  1. It must have been Show Me Love then, although I don't know what song that is
  2. I agree. Nicole is sounding like a real diva here. The fact that she wants 75% which only leaves 25% for four other active members of the band AND Robin AND Melody is crazy!
  3. I saw the videos, but I couldn't figure out what she was singing. Does anyone have any idea?
  4. Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding has passed away, according to an Instagram post from her mum. Very sad to hear this...I hoped she would get better. I'm really sad we'll never see all five of them on the same stage again. Rest In Peace Sarah.
  5. When The Pussycat Dolls announced their reunion back in 2019, fans were hopeful that the group had turned over a new leaf. The girls seemed more bonded than ever in interviews, there were promises that all five of them would get a chance to sing (and not just frontwoman and "featured artist" Nicole Scherzinger), and their first new release in over a decade teased the impressive choreography the group was known for in their heyday. Sadly, things have never been smooth sailing in the Pussycat Dolls camp, and their reunion is no exception. Following several COVID-related delays and a seriously weird music video for 'Santa Baby', reports have now emerged stating that Scherzinger is being sued by Robin Antin, the group's mastermind and manager. The lawsuit relates to the deal that was made in preparation for the group's reunion tour, in which Scherzinger agreed to accept 49% of Pussycat Dolls Worldwide's shares and profits for the tour in exchange for her participation. Antin, the CEO of Pussycat Dolls Worldwide and the creator of the group, apparently "only agreed to transfer the shares to Scherzinger based upon Scherzinger's promise to perform as part of the reunion tour". While she initially agreed to the terms of this deal, Scherzinger has since reneged on her commitment to the tour, and is now demanding full creative control over the show and a larger share in the group's business. Scherzinger is now demanding 75% of Pussycat Dolls Worldwide and "final decision-making authority" over the group's output, and is threatening not to participate in the tour until her demands are met. "Tour dates were planned but are unable to be confirmed because of Scherzinger's extortion," Antin's lawyers stated. The court case has grown to include more than just PCD, with tour promoter Live Nation now asking for a refund on their $600 000 investment into the shows. The lawsuit will surely throw a wrench in the group's plans to reunite, which were already delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Reuniting for the first time in late 2019, the group released comeback single 'React' as promotion for their concert tour, dubbed the Unfinished Business Tour, and teased more music to come, with many fans expecting a Greatest Hits album to match their tour. Naturally, the tour dates were pushed into late 2020 before being rescheduled for 2021, and fans have heard no news regarding rescheduled dates since March of this year, all of which are currently listed as "To Be Confirmed". Is Nicole within her rights to demand more money as the frontwoman of PCD? Or is this more of the diva behaviour that we've long suspected of her? Let us know in the comments below!
  6. With ABBA's recent announcement of a hologram-led show launching in 2022, and Whitney Houston's hologram show launching in Vegas this October, I've been thinking more about holographic concerts and whether or not I would go to one. Personally, I don't really have a problem with the hologram side of things, as I don't think it's necessary to see the person performing in order to experience a good show. I've never been to a Sia show but judging by what I've seen on YouTube she's still able to put on a good concert without even being seen by the audience. For me though, what would turn me off a hologram show is the lack of spontaneity...My favourite parts of a show are the audience interaction and hearing people sing live vocals. Without that, I don't think there's much point in going to a show - it's kind of just like going to a club night where they're charing you $150 to get in. What do you guys think? Would you attend a hologram show or nah?
  7. I don't really get the point of this release. I think I would have preferred if she'd recorded another few acoustic versions and released an album of that instead.
  8. The CGI is still a little uncanny valley for me. Tbh I'm looking more forward to the TV special and album than the show.
  9. Ahhh, so just the eight new tracks. I guess that technically is an album, isn't it? For some reason I was expecting it as a greatest hits. Looking forward to checking out Don't Let Me Down after the stream is over!
  10. A whole new album?! Where are you hearing this? Listening to 'I Still Have Faith in You' now. Sounds like classic ABBA! Not sure about a ballad for a comeback but it's sweet.
  11. Something's happening now!
  12. Are ABBA actually appearing on this livestream or is it just gonna be all 70 year old gay men and Jackie Cox
  13. I hear her sister Danny from Malbirn is great as well!
  14. Love the cameo of Kylie from "Austalia"!
  15. Watching and waiting!
  16. I'm with you! I think it's cute to see people in their 70s dancing and having fun and singing the music they made in their 20s. Seeing those ladies dance to Dancing Queen would bring me so much joy!
  17. I'm still not 100% sold on the hologram idea, but I'm excited for new music. I hope it's classic ABBA and not some Autotuned David Guetta mess
  18. 39 years after the release of their last album, ABBA are set to reunite this week to announce a new hologram-led tour and the release of their first new music in decades. The supergroup has launched social media profiles for their new project entitled ABBA Voyage, which fans presume will be the name of their new tour. First announced five years ago, the tour won't feature the group members themselves who are all in their 70s, but life-like holograms known as "abbatars" who will replicate the band's appearance from their heyday. Set to launch by spring of 2019, the tour has been delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is currently scheduled to take off in 2022. Along with a tour, the group have also reunited in the studio to record new music. In 2018, the foursome announced that they had recorded two new songs together entitled 'I Still Have Faith In You' and 'Don't Shut Me Down'. Since then, however, the band has continued to create new music together, with Benny Andersson confirming the existence of a third song in 2019 and Björn Ulvaeus stating in 2020 that the group had written eight new songs together with five of them being recorded so far. At least one of the songs will be released as a single, with Ulvaeus stating in 2020 that a music video costing £15 million has been produced for the track staring the abbatars. Some of the tracks will also feature in a TV special entitled ABBA: Thank You for the Music, An All-Star Tribute, which fans anticipate to be released alongside the new music. With the ABBA Voyage social media accounts teasing an announcement for 2 September, fans won't have long to wait until all becomes apparent.
  19. It looks amazing! Must be so cool to finally have something to hold in your hands
  20. Was she? She's so unlucky...COVID on Younger, her Younger spin off cancelled, the Lizzie reboot cancelled and now COVID a few days into shooting her new show The universe is against her rn!
  21. Yes! Stop making babies and start making music you two!
  22. It may well be an intentional sample, but: Sounds a lot like:
  23. Damn. This is really bad timing for her given her new show. Seems like she can't catch a break on TV.
  24. Exactly. And even solo singers who barely know each other like Gaga and Katy are compared. If she was unhappy musically, I wish she'd just have said that!
  25. Just found this on YouTube Autoplay...So this is why she's leaving
