I hate this trend going around right now of everything having to be in capital letters for no reason. Why is EDEN more artistic and cool than Eden? At least with ARTPOP it sort of fits into the idea of being loud, brash and in your face, but what does capitalizing words like PRISM and EDEN do to affect their meaning?

I actually have to agree that I really don't a very strong connection between vomiting and rape...as someone who's suffered from negative sexual experiences in the past, I understand the feelings of shame and worthlessness that can come after being raped, but I don't really see what vomiting has to do with it. Like Roger said, there are other ways to deal with the issue and express your feelings on it other than vomiting. However that said, I actually liked the performance! It was super raw and the energy was totally there. Even though I thought it was a little distasteful and tacky when I first saw it, once I started looking up the girl who was doing it and realised that was part of a performance art series she's been making for a long time I had more of an understanding of what Gaga was aiming for with it. It's obviously unsettling to watch but that's clearly the point. And it's an interesting concept. I agree with you! I feel like Demi's deliberately misinterpreting the whole performance. She obviously has a right to be upset about it given her past, and she expressed her opinions respectfully and said she's still a fan. But I think she doesn't really understand that the performance had nothing to do with bulimia.

It's not my fav song off the album or the best single choice imo, but I liked the live version! Those lens flares have really gotta go tho. BY THE WAY, I forgot to tell y'all! They played this song during some ad for like a rugby game the other day here in Australia! I had to rewind the show we were watching to hear it, I couldn't believe Sky was actually getting some international promo. It was the weirdest experience!

ME TOO. It was so sweet how proud she was of Ali. Dina came off surprisingly well too. I thought it was awkward that she went from being in love with Ali to dragging that real estate guy within like five minutes tho.

Let me know what you think of it once you're done! I thought it was pretty interesting...it makes it hard to know whether or not she's fully genuine and committed to what she's doing, which I think is important as often curing yourself of this kind of disease isn't just a black and white thing. I'm gonna wait and see what happens next tho.

Tbh it is pretty pretentious, but I still loved it! Normally I hate that narcissistic bullshit which Tumblr seems to love, but for some reason I found this one really genuine and beautiful.
