  1. I'm still not 100% sold on the hologram idea, but I'm excited for new music. I hope it's classic ABBA and not some Autotuned David Guetta mess
  2. 39 years after the release of their last album, ABBA are set to reunite this week to announce a new hologram-led tour and the release of their first new music in decades. The supergroup has launched social media profiles for their new project entitled ABBA Voyage, which fans presume will be the name of their new tour. First announced five years ago, the tour won't feature the group members themselves who are all in their 70s, but life-like holograms known as "abbatars" who will replicate the band's appearance from their heyday. Set to launch by spring of 2019, the tour has been delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is currently scheduled to take off in 2022. Along with a tour, the group have also reunited in the studio to record new music. In 2018, the foursome announced that they had recorded two new songs together entitled 'I Still Have Faith In You' and 'Don't Shut Me Down'. Since then, however, the band has continued to create new music together, with Benny Andersson confirming the existence of a third song in 2019 and Björn Ulvaeus stating in 2020 that the group had written eight new songs together with five of them being recorded so far. At least one of the songs will be released as a single, with Ulvaeus stating in 2020 that a music video costing £15 million has been produced for the track staring the abbatars. Some of the tracks will also feature in a TV special entitled ABBA: Thank You for the Music, An All-Star Tribute, which fans anticipate to be released alongside the new music. With the ABBA Voyage social media accounts teasing an announcement for 2 September, fans won't have long to wait until all becomes apparent.
  3. It looks amazing! Must be so cool to finally have something to hold in your hands
  4. Was she? She's so unlucky...COVID on Younger, her Younger spin off cancelled, the Lizzie reboot cancelled and now COVID a few days into shooting her new show The universe is against her rn!
  5. Yes! Stop making babies and start making music you two!
  6. It may well be an intentional sample, but: Sounds a lot like:
  7. Damn. This is really bad timing for her given her new show. Seems like she can't catch a break on TV.
  8. Exactly. And even solo singers who barely know each other like Gaga and Katy are compared. If she was unhappy musically, I wish she'd just have said that!
  9. Just found this on YouTube Autoplay...So this is why she's leaving
  10. I think it's this disconnect between "I couldn't handle being in a girl group" and "I'm launching a solo career". I'm sure in her head she thinks there'll be a difference but I think there'll be a rude awakening when she realizes the media attention is going to be just the same
  11. Formerly one fourth of the most successful girl group of the 2010s, Jesy Nelson made waves last year when she announced her official departure from Little Mix due to mental health reasons. Now, she's opening up about her reasoning behind leaving the group in her first big push as a solo artist with The Guardian - and it sounds like the decision wasn't entirely hers. Speaking about whether her mental health issues made it tough for the other girls over the years, Nelson said, "Of course. Course. We’ve all had our own problems. But it’s never nice to be around someone who’s down and doesn’t want to be there. As much as I needed to come out of it for myself, I didn’t want to keep putting three other people through that as well." And when asked specifically about the lead-up to her ultimate departure, Nelson went into even more detail: But although times may have been difficult between her and the other three girls, Nelson is confident that the group will have continued success without her. “I reckon they’ll look after their babies, go off and do their own things for a while, then make a comeback together. I think they’re just as sick as a three. They’re still doing it for girl power. I still love them to pieces. They were like my sisters.” Long-lost sisters, perhaps. When asked if she still keeps in touch with the girls still performing as Little Mix, Nelson responded in the negative. “No, not as much. Not now. I think we all need time. It’s a big thing that’s happened. What I’ve said about a million times is that I never said I’m coming out of the band to never be in the public eye again. I said I’m coming out of Little Mix because I could not deal with the pressure of being in a girl band, not that I can’t deal with the pressures of being in the spotlight or being famous.” Time will tell how her solo career turns out.
  12. Why are they making things in store only We're still in a pandemic Kylie!
  13. I'm hoping for this too! Would love definitive versions of her albums with all the bonus tracks, b-sides and unreleased.
  14. Some insider tea that was just spilt to me that I cannot vouch for in terms of reliability... Apparently November 11 is the release day for Spice 25! There will be seven releases for the album. Each of the girls will have a cassette tape, one release will be the original album on vinyl, and one will be a vinyl of unreleased demos from that era (!!!). I'm assuming the unreleased vinyl will also be released to streaming? There's also meant to be a coffee table book including unseen shots from shoots between '96 and '98 apparently called Spice Rewind. Take all this with a grain of salt but it sounds kind of like what I was expecting from them! We'll see if it comes true!
  15. She almost has one at this point! This is like her sixth acoustic track right?
  16. Okay, so Stormblood was boring but Shadowbringers was :hail::hail::hail:

What a great expansion! Probably the best FF experience since FF12.

    1. Rauru

You and me both! Can't wait to play it! It will be my first time playing along with everyone else and not five years later :cackle:

  17. Sad that he couldn't complete the tour dates he wanted to. I hope he's doing okay
  18. Oh wow! Weird he even tried to fight that. Isn't he somewhat wealthy in his own right? Any win for Kelly is a win for America tho
  19. This is what I immediately thought too! It said he was stepping down soon but not that he'd actually stepped down yet. I won't believe anything he says until he's actually totally gone.
  20. 'Wish I Knew' is giving me Stranger Things vibes! Loving the production!
  21. I think there might be even more! 'Perfect Vision' comes to mind, although I guess it was more a jingle than a song.
  22. I'm not too sure about that. I remember there were some emails that leaked where she was apparently looking for an executive producer so I guess it's possible! But I can't imagine anything will happen until the court case is sorted and her mental health is in a better place.
  23. New Target-exclusive version of Lana's Chemtrails!
  24. Dying for that one! And Sugar & Spice too. Hopefully later this year!
