Considering she's had... almost 10 years to plan this... why does everything seem so last minute?

Yeah, it would be one thing if she were to actually give us a RELEASE DATE… but the constant empty promises (“it’s coming soon!!!” “Sooner than u think!!!” “Polishing it up for u right now!!”) are exhausting. Considering we’re halfway through July, she hasn’t even announced / started teasing the first single, and she’s gone silent on social media to go be a groupie on her bf’s tour… we def ain’t getting the album this summer.

Thank you to everyone for the latest leaks! "What's it Gonna Take" is a BOP! If anything, the leaks (and the positive reaction to them) should prompt her to actually release something. Instead she's gone silent, as usual. She's said many times that she doesn't want this album to fall on deaf ears, and it's pretty clear she wants to go viral on TikTok before dropping the album... problem is she's putting in minimal effort. We're halfway through July and she hasn't even started teasing Slay. The leaks are the only way us BonBon's are gonna be fed I fear.

Now that we finally have the INCREDIBLE "Forever 21", I think I finally finalized my tracklist and album art (unless "Right Now" leaks which is clearly never gonna happen). Don't Get Mad, Get Famous (Intro) S.L.A.Y. American Girl Forever 21 Hot City Rewind Your Heart Hit Me Up Everything But You I Wanna Fucking Call You Electric Heaven Waking Up Diagonal Jenny's Got a Boyfriend Last Call Lover Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt Listening all the way through it's just all killer, no filler. Every track is a masterpiece. This really could have been the album of the 2010's.

Awww you're mad that a track that you STOLE from an artist and you've been selling for profit has leaked?! Poor you! Anyway, Forever 21 a BOP!!!! Hopefully Bonnie actually comes through and releases this project. And if not, at least we can all finally breathe easy knowing we have the last piece of the puzzle we've been waiting for.

Lol k. Then she should have just released Forever 21 as a standalone single the way she released Sleepwalker back in 2018. She's had the rights to many of the Epic tracks for a while. And why didn't she release "Modern Girl" when there was some hype around it from that Netflix show? There's always an excuse. Tons of independent artists are incredibly successful in the streaming age... because they actually release music consistently. Bonnie is still caught up in the idea that every release needs to have a 2012 major-label type rollout (weeks of teasing, music video, appearances, etc.) and that just isn't viable at this point. I'm still holding out hope that us long-time devoted fans will finally get the album we've been waiting for. It's just annoying that certain gatekeepers hoard (and re-sell) these songs that don't belong to them, rather than share them with the few other fans left on here.

What stopped her from releasing Die Happy, Dirty Laundry, etc. in 2017 then?

Some of y'all are wild LOL. Keep hoarding these songs if it makes you feel special I guess. Most of them are nearly 10 YEARS OLD. It's not like Bonnie hasn't had the opportunity to release them in the past. There's always an excuse. And let's get real, 14 people downloading a leaked song on this forum is hardly going to impact an official release (which, again, is probably never gonna happen). I mean, she performed this song live FIVE (!) years ago. It's not like we haven't been patient. Also, just listened to it and... ummm... It belongs buried with "Thorns" tbh.

Ok this vault thing is actually ICONIC. Based on this Reel posted a couple pages back, it's pretty clear this is going to be the intro to the "S.L.A.Y." music video. Hence the "Do Not Touch" signs everywhere, she probably hasn't filmed the vault part yet. At 0:23 she says: "This is all for a music video." ... "I find the single – S.L.A.Y. – and I put it in the VCR, and we watch the little video." Love the concept, and idea of going into the vault and picking up here she left off is genius. Color me gooped and gagged, because I'm actually excited and hopeful once again that she's really coming. PS I don't think the stack of VHS tapes are actual music videos. Likely just props to reflect the original tracklist for the Epic album, with "Somebody" being "Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt" (too long to write the full title out on the VHS tape) and not the 2004 "Somebody". And before y'all read me... I know back in the day she said "Sleepwalker" wasn't going to be on the album but we know how quickly Bonnie changes her mind.

Yeah the production and vocals sound exactly the same to me. Except her vocals seem louder in the mix. Hard to tell from a shitty LQ instagram video though.

Given that she's most-known for writing hit songs for other people "American Girl", the fact that she didn't take advantage of July 4th to drop a new single (or at least give us a release date) is infuriating. If we have to hear "polishing it up for y'all as we speak!!" or "it's coming sooner than u think!!" one more time...

Today marks 7 YEARS since the Bombastic EP was released. And we're still here waiting for the album(s). Happy Birthday Bombastic, I guess.

Also, if she was planning to release this summer, WHY is she not doing any Pride gigs? She could have done a cute little set with her Hits Medley, Slay, Forever 21 and American Girl to get her name back out there.

I wonder what ever happened to Sean Walsh? He produced all of the Bombastic EP tracks and I definitely feel like they stood up (quality-wise) to the material she recorded while under Epic. I do agree with @Bambi101, Bonnie's latest efforts have definitely felt a little more... home-spun. While the melodies and lyrics are still very strong, they are no where near the absolute gold she struck with the Epic songs.

She's still mixing "S.L.A.Y." But I guess this is pretty much confirmation that it's coming as the first single.
