    Well it's understandable you have mixed feelings about it. It's your own work for one thing, and no one's first ever project is gonna be amazing! But for what it's worth I think you're off to a great start! I'm really impressed with your production. A lot of it sounds just as good as some of the JoJo or Lana demos that have leaked. I think your songwriting is good too! 'Days of Freedom' is probably my favourite song. The production is really well done and I think the chorus is that perfect mix of catchy and meaningful. I can definitely hear someone jumping on this and making it a hit! I say keep up the good work boo! I feel like you're gonna sound great as soon as you get control over your voice and we figure out how to master vocals together! Keep working at it and you'll go far!

    Just wondering of any of you guys know about Carly Hennessy/Carly Smithson, aka lead singer of We Are The Fallen? It sounds like one of our favourite stories of a girl who has flop after flop but never gives up... She released her debut album Ultimate High in 2001 with a bunch of collabs from the great team of Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisebois and a budget of $2 million. The album failed to garner any momentum, possibly due to it's release a few months after 9/11. After it flopped, she was dropped by her record label. She then appeared on season seven of American Idol, where she made it to the top six before being eliminated. She started working on more solo material after Idol... But this was scrapped when she became part of Evanescence tribute band We Are The Fallen, being hand-picked by previous Evanescence mastermind Ben Moody. They were dropped from their label in 2011. Since then Carly has made a few more AI-related appearances but I haven't heard anything about her making more solo material. So what do we think of her girlies? I can imagine her having a lot of fans on here given how much early 2000s talk there's been lately! I'm really into 'I'm Gonna Blow Your Mind' atm so I'm interested to check out more of her early stuff.

    I think so! Honestly I didn't even turn the sound on because I just didn't even wanna contribute to that messiness. But it was sad to see him that way. I hope he gets the help he needs.

    You could be right! Although I seem to remember him pausing our conversation every ten minutes to find something new to play. It's crazy how dedicated their fanbase is. They were like the OG One Direction but x100 on the level of fan insanity.

    I mean, that Anitta video has 133 million views, so I feel like it's kind of already happened? The VMAs and EMAs already seem to be recognising these artists so I think it's just a matter of time before they get even more mainstream!

    I wish she'd included it on a special deluxe edition of her last album or something. It seems a shame to have all that interesting material go to waste, and it's not like she was paying that much money for those producers anyway...

    Oh yeah, I forgot about that! The film kind of worked without her because they made Kate a main character, but in the series I feel like Miranda was really missed in those last few episodes. As for Orlando, I literally saw a video of him a few days ago living on the streets and being harassed by some random guy... It's really sad what's happened to him. I hope he finds health and happiness.

    I felt the same way! At the end of the day she was playing a character, so whatever her own heritage is is kind of irrelevant...Didn't she also have a DUI or a rehab visit at some point? I can see why Disney wanted to part ways with her. Either way I hope she comes back if they continue with the reboot. As much as I loved the film it wasn't quite the same without Miranda being there. When and if Younger finally does end I'll definitely get back into it. Even if just for that sexy Nico Tortilla!

    Right? It's crazy how much stuff she has for someone who's released only two albums and a couple of soundtrack songs. I wonder if she'd ever release Deepest Roots?

    I saw the table read! It was so sweet and nostalgic and I'm so happy that everyone seems to be on good terms. AFAIK they never confirmed Lalaine for the reboot so it was nice to see her there and getting along with everyone else. I agree with you tho...I loved TSR but Raven's Home was a big disappointment to me. I definitely don't want a show that's all about younger characters with Lizzie just there as a side character. I'm just hoping at this point they hurry up and move it to Hulu so Lizzie can get the airtime she d eserves! I'll definitely get back into Younger at some point. Honestly I'm just waiting for it to end so that I can binge it all in one go - but if Hilary's getting a spin-off maybe it will be ending sooner rather than later?

    Oh wait...I guess 'Potion' actually leaked in 2018 under the title 'I (Getting Near)' and is confirmed to be Nicola on vocals.

    I've been listening to Nicola and GA almost non-stop for the past few months so I feel like I know her voice pretty well! I don't think 'Sleep With Open Eyes' is actually her. 1:15 to 1:30 especially doesn't sound like her voice at all to me, even though I can definitely hear the resemblance. 'Potion'/'Poison' is a little harder to pick though...It does sound like her but everything is so distorted that it's hard to get a good read on the voice. Lil Cola is her Instagram username though so if it leaked with that name it's possibly her...

    I only watched the first season of Younger...It was fun and I was obviously loving seeing Hilary on TV, but it was never a must-watch to me. And honestly as much as I like Hilary I didn't see her character being interesting enough for me to tune into a whole show about her. What does this mean for Lizzie McGuire though? Is Hilary gonna be starring in two different shows about a young girl trying to make her way in New York? I can't imagine the networks would like that...I wonder if Lizzie is officially dead in the water?

    I looooove this concept! I always think it's so cool when artists do this in their albums, but on the other hand it annoys me when I just wanna listen to one song and have some weird overlap. This way we get both versions of the album depending on what mood we're in! Thanks for doing this and posting!

    I think those 'Call Out' things were mostly for radio stations. I guess they'd play them as background music or when they were saying what was in the top ten or songs they'd be playing in the next hour? It's always weird to have them though!

    Yeah, 'Overboard' wasn't my favourite track either...I remember really enjoying 'Feel' and 'Avalanche' though. It's a shame that album didn't go any further, it was very slick for a relatively new artist and she could have really done something with some better promo! I remember hearing about the documentary but it seemed like it was more of a fictionalised take on how she recorded than the album than an actual behind the scenes? Wasn't their paid actors and stuff in there? Ahhh, I get what you're saying. So the demo to the song was written to the Stargate version, but then Bryan Kennedy wrote a new instrumental to that demo? It's interesting to know! I wouldn't mind hearing Marié's voice over a Stargate track like 'Dancing With a Stranger', that could be beautiful!
