  1. Nicki Minaj has premiered the video for 'Up In Flames', which may or may not be yet another single off her Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - The Re-Up album. The video is a rather random affair, featuring Nicki in a tacky drugstore wig as she fake-sits in a rocking chair, fake-plays piano and fake-records in the studio. Suprisingly, the video is notably missing her fake-ass, and there's not even one bikini shot in sight. We're sort of surprised as to why Nicki would release this vid right now. After all, she didn't release 'Va Va Voom' for months, and that was actually a decent video. With 'High School' already making a splash as the supposed last single off the album, why would this video, which looks like it was made for a high-school video class project, jump out of nowhere? What do you think of the video? Is it the Nicki you know and love or should she return to her wiggy ways? Let us know at the forum!
  2. These girls have a lot of similarities! They both started in a successful band before going solo, and released their albums around the same time. Their albums sound vaguely similar and even their single structure is the same (What You Waiting For vs London Bridge, Hollaback Girl vs. Fergalicious, Glamorous vs. Luxurious, Cool vs. Big Girls Don't Cry). But which singer do you guys like the best? For me it's really hard as I think they're both great, but I have to go with Fergie this time purely for sentimental reasons. Hers was one of the first albums I bought while I only downloaded Gwen's a few years ago! How about you guys?
  3. I'm loving the percussion in her new songs! I hope the whole album has this much bass!
  4. hahaha that's true but at the same time i don't think they'd want her swearing on live tv! but yes it would be amazing to see her on tv twice a week, i would love it
  5. Oooh, my bad, you're right! On the producer's SoundCloud it says it was uploaded back in 2010. Thanks for clearing it up!
  6. omg she would be amazing i can't imagine anyone hiring her tho, like who knows what would come out of her mouth lmao
  7. omg i love the commercial lmao excited for her new single tbh! i bet it will go straight to the top of the charts btw is that a new song played at the end of the commercial?
  8. agreed on the soundtrack idk about the film itself though, i generally don't like lurhmann's style of filming. but it could be okay...
  9. Here’s what we’ve all been waiting for! After months of speculation, it’s officially confirmed that two of our favourites, Beyoncé and Lana Del Rey, will be participating in the The Great Gatsby soundtrack. It was first rumoured that Bey would be participating in the soundtrack a few days ago, when an inside source from Interscope leaked that she would be dueting with rapper André 3000 on a cover of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’. It was said that the song will be presented in an entirely different way to the original, which seems true: Bey’s cover of the song is a sultry, sparse R&B production similiar to Drake’s recent work. Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey is performing the hugely anticipated ‘Will You Still Love Me?’ for the album. We originally reported that Lana would be working on the soundtrack a few weeks ago, after she Tweeted out the simple phrase ‘GATSBY’. The song, produced by Rick Nowels, was originally written for Lana’s Paradise album before being left off the final tracklisting for unknown reasons. Fans will be glad to hear a finished snippet of the song during the trailer, with the final song to come soon! The third song we hear is an as-of-yet untitled song from British act Florence + The Machine. The song features Florence’s swooping vocals and trademark dramatic drums, and is sure to be a hit amongst fans of the band. The trailer also confirms that many other notable musicians will be working on the soundtrack. It confirms that Jay-Z, as previously reported, will be on the album after his collaboration with Kanye West, ‘No Church in the Wild’, was featured in the original trailer. Gotye, Emili Sande, and the xx are all also featured on the album. More surprising additions include singers such as will.i.am and Fergie from The Black Eyed Peas, Goonrock from LMFAO and indie rocker Sia. So far, there’s no news on when the soundtrack will be released, although it can be expected before the movie’s premiere in May. Are you happy with the soundtrack and the R&B vibe that Lurhmann is bringing to the film? Sound off over at our forums! [/html]

  11. Remember when we reported yesterday that Beyoncé would be premiering a new video today? Well, it turns out it’s her long-awaited Pepsi commercial! After collaborating with the brand on a video for her memorable Superbowl performance, Bey has returned to the company to film an advertisement called ‘Mirrors’. The spot features Bey in a dance studio, drinking a Pepsi. Suddenly she is surrounded by past versions of herself, each wearing outfits from past videos such as ‘Beautiful Liar’, ‘Single Ladies’ and ‘Crazy In Love’. Behind the action, a thumping R&B tune is played, rumoured to be called ‘Put It Down’ and supposedly appearing on Bey’s upcoming album. Watch the video above and let us know what you think over at our forums! Update: It turns out that the song in the commercial is actually ‘Grown Woman’, Bey’s new single! The song is produced by Timbaland and set to premiere Monday morning. You can listen to another snippet of the song here: httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nVZVGBxy4Qs Do you like what you hear so far or do you expect better from the first single? 13. Before becoming the electro-pop princess she's known as today, Charli XCX was just like every other struggling Tumblr artist - and now PopHatesFags has the track to prove it! B!TCH ZO SXC (how very hipster!) was first posted on the 'Witchbook' Tumblr page back in 2011. It was part of the first edition of their 'COVENFVCK' mixtape, but has since been lost in thousands of Tumblr archives, only to be found recently by a member of PopHatesFags. Don't forget to sign up to the PopHatesFags forums for more exclusive leaks, as well as the latest entertainment news! You'll also be able to download the full, untagged version of the song on our forums starting from today! What do you think of the song? Are you interested in Charli's Satanic side or should she stick to the grunge-pop which she's best known for? Let us know over at the forums!
  14. Snoop Dogg Snoop Lion has premiered his new single, and it features everybody's favourite good girl gone bad Miley Cyrus! 'Ashtrays & Heartbreaks', from Snoop's upcoming reggae album Reincarnated, is the third single off the project. Produced by hitmakers Major Lazer (No Doubt, Azealia Banks) and Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Rita Ora), the song is a reggae-pop song with elements of dance. "Ashtrays and heartbreaks/I lost some, let's toast to one/So raise a glass to the memories," Cyrus sings in the song. What do you think of the track? Do you like Snoop's new direction or should he stick to rap? Let us know at the forums! Download: Snoop Lion - Ashtrays and Heartbreaks (Feat. Miley Cyrus)
  15. Another day, another unreleased track from Ke$ha's Warrior album! Today we have 'What The Hell Is Wrong With Me', another track written by Ke$ha and her mother, and this time produced by JJ Appleton, a well-accomplished singer-songwriter in his own right. Earlier we reported that Dr. Luke had a vendetta against any songs written by Pebe, and with this song we kind of see why. It's by no means bad, but we can't see it doing well on the radio or even being filler on a standard Ke$ha album given what fans expect from her. What do you think of the song? Would you like a full album of Ke$ha tracks like this? Let us know at the forums! Download: Ke$ha - What The Hell Is Wrong With Me
  16. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsqNvy9v93s Charli XCX has premiered the music video for her latest single 'What I Like'! The visuals match the crazy, hyper track which Charli created, which speaks of a partner who knows exactly what to do to make Charli happy. The music video features Charli and several friends participating in a slumber party, eating pizza and jumping on the bed while Tumblr-inspired  animations appear over the top of the film. What do you think of the video? Is it a hit or miss from the singer? Let us know at the forums!
  17. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RavZNpbV60 Queen of R&B Beyoncé is continuing to build anticipation for her fifth studio album posting a video to YouTube today announcing a mysterious event to occur tomorrow, on April the 4th. The video features Bey looking stunning, with long blonde hair, her trademark leotard, and a glove somewhat similiar to the one she rocked during her I Am...Sasha Fierce promotion back in 2009. Meanwhile, a dubstep-inspired track plays in the background, reminiscing slightly on 'Run The World (Girls)'. No matter what's to come, we won't have long to find out - Bey should be announcing whatever it is just a few hours from now. What do you think the singer is teasing? Let us know over at our forums!
  18. i know there are some ga fans on here so i thought i'd post this for you guys! i'm watching it now, enjoy!
  19. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO_YmLbHTc8 R&B crooner Cassie has debuted the song and video for her latest single, 'Numb', featuring Rick Ross. "I make music to numb your brain," sings Cassie, as she walks down Hollywood Boulevard to the sultry sounds of the track. Despite our mixed feelings over Cassie in general, we actually kind of love this song! The beat is subtle but effective and works well with Cassie's less than perfect voice. Rick Ross's cameo isn't too annoying and the video is low-budget glamour. We can definitely see this being the theme song for many stoner Tumblr's to come in future years! What do you think of the song? Is Cassie about to have another hit or should she go back to the drawing board? Let us know over at our forums! Download: Cassie - Numb (Feat. Rick Ross)
  20. a A new Ke$ha snippet has leaked! 'Meet Me' is a song originally recorded for the Warrior album and written by Ke$ha and her mother Pebe Sebert. While we have yet to hear the the full song, we can tell that this one will be good! What do you think of the song? Let us know at the forums! Download: Ke$ha - Meet Me (LQ) (Snippet)
  21. pretty excited to see this tbh! i'm living for emma watson's cameo lmfao
  22. Disney and Pixar have made millions of people
  23. Disney and Pixar have made millions of people's days today with their announcement of Finding Dory, a sequel to the 2003 animated classic Finding Nemo! Set for release in 2015, the film will star popular talk show host Ellen Degeneres, as confirmed by director Andrew Stanton, who said: "There is no Dory without Ellen." Fresh from her trip to Australia, the setting of the film, Degeneres expressed her excitement over the film, saying "I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time." “I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creatingToy Story 16. But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny and the best part is - it’s got a lot more Dory." The film is apparently set about a year after the action of Finding Nemo, and will see "Dory on her own adventure to reunite with loved ones". The film will feature both old and new characters, including Nemo and his father Marlin. While it is unconfirmed whether or not Albert Brooks (who played Marlin) will return to the role, it has been confirmed that Alexander Gould, who played Nemo, will not be returning to the role. Gould was reportedly "devastated" after learning that his voice would be much too deep to play Nemo after the first film. While we love the idea of a sequel, we're always somewhat sceptical about a film which simply mirrors the plot of it's predecessor. Are you excited for the movie? Let us know over at the forums!
  24. Nicki Minaj has premiered the music video for her new single, 'High School', featuring Lil Wayne! The video features Nicki and Wayne as high-school sweethearts who rob a drug baron (played by Emilio Rivera) and run away together. While Nicki spends most of the video in a bikini or lingerie, Wayne spends half his time shirtless, showing off his all-over body tattoos which Nicki recently admitted she found attractive. “It’s still like, Wayne is still so sexy! He looks like a piece of art because he’s all tatted up. It’s just so sexy, black and beautiful.” She also said that filming the raunchy scenes in the video was somewhat awkward due to their close relationship. “Wayne said that we had to kiss, he was like, ‘Yo, the one thing that’s gonna really sell it is if we really kiss’, and I was like, ‘Ehh, No’... Not only is he my boss but he’s also like my brother, so it’s very weird.” Check out the video below and let us know what you think over at our forums. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_0Lzt4BiLk
