  1. It's not entirely unreasonable, especially when you remember that Kesha has lied under oath at one point: either about Luke raping her or not raping her. It almost seems like a long shot at this point but I do hope you're right...I can't consolidate buying someone's music and seeing them on tour with them lying about being raped and putting someone else through hell. How do you know about this alleged label CEO?
  2. This is what I want my funeral to look like! :hail:

Omg how iconic... I have a friend who already demanded that when he dies he wants all his friends to perform 'Spice Up Your Life' in his funeral :cackle:

@victorxcx :cackle: How iconic! I would request that too, but I don't have five friends to make up the entire group... :stretcher: All I could have was Geri solo performances. :fishie:

  3. It's hard to believe that it's been four years since Kesha launched a lawsuit against her onetime producer and continued manager Dr. Luke, and that even now in 2018 the full extent of that lawsuit is only just becoming apparent. Because while Kesha's lawsuit against Luke was dropped several years ago, Luke himself was quick to launch a counter-suit against Kesha which alleged that she intentionally defamed his name to the tune of ten million dollars. Luke's suit is based on three alleged falsities that Kesha stated about him in various outlets. One is that he raped her, and another is that he gave her drugs against her will. But up until now the third falsity has gone unknown. With it's reveal today, Luke has made the whole suit even messier by dragging two other A-list popstars into the suit. We learnt a while ago that Luke's team had asked Lady Gaga to turn over her text messages with Kesha to the court as evidence, and now we know why. According to Luke, Kesha told Gaga in a series of text messages that Luke had raped not only herself, but Katy Perry as well. The allegation is an interesting twist in the tale of deceit. If Luke's claim is correct - which still isn't a sure thing, as context could account for a lot in this case - then the truth of the matter between him and Kesha comes down to this very text. If she was telling the truth about Katy, it's likely that she was telling the truth about her own experience; if she was lying, her credibility is entirely wasted and there's no reason she couldn't have lied about her own abuse. Of course, the only person other than Luke who knows about the alleged Katy Perry abuse is Katy herself. For the record, Katy has never said anything about Luke raping her, or said anything negative about Luke at all for that matter. When it was noted that she hadn't worked with him for her Witness album, she simply stated "I had to leave the nest". Katy has apparently been deposed for the case, but it's so far unknown what she's said. We do at least know why Luke chose the figure of $10 million for the lawsuit, however; according to him, that's the amount that he lost out on when he wasn't able to produce Katy's albums due to the lawsuit. So tell us: what are your thoughts on this absolute mess?
  4. Omg, that sounds so painful... I wanna get a piercing just so I can say I've had one, but I think I'm just gonna stick with my fake one I can put in and take out every day. Daddy!
  5. Bad reputation, bad reputation, ooh, you and me, we cause a whole lot of frustration!

  7. Happy pride month, faggots!

  8. It's okay, the world will be over before the choc top is spotted anyway! Relatable... Although I'd rather kill myself than die at the hands of North Korea!
  9. I highly doubt this will be the final game considering how successful the franchise has been for Square Enix. I wouldn't even be surprised if this turned into their version of Assassin's Creed with a new game and location every year!
  10. Does she really have an ugly personality tho, or is it just her mental illness talking like it was with Kanye? Maybe it's a cop out but it seems crazy to me that she was once so liberal and has now become such a disgusting Trump supporter. I can't see how that could ever happen naturally.
  11. Maybe you're right, but if I asked people on the street to name Ginger Spice I don't think anyone could. People over here are much more into Mel B and of course Victoria.
  12. Honestly it's a lot more cheesy than I expected and a lot more Bradley-centric as well... I'm not mad though, I'm obviously gonna see this the day it comes out and I can't wait for the soundtrack!
  13. I'm not sure if people already know this tea or not, but Neon Hitch is openly bisexual and was not-so-openly dating her (female) manager for years. The reason why her manager left and Neon's career started falling apart (even more than usual) is because Neon wasn't paying her and they broke up.
  14. Ain't that the truth... Maybe this explains why she she was so sensitive about it though.
  15. Go off I guess sis! Not sure why you're defending a management team that's run your fave's career into the dirt but don't worry, next time I won't bother responding at all!
  16. Leo Rising was an amazing album imo and it definitely didn't achieve the levels of success it deserved imo. I have to agree with @choke though, this music isn't great and her rapping Wednesday Adams image is kinda cringey imo. She could definitely do better than this!
  17. But they shouldn't say they think that to one of their artist's few remaining fans...
  18. How ironic that she was the first to leave and that she's the first to want back in now her solo career's failed...
  19. Demi Lovato is facing backlash online following a "prank" that hoards of her fans are describing as sexual harassment. In a since deleted tweet Demi made on Sunday, she responded to a question from a fan asking about the best prank she's ever pulled. Demi replied with a story which involved her hiring a prostitute in Vegas to "surprise" her friend Max by walking into his room and touching his genitals without permission. It didn't take long for the tweets to start rolling in, with Lovato being accused of sexual harassment and insensitivity by hundreds of her onetime fans. In response, she returned to Twitter to apologise for what she called a "simple mistake", and to imply that she too had been abused. The song which Lovato refers to is 'Warrior', a track off her 2013 album DEMI. While fans have speculated for a while that it may be about her abusive father, the revelations of sexual abuse give a new twist to the lyrics, especially those in the bridge: While we sympathise with Demi, we wonder how she could make a mistake this obvious. "Pranks" about sexual abuse didn't warrant blinking up until a few years ago, but in the age of #MeToo and #TimesUp it's incredulous how she could not only organise the situation in the first place, but tweet it to millions of people afterwards. For the record, even though Demi described the "Max" in question as freaking out, he seemed totally unbothered by the prank in hindsight. What do you think of Demi's Twitter drama? Was it a harmless prank or something more sinister? Let us know in the comments down below!
  20. They should have just waited until August and had her do a proper collab with the full band when they all had time to actually work together!
  21. Did you finish the season? I just watched the reunions the other day and it was pretty good overall! Eva definitely doesn't deserve to be a full time Housewive though, she's so boring compared to people like Kim and Marlo who should both return as stars of the show imo.
  22. Sadly I think she lacks the edge you need to succeed nowadays. Her songs are cute but they're nothing unique and they're nothing I'd wanna listen to more than a handful of times (apart from possibly 'El Barrio'). :/
  23. Issa bop and your vocals sound great, but the bass in the production makes it so hard to hear anything you're singing... Idk if that was intentional or not but it makes for kind of a frustrating listen.
  24. The only ones I can think of are 'Girls' by Rita Ora (which maybe still has a chance internationally if they go in with the music video) and 'Accelerate' by XTina (which is sadly never gonna happen thanks to the lack of promo and Kanye's involvement). Other than that there hasn't really been anything that's caught my eye yet this year but there's still plenty of time to go!
  25. I should have known that creepy Hatsune Miku-esque voice was her, the accent was too good for it to have been any of the LOONA girls... You're right, she 100% could have been left out, it seems like a total waste of a collab.
