  1. My favorite songs released this year: 1. Jennifer Lopez - Can't Get Enough 2. Bonnie McKee - Everything But You 3. 4. Ariana Grande - Yes, and? 5. Billie Eilish - Birds of a Feather 6. Chappell Roan - Good Luck, Babe! 7. Sabrina Carpenter - Taste 8. Dua Lipa - Training Season 9. Kesha - Joyride 10. Jade - Angel of My Dreams Also, I'd like to mention my favorite music video of 2024: And the only truly great album this year:
  2. New surprise release: https://music.apple.com/br/album/california-winter-ep/1785977432
  3. Considering how scarce were her releases after the Bombastic EP, I'm so grateful by how many things Bonnie has given us just this year: apart from the Hot City album, which was already a huge deal obviously, and would be enough to satisfy the fans, she also graced us with 2 more music videos, Rendezvous in partnership with Spotify, two EPs with additional versions of American Girl and Sleepwalker, and a tour (for those lucky enough to live in the United States). Not to mention the physical copies of Hot City. I really appreciate that, I hope she continues to be this prolific.
  4. When she started teasing Dashboard by the end of the TikTok video I was thinking it was gonna be Right Now. We didn't think she could include the original American Girl in Hot City, and I believe she once said there were issues with getting Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt because she sold it but now that one is going to be in the deluxe, so it wouldn't be too shocking if she got permission to use Right Now. Maybe we should have bothered her more about that one. But I'm happy with SGGH, I always thought that was one of the essential songs of the Epic album.
  5. This is so sad, they had a beautiful love story and looked like were meant for each other. I wish nothing but the best for JLo. ❤️
  6. I'm sorry if it sounded like that, it wasn't my intention. I just wanted to bring up the other album because I think it's not mentioned enough, because I love her newer material just as much as I love the Hot City-era songs. I bought a copy of Hot City on iTunes, I have streamed the album over 1,100 times with my Spotify Premium account since it came out a little over a month ago (in addition to over 1,500 streams on the 4 singles released before, according to Stats.fm), so I'm a real Bonnie supporter. It wasn't my intention to bring any negativity to the thread. And I will continue to support her no matter what she decides to release next. I love you, Bonnie ❤️
  7. Honestly I'm more excited for the second album she promised than for an extended version of Hot City. I'm scared that Bonnie feels like too much time has passed, that those songs aren't current anymore, and decides to shelve it. Hopefully we get both.
  8. I'm only now finding out, looking at that page, that Bonnie also co-wrote Miracle Man, which was one the best from Bebe Rexha's last album. I thought she had only worked on that other song.
  9. The way we all knew about Show You Mine (formerly known as Show Me Your Love) but we all just kinda wrote it off and there was never demand for it to leak or be released by Bonnie officially, and it ended up being one of the highlights of the album I'm glad there was this nice surprise at least, because the rest of the bops we all had listened to in full before. I envy the gays who will experience Everything But You, Forever 21, Rewind Your Heart and Electric Heaven for the first time on Spotify today. If released with major label investment behind it, and at the right time, this could have been one of those pop albums that put out several big hit singles, like Teenage Dream, Future Nostalgia, Love Angel Music Baby, The Dutchess, Rhythm Nation, Forever Your Girl, etc. We were robbed of an iconic era. I can imagine how Bonnie felt when the project was shelved.
  10. I had no idea Bonnie wrote songs for Gwen Stefani's shelved 2014 album. We were robbed 😭
  11. The amount of care and attention to detail Bonnie puts into everything she does is so impressive.
  12. I can't wait for Everything But You to be officially released. It has always been my favorite song.
  13. Only 3 more months and the wait will finally be over. By the way, am I the only one here also excited for the album Bonnie promised to release after Hot City?
  14. Lifetime is airing a new 2-part documentary, "Where Is Wendy Williams?", on February 24-25. The film is expected to clarify what's going on with the TV star, which has been off the air since 2021 and left millions of fans around the world worried for her health and safety. Watch the trailer below. Considering the documentary is executive produced by Wendy herself, should this be a sign that everything is well with our queen, and that a definitive comeback can be expected after this event? Or will it leave us devastated by bringing us the news that the iconic host's health condition will prevent us gays from ever having her back gracing our screens with her messy opinions?
  15. I really wanted to like the song, because David Guetta is a king (he supports Amber Heard).
  16. Please go watch her latest TikTok / Instagram Reels videos. She needs to get to 3,000 pre-saves by tomorrow. Considering how many of us here bullied her into releasing the album, the least we can do is support her - though I wish she would have explained this sooner to us so we could have prepared better. Bonnie has loyal fans here that she can reach out in private and be more open about the business side of things and that can mobilize others to help her get the numbers she needs. We love these songs and want Bonnie to get the success she deserves. But we're not organized.
  17. I wasn't expecting Don't Get Mad Get Famous to be on the album, didn't she say once on her TikTok comments that she never finished writing the lyrics for the song, and was even surprised fans were asking for it? Or am I confusing it for something else?
  18. As much as I wanted it already, I think it makes sense to release the album next year. In this day and age, for an artist like Bonnie, she has to release all the potential hits as singles before putting the full album out. Only the singles get decent exposure on streaming, the rest of the tracks will be listened only by the people who are really into her. This album has too many potential hits that shouldn't get wasted like that.
  19. In its first 5 days of release, Hot City had 20% more streams than SLAY on Spotify at the same point. I hope Bonnie is pleased with the numbers and continues with the release plans for the album so she can keep the momentum going, and follow it up with her new songs next year.
  20. It debuted slightly better than SLAY on Spotify (14.744 streams vs 12.849), and that one already performed better than almost everything she released after the Bombastic EP.
  21. I couldn't watch her Instagram live, because it was way too late at night for me. Did she provide any new information about the album? Also, did you guys notice Hot City was released under the Snafu Records label, instead of "Bonnie McKee Music" like her previous solo singles?
