  1. Thintina! Here she is filming the video for 'Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti' with Alejandro Fernandez. I love how she didn't bother looking good for the album promo and only filmed one video, yet when a Mexican telenovella asks her to slim down and film a video she does it gladly.
  2. Yung Furbynxel tho.
  3. I hope so tbh, Aubrey is the worst member of the group. Dawn Richards >>> I'm sure they'll come back bigger and better than ever!
  4. PopHatesFags >>>>>>>>>>>>>
  5. Was it really? I didn't know! Although I disagree with you about Gaga, I thought she was sooo much more annoying during the TFM era.

  7. Angelina Jolie has revealed that she underwent a double masectomy as a preventative measure for breast cancer. The 37 year-old actress broke the news today in an opinion piece posted by The New York Times. In a candid, open article, Jolie explained her reasons for getting the surgery, as well as detailed descriptions of each surgery she underwent. Read the full article below: My mother fought cancer for almost a decade and died at 56. She held out long enough to meet the first of her grandchildren and to hold them in her arms. But my other children will never have the chance to know her and experience how loving and gracious she was. We often speak of “Mommy’s mommy,” and I find myself trying to explain the illness that took her away from us. They have asked if the same could happen to me. I have always told them not to worry, but the truth is I carry a “faulty” gene, BRCA1, which sharply increases my risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer. My doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman. Only a fraction of breast cancers result from an inherited gene mutation. Those with a defect in BRCA1 have a 65 percent risk of getting it, on average. Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy. I started with the breasts, as my risk of breast cancer is higher than my risk of ovarian cancer, and the surgery is more complex. On April 27, I finished the three months of medical procedures that the mastectomies involved. During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work. But I am writing about it now because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear into people’s hearts, producing a deep sense of powerlessness. But today it is possible to find out through a blood test whether you are highly susceptible to breast and ovarian cancer, and then take action. My own process began on Feb. 2 with a procedure known as a “nipple delay,” which rules out disease in the breast ducts behind the nipple and draws extra blood flow to the area. This causes some pain and a lot of bruising, but it increases the chance of saving the nipple. Two weeks later I had the major surgery, where the breast tissue is removed and temporary fillers are put in place. The operation can take eight hours. You wake up with drain tubes and expanders in your breasts. It does feel like a scene out of a science-fiction film. But days after surgery you can be back to a normal life. Nine weeks later, the final surgery is completed with the reconstruction of the breasts with an implant. There have been many advances in this procedure in the last few years, and the results can be beautiful. I wanted to write this to tell other women that the decision to have a mastectomy was not easy. But it is one I am very happy that I made. My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer. It is reassuring that they see nothing that makes them uncomfortable. They can see my small scars and that’s it. Everything else is just Mommy, the same as she always was. And they know that I love them and will do anything to be with them as long as I can. On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity. I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive. So to anyone who has a wife or girlfriend going through this, know that you are a very important part of the transition. Brad was at the Pink Lotus Breast Center, where I was treated, for every minute of the surgeries. We managed to find moments to laugh together. We knew this was the right thing to do for our family and that it would bring us closer. And it has. For any woman reading this, I hope it helps you to know you have options. I want to encourage every woman, especially if you have a family history of breast or ovarian cancer, to seek out the information and medical experts who can help you through this aspect of your life, and to make your own informed choices. I acknowledge that there are many wonderful holistic doctors working on alternatives to surgery. My own regimen will be posted in due course on the Web site of the Pink Lotus Breast Center. I hope that this will be helpful to other women. Breast cancer alone kills some 458,000 people each year, according to the World Health Organization, mainly in low- and middle-income countries. It has got to be a priority to ensure that more women can access gene testing and lifesaving preventive treatment, whatever their means and background, wherever they live. The cost of testing for BRCA1 and BRCA2, at more than $3,000 in the United States, remains an obstacle for many women. I choose not to keep my story private because there are many women who do not know that they might be living under the shadow of cancer. It is my hope that they, too, will be able to get gene tested, and that if they have a high risk they, too, will know that they have strong options. Life comes with many challenges. The ones that should not scare us are the ones we can take on and take control of. Personally, we're hugely glad that Angelina's okay and seems to be making a full recovery. We wish the best for her and her family and applaud her bravery for being so honest about the procedure. What do you think of the news? Sound off over at our forums.

  9. Some good news for Danity Kane fans today - according to TMZ, they're reuniting! Four of the original members - Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres - were spotted out at lunch today, and word on the street is that they were in talks with a new manager who would replace Diddy. Diddy originally brought the band together during reality TV show Making the Band 3 before signing them to Bad Boy Records. Four years later, he dropped the entire group, keeping only Dawn Richard as a part of his Diddy - Dirty Money group. Supposedly, the girl's feel as though Diddy was keeping too much money to himself as leader of the group, and are keen to put the past behind them. According to TMZ, the girls have plans to record and tour and are planning on using the 'Danity Kane' name, regardless of whether or not Diddy owns it. With both Dawn Richard and Aubrey O'Day having relatively successful solo careers out of the group, we do wonder about the timing of the project. Will they continue to work as solo artists or be exclusive group members once again? What do you think of the reunion? Do you prefer Danity Kane as a group or as solo artists? 11. Angela Bassett and Patti LuPone have joined the cast! This is shaping up to be the best season yet imo.
  12. PopHatesFags can exclusively reveal Lana Del Rey's next venture: a cover album! An inside source has revealed to us that Lana's been wanting to do a cover album for some time, but has only recently started to take the idea seriously after a jam session with boyfriend Barrie-James O’Neill. Supposedly, the pair were singing an impromptu version of 'Summer Wine' in the studio when Lana decided to record the full song and release it for her fans on YouTube. This followed another cover that Lana had recently recorded: Leonard Cohen's 'Chelsea Hotel No. 2'. It was then that O’Neill suggested she release a cover album, noting her vast array of influences and number of covers already recorded as good reasons for her to work on the project. There's no word yet on a full tracklist, although fans can expect both 'Wine' and 'Chelsea' to make the cut. Apparently, Lana's also hoping for a cover of Elvis Presley's 'Blue Suede Shoes' to appear on the album, although her label is reluctant to agree due to licensing restrictions on Presley's work. Lana previously wanted to include the cover on Born To Die but was forced to cut it from the tracklist after the exuberant price asked by Presley's estate for her to cover the song. Lana's hoping that her recent success will persuade the label to include the cover. Furthermore, Lana's label is reportedly rooting for her to include her cover of Nirvana's 'Heart-Shaped Box' on the album. Lana originally recorded the song after an acclaimed performance of the song last year, but decided not to put it on Paradise citing a desire for all original material on the album. The album is expected to be quite short, at about eight tracks, five of which Lana has recorded. Lana intends for the album to be a filler for fans which will bridge the wait between Paradise and her next original album. Production is expected to be acoustic and simple, with few of the synths or samples found on Born To Die. Her label is also pitching the idea of her adding one original song to the end of the tracklisting, but Lana is keen to keep it an album full of only covers. No word yet on a potential title for the project, although Lana is reportedly tossing a few names around already. Meanwhile, the singers is apparently surprised that fans didn't figure out her next venture before now. "Lana knows how intense her fans are," said our source, "and she expected them to guess [what she was doing] after she uploaded two covers in a row on YouTube". Oops! What do you think of Lana releasing a cover album? Personally, we'd love to hear a mashup of 'Born To Die' with Rihanna's 'Diamonds' on the record - although we think that's wishful thinking! Which song would you love to hear her sing if you had the chance? Let us know over at the forums!
  13. You better watch out before I make a mess of that twinky little face of yours. #BossBitchesUnite

  16. FLAWLESS. I love the outlinining in her dress and the bracelet makes it so punk.
  17. You might have trouble finding her behind her ego.
  18. She is dead to me. If anyone posts any of her so-called "music" on the forum, you will be banned. Thanks.
  19. Christina Aguilera (aka Legend X (aka Queen of All That is Good and Beautiful)) has released a new song! 'Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti', a famous Spanish song originally sung by Miguel Gallardo in 1975, was recorded for an upcoming telenovela La Tempestad. We're so glad XTina is staying relevant! We absolutely love Christina's vocals on the track. They're iconically hers, yet not overdone or strained. Let's just hope people don't find out she's actually not Spanish! What do you think of the song? Is it a return to form for XTina? Let us know at the forums! Download: Christina Aguilera - 'Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti (Feat. Alejandro Fernandez)'
  20. Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull have released their new single, 'Live It Up', and we can already tell it will be a smash! While we were a bit worried about the duo working together again (this is like their fifth collaboration since the flawless 'Fresh Out the Oven'), we were pleasantly surprised by the fun, danceable nature of the track. The breakdown post-chorus is hot, and even if the whole "Let's root tonight" line is incredibly tacky, it's just bad enough to be good. What do you think of the song? Is fifth time a charm? Let us know at the forums! Download: Jennifer Lopez - 'Live It Up (Feat. Pitbull)'
  21. The long-anticipated second single from The Saturdays upcoming album The Chase has finally been revealed! 'Gentleman', which we originally heard a snippet of on their reality TV show Chasing the Saturdays, was released today following the huge success of lead single 'What About Us'. While the song is catchy enough and we love the name-dropping bridge, we're not sure this was the wisest choice for a second single. The follow-up to 'What About Us' should have been just as fan, dancy and infectious, not a random R&B-pop song that leaves the public confused. Still, we're holding out hope that the song may just be able to break top ten. What do you think of the song? Was it a wise choice for a single? Let us know at the forums! Download: The Saturdays - 'Gentleman'
  22. Kylie hew? OMG. "The horse". Nicole Richie looks flawless though. She looks like she should be in X-Men. When will your fave?
