verses and the "this is our universe, feeling flier than fireworks" lmao I know the entire song is cheesy and camp, but this is pushing it into the Speed of Light "dancing with the dark side" territory π€£). I've officially given up on her releasing the album, btw. We're at the end of August--no single, no music video, no album, and perhaps most importantly crickets and zero communication from ha. I'm done.

Hey welcome to the biggest BonBon fan forum @Jennys Girlfriend (that Bonnie never mentions and willingly chooses to ignore ) Ummmmmmmm...... First of all, Ms. McScheme looks gorgeous and I felt relieved to see her without the anime eyes filter. She's a beautiful woman and doesn't need any of that silly stuff to highlight that or make her look like she's "down with" what the kids are doing on TikTok. What I feel concerned about is that the way she talks about the Epic material is almost like she'd abandoned it after leaving the label and it was this 'newfound interest in the songs' TikTok has brought that made her open the vault which is so inaccurate it's crazy. We've been asking for those songs ever since 2013, this isn't some recent fad that only started because she made a TikTok account--you can look up any Bonnie McKee-related video on YouTube or scroll down the posts on her IG and people are consistently demanding S.L.A.Y., Hot City, IWFCY... you name it. It's been going on since 2014, ever since she released Bombastic and people were confused why she's not releasing the songs she was promoting and that everybody loved. I was also happy to hear she's considering putting out a compilation of some of her pitches for other artists (i.e. something akin to Sia's This Is Acting)--I'd kill for a finalized DNA or I Dare You. Knowing her, her worth ethic, and how much time it takes her to get things done I don't believe this will ever make it past the idea stage though. It's also frustrating to hear how she keeps changing the narrative. In a podcast from a while ago she clearly stated she owns ALL the masters to her Epic songs and she was just trying to figure out how to deliver those songs so they wouldn't fall on deaf ears. Now we're back to "there's some legal stuff that needs to be taken care of"? Guuuuurrrrl No wonder we have trust issues.

Ok girls sorry for going McKee on ya for the last couple of days, I'm editing the long post with Bonnie's discography and including all of @jamesmax 's expert notes that they kindly supplied me with. Lots of cool info. As for the album release, I'm over it. She's not releasing it. And she's not a smart businesswoman--if she was, she'd do an EP and put all the songs she can legally release atm, while saving all the other songs that need to be cleared for later. I bet S.L.A.Y. is one of the songs she can't put out hence why she's using the "currently mixing it/editing the MV/uploading it on YT for y'all" excuse. I'll just accept this wasn't meant to be from now on (and it's really easy to do because the songs are out there and they're all bound to leak eventually).

Please do. I've spent over an hour going through the last 50 pages of this thread and meticulously read every post of people chiming in with what they know in terms of years/writers. Some of it might've been speculation, but you saying "many mistakes" does make me concerned.

I'm so sorry girlies I missed so much stuff (and yet Bonnie hasn't done anything noteworthy besides self-harm to delay things some more). My dead-end job don't make me smile My thoughts exactly!!!! Probably one of the biggest slays in terms of song transitions and I'm calling out @Ice Prince for relegating Forever 21 to a closing track and breaking the Holy Trinity of slayage on his edition. OMG THANK YOU. I've submitted numerous corrections in the past and they always remainded submissions because THAT ONE PERSON refuses to acknowledge other people's edits. Seriously who are they? That twink registers all unreleased songs before they even leak just to make sure they have complete control over any future edits π Lowkey wonder HOW they think anyone will have any respect for them and/or their careers with this kind of attitude. No wonder Bonnie and Sky are leaking left and right. Once the gheys get fed up, your hard drives are in danger, gurls. At least with Kim Petras we know it's the label that's responsible for stupid delays and songs not being released, but with Bonnie/Sky the problem is literally just them...

Britney Planning Musical Comeback Next Month With Elton John
Bambi101 replied to Main Pop Girl's topic in Entertainment News
I had no idea about the Elton/Dula Peepa song but that's cuz I'm currently living under a rock and only check for Bonnie news online π This sounds like a great way to start a new chapter in her music career and it's a great opportunity for reinvention as well. Us Britneystas always knew girl can absolutely belt out a song and serve powerhouse vocals! Now it's so blatantly clear team Cship not only took away her voice in terms of her being able to speak her mind, but they also made it a point to literally mute her mic so she can't express herself artistically. I KNOW that whatever she's going to do music-wise from now on (on her own terms), she's gonna SLAY. -
I'd literally start cackling so hard if she went on some random podcast and told the same old dramatic story about how she was supposed to be the next Madonna, but the world and everyone was against her. Girl, the only one you can blame is yourself. Sure, she was young and inexperienced when she was under Warner, and Epic was foul for pulling the plug on the album just because she wasn't doing the same numbers as one of the biggest pop stars at the time, but once she went independent it was her one chance to show all the people that didn't believe in her that they were wrong. The only thing she's proved (and is proving right now) is that maybe they made the right choice to let her go. EDIT: Bombastic was a great moment and I'm proud of her for giving us that era, but everything after that is almost like she checked out. The music was bland, the releases became infrequent, and her constant teasing and promises damaged her relationship with the fans.
-
At this rate they're never coming out. Let's be real she can't even put out ONE single that's been mastered, mixed, ready for radio, and possibly remastered at least 3 times since 2014. There's no excuse anymore, she just doesn't care anymore and neither do I.
-
This biatch really took a break after we've gone thru several nervous breakdowns and double majored in audio engineering and Bonnie McKee studies. She's not putting out anything, she just doesn't have the work ethic and drive needed to Make It Happen.mp3. Enjoy your life Bonnie, hope all the Katy Perry checks keep you afloat, secured, and help you maintain the budget to fund your nonsensical private parties and indie shorts. Please, to all the leakers/song traders just leak the rest of her shit. She said 'this summer' and we're getting the album either from her or we're grabbing it from the black market.
-
@BonnieLeakz don't fail us and deliver on your promise pleaseeeeeee SLAY (1999 Version) Do save your reputation! Nothing petty about stating facts!!! If someone told me your Electric Heaven was the original upload, and the one of messy quality a ruined reupload I'd have believed it. You really did a digital CPR on that one. Iconic post!!! And exactly, haven't Bon Bons suffered enough? The world's gone thru a literal apocalypse yet we're still here asking for scraps OMG I'M SHOOK. I actually thought Rewind Your Heart was one of the most polished tracks of the bunch along with Everything But You (Final). Didn't know someone messed around with it so bad. The awful reverb applied to the vocals was among the first botched things I noticed (the lead vocals are also too loud imo). Initially, I just assumed it's because it's unfinished and possibly a rough demo so I let it slide because I was so thirsty for the studio version in any way, shape, or form. Now I realize we've all accepted a homophobic crime of a mix. Do you think the reworked/updated/reproduced/rerecorded versions of Mirage and Hitman actually exist?
-
Just a regular reminder we need these to leak for this tragic and frustrating chapter of our lives to fully come to an end (from most urgent to least urgent): Right Now --> she's not including this one but it's an important callback to 2013 Puke/Cirkut production magic Electric Heaven (Final) --> we deserve to have this one in better quality with polished production y'all I Wanna Fucking Call You (Final without botched vocal stems) S.L.A.Y. (1999 Version) Worst in Me (Reworked Epic Version) Turn Me Up (Demo for Carly Rae Jepsen) Show Me Your Love (apparently this is another slow piano ballad and I'd rather have any of the songs above)
-
Imo, the reason why Epic was so hard on her in 2014 was because the music market was sooooo oversaturated with successful women (Kesha was in her prime, Katy as well, Gaga, Rihanna, and many others). They knew she needed a massive (potentially viral) hit akin to Call Me Maybe to firmly establish herself. She semi-delivered on the viral part with American Girl, but for reasons I still don't fully understand the stars just didn't align themselves for American Girl to at least reach the top 10 in the US (though that still wouldn't cut it, Epic wanted a #1 hit). Had American Girl been released in 2012 it would've had a better chance at success, but with Lorde starting the indie craze and radio shifting away from pop to alternative I guess it makes sense why the song underperformed. SLAY wouldn't have remedied that and sadly neither would Forever 21, not during that climate. However, in 2021 we saw (and in 2022 we're still seeing) this resurgence of nostalgia for the 80s and 90s, city pop, and ultimately early 2000s which imo is very opportune for Bonnie because songs like Hot City and Forever 21 won't sound dated at all. With Katy unable to chart with anything she makes and Kesha rebranding herself as a paranormal series host, she also doesn't have to worry about competing with them / the public making comparisons, so this is a golden opportunity for the GP to finally see Bonnie for who she is. Girl Right Now is literally like 5 songs from 2011, 2012, and 2013 mashed together into one π I mean, the bridge is a blatant ripoff of C'Mon's (it even has the phrase 'Right Now' in it ). Then I'm hearing a little bit of Hangover by Taio Cruz (also a Luke/Cirkut production) (it's more obvious if you play it at 0.75 speed on YouTube). Well and then you have Masquerade by Nicki Minaj which also uses 'Right Now' multiple times during the chorus OVERALL though, I think she based it mostly on Eye of the Tiger which she also said inspired her to write Roar.
-
Imo she means well and in her mind all those songs she knows we want and love she will put out WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT. And that's what's holding her back because she's so particular about all the things that have to fall in place for the ideal release climate, instead of just saying fuck it and making peace with the fact she could face a commercial failure even with kickass material. I agree about her attitude/approach alienating the already (very strong/devoted but) small fan base she has. Instead of caving in and sparing all of our time by delivering the music, she's made us wait over a decade and the chances of her being successful are getting slimmer and slimmer every year. A pop star in her late 30s/early 40s CAN still be successful and receive acclaim... Janet Jackson, Britney, Madonna, JLo are all a living proof it's totally doable; the difference is they have years worth of music and a legacy. Sure, Bonnie has that too, but it's all songs that have leaked and the public has zero clue about that. Just think about how iconic SLAY could've been back in 2014 when the 1999 line wasn't overused to death and slay wasn't household slang. Bonnie was the first pop girl to tailor a whole A-grade bop around the word! Even if we do get the song now, she's already missed that golden window of opportunity for it to be truly special. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason she's dragging this out so much. In my mind, she's very much aware of exactly what we want. She didn't make a VHS tape for Thorns for the 'Bonnie McKee Vault' because she knows it's her least popular release (although it has a special place in our heart for that reason), also noticed how we only got videos of her dancing to American Girl, SLAY, and Hot City at the listening party?? She must've played more songs like Forever 21 (which hadn't leaked yet at the time the videos taken at her party started surfacing) or the final version of Electric Heaven. So she knew exactly what songs had leaked and which we hadn't heard yet and made sure she wouldn't spoil the unleaked ones. The most annoying thing about her entire act is the lack of honesty, transparency, and communication tho. If she kept things real and said "there's been some setbacks and so the single isn't coming until early September" I'd have so much more respect for her than when she keeps leading us on and keeps giving us false hope. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Ok, and this is a bit random, and I might've brought it up few pages back but anyone else realized Bonnie's songwriting M.O. sorta is to take a hit song during whatever time period she's working on music in and then rewrite it to create a new song? I'm sure this is extremely common, but it's funny how so many of the 2013-2014 Epic tracks resemble other songs that received heavy rotation some years prior. To give a few examples (some of them might be reaching while others are a perfect match): 1. S.L.A.Y. --> Perfect Day (Hoku); SLAY's tempo is just a tiny bit slower 2. American Girl --> Teenage Dream (Katy Perry); this one's obvious, there's also Good Time (CRJ feat. Owl City) which curiously enough came out a year before AG did 3. Hot City --> Can't Get Over (September); Hot City just lacks the epic key change during the last chorus which I'd live for! 4. Forever 21 --> Break Your Heart (Taio Cruz); again, Bonnie's just slowed things down but the instrumental is so similar, then I hear some similarity between All That She Wants by Ace of Base and the F21 verses 5. I Wanna Fucking Call You --> Breathless (The Corrs) From the leaks: Femme Fatale --> very much gives Turn Me On (Nicki Minaj feat. David Guetta) and Only Girl (Rihanna) Guilty Pleasure --> Sexy Bitch (Akon feat. David Guetta) + Selfish (Britney Spears) Yes! I'm on it. Don't worry. Lots of new stuff to add.

Besides there being something wrong with Esther I've always wondered what her end game was cuz it seems like she always wants to kill the wife and the rest of the children, but then tries to seduce the husband. If all she's after is a sugar daddy just make an OF account girl and you'd have an infinite pool to choose from + money pouring in.
-
I love the reality check y'all are serving! Very refreshing and much needed after all of our collective delusion due to her incessant trolling this year. Her editing the SLAY video is the new "mixing/polishing the album as we speak" and soon she'll say she made up her mind and is making every song a single and is "editing/polishing music videos for all the songs on the album" which means she'll postpone the release until summer 2023. On the rare occasion she snaps and does release something she'll inevitably pull the plug on the project because in her mind she'd love every song to go viral and to have a Teenage Dream type of album cycle. I wonder when she'll realize we've perfected our Lie Detector.mp3 by now, and we know all her tricks. Also, the SLAY slander really does needs to stop. Indeed, the cheerleader spelling bee anthemic pageantry + the 1999 line and then the heart-felt emotional bonfire acoustic sing-along rendition???? It's all camp, 110% Bonnie, and had it been released by any other A-list pop gurls y'all would've eaten it up no crumbs left
-
Well this settles it then, we ain't getting no album y'all .....S.L.A.Y. (self-edited music video) coming September/October and then it's crickets and April Kills the Vibe sequel teasing Thank God for all those twink hackers who got her songs from her hard-drive/encrypted databases because y'all know in your heart we'd never hear Forever 21 if it wasn't for the black market trading.
-
Welp girls, this album's rollout is already a M.E.S.S. and she hasn't even put out the first single yet. "next couple of weeks" essentially translates to next couple of months in Bonnielese. She'll release the video in mid September if I'm optimistic, but seeing how Sky Ferreira's been editing her Don't Forget video for ages now (and it's most likely scrapped) I'm not holding out much hope. Props to her for doing things HERSELF this time around tho, whether it's editing or mixing.... I'm proud of her for not using boyfriends and stuff and being a strong self-reliant woman instead. It's very telling we're nearing the end of July (aka Bonnie's most potent month) and she's suffering from selective mutism again. Some shit has gone down hence the silence. Don't think she has anything planned for August either. We're definitely not getting the album this year As I said, S.L.A.Y. music video incoming near the end of September if we're lucky. See, but her whole thinking is wrong. Like, songs that went on to become HUGE hits have leaked before. Bad Romance and Alejandro for example. Imagine if Gaga snapped and pulled the plug on those. But no, instead, she thanked the fans for liking demos in shitty quality so much and said the polished versions are even better, then actually delivered on her promise like a mere month later. I know Gaga was an artist in her peak during that time and was signed to a major label that showered her with budget and support which is completely different from Bonnie's situation, but hey, even if Bonnie was under Interscope her songs (no matter how incredible) simply wouldn't do the numbers she thinks she deserves. And yes, she does deserve big numbers, but she needs to stay realistic with her expectations and stop equating poor chart performance with the songs leaking.

I completely forgot about Restless because I scrapped it from the album and moved it to a random folder π Just put it back on my version of the Epic record, and most likely placing it before or after Rewind Your Heart. Up to Me sounds like it could be a feel-good A-grade bop if she rerecorded it and polished the vocals Electric is SOOOO GOOD OMFG I'm offering a free blow/hand/rim-job to anyone that leaks SLAY (final version) And to recapitulate, we're missing: Right Now Show Me Your Love Turn Me Up (Carly Rae Jepsen demo) I Wanna Fucking Call You (with the vocals fixed) S.L.A.Y. (Final/1999 Version) Electric Heaven (Final) The Hunger
