  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCjyUgqdc2c#ws What are you guys thinking of this campaign? At first I felt like $50 000 was a heap of money but really it only requires like 2500 people to donate $20 in order for her to reach her goal! It's pretty obtainable when you think of it that way. She's also announced that her next album will be an entirely fan collaborative album, and revealed new t-shirts and necklaces, as well as the album artwork! I'm tossing up between getting the signed CD mailed to me or the signed vinyl which also apparently comes with an instant download of the album, allegedly today?! Are you guys gonna buy anything? You can check out the full list of options here.
  2. OMG, YOU'RE A MESS. He's literally the one reason I watch all those Marvel movies. Plus he seems to have the most docile, boring personality ever so he's literally just like a personal sex doll.
  3. Hatch this and let the whole word eat it.
  4. God, this is horrifying! I don't think anyone looking at either of them would have ever imagined that he was capable of this or that she was suffering through it...Honestly I'm not sure he can be blamed for "making" her drop out of school, and I'm also not sure how he "forced" her to snort illegal drugs. I'm also not sure why his wife or his sexual history is being alluded to in the case either, although both of those stories are pretty horrible as well. The sexual abuse claim is pretty horrendous tho. If she really did go to the emergency room then she should have had a rape kit administered so there should be undeniable proof that he attacked and abused her. If it's proven true, I hope his ass gets sent to jail for a long, long time.
  5. What, you think after people hear how bad her live singing is they'll just stop stanning? We can pray I guess... :cypher:
  6. So this finally aired in Australia, and I'm agreeing with you on this tbh. I feel like the pace of this episode was a little off and boring, but it might get better later in the season now that they've introduced all the characters properly. I also LOOOVED Jessica's cover of 'Life On Mars'! That song always makes me cry tbh and she did a decent (if Autotuned) job. I hope they do a different song to wrap up each episode tbh, that would be so cool. I'm not really here for 'Sad Girl' tho, that honestly sounds like such a random choice...But I'm looking forward to seeing what Kurt song they choose for her to sing! I hope she gets on a Gaga track as well, she would fit in perfectly!
  7. Those guys were never pushing for Iggy to have a mental breakdown tho... They legit just wanted to know what kind of eggs she was buying!
  8. He has a personality? But I don't find Chris Evans that hot either! The only male celebrity I'm really here for is Chris Hemsworth tbh.
  9. Are you confirming Iggy has mental issues?
  10. Taylor Swift has debuted the second offering, and first promo single, from upcoming album 1989. And it definitely doesn't disappoint! Much has been made of 'Out of the Woods' since a reference to it in this month's copy of Rolling Stone, where Taylor mentioned that the track was inspired by a snowmobile accident which left her and ex-boyfriend Harry Styles in the emergency room. Speaking of how she managed to avoid press commentary on her brief visit to hospital, Swift said: "You know what I've found works even better than an NDA? Looking someone in the eye and saying, 'Please don't tell anyone about this.'" Impressively, the story about the tracks inspiration turns out to be the least amazing thing about this song. Harshly autobiographical lyrics like "Your necklace hanging from my neck/The night we couldn’t quite forget/When we decided/To move the furniture so we could dance/Baby, like we stood a chance" in the verses contrast stunningly with the prayer-like incantation of "Are we out of the woods yet?/Are we in the clear yet?" recited by Taylor during choruses. The build-up in the verses is actually a little lacklustre, despite the amazing lyrics - but that just makes the ultimate breakthrough of the chorus shine a million times brighter. Produced by Jack Antonoff, the song continues the vintage theme of the 1989 album with some hazy, dream-like background vocals and strong percussion which is the trademark of Antonoff's band fun. The song marks not only a huge departure from Swift's past work in country (it's apparent with this release that the girl who sang 'Love Story' and 'Mine' is pretty much gone for good), but also a move away from the super fun, poppy vibe of 'Shake It Off'. While this leaves the sonic and thematic themes of Swift's upcoming album in crisis, one thing's for sure: it's with this upcoming album that Swift will make or break her transition to pop and prove just what she's capable of artistically. And we can't wait. Listen to 'Out of the Woods' below and let us know what you think in the comments section below! Pros: This song is amazing. The background vocals during the bridge sound like 'Hakuna Matata'. THAT'S AWESOME.Cons: It's a bit of a shame that Taylor's relied so much on a certain ex-boyfriend to publicize this song rather than letting the amazing product do the talking itself.
  11. Pop the champagne, prepare for an extra stamp on your stan card, and mark your calendars, for today is the day we witness the birth of a popstar in the making! Thirteen year old Nova Miller, touted by many as the next big thing in pop and Sweden's answer to Disney Channel teen idols such as Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez, has premiered the official lyric video for her first official buzz single 'Little Miss Perfect' online, and it's sure to impress. Aiming her guns at social media websites like Tumblr with lyrics such as "I'm not a beauty queen/Not on the hipster scene", and targeting big businesses with name drops like "Loreal says that I'm worth it/But I'll never be Little Miss Perfect", the song marks one of the strongest debuts we've seen in recent years. A catchy, summery pop beat, age-appropriate inspirational lyrics and the rather remarkable, distinctive vocals of Miller herself combine to create a song which, in the midst of aiming to become a 'Born This Way' for the younger generation, has morphed itself into a jam for the ages. And it doesn't stop there! Ahead of the release of her debut EP in the coming months, Nova's team have sent us over a few songs for us to review exclusively for #PopHatesFags readers. 'Supernova' continues the trend of self-empowerment songs from Miller, with lyrics like "Shine like a supernova/Like a shooting star bursting in the night" backed up by one of those catchy post-chorus breaks of "Like a supernova (ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)" we all enjoy. It's a little bit of Labrinth's 'Beneath Your Beautiful', a little bit of Ke$ha's 'Animal' and a whole lot of inspirational pop goodness. Meanwhile, 'Guitar Don't Lie', a more rock-based ballad appropriate to the title, is an ode to the power of music which features Nova cooing "The melodies/Come from these dreams/They make everything alright/Cos my guitar don't lie" over a Kelly Clarkson-esque production. It definitely allows Miller's pitch perfect vocals to shine through, which is why we can only imagine how amazing this will sound live. While we haven't heard all that many tracks from Nova yet, those we have listened to so far show a young girl with vocal mastery, an awe-inspiring ambition and a unique personality far beyond her years. We can't wait to see what's next for Nova Miller! Check out the lyric video for 'Little Miss Perfect' below and make sure you let us know what you think in the comments! Don't forget to check back in with #PopHatesFags over the next couple of weeks when we'll have our exclusive interview with Nova herself.
  12. Yeah, I'm not sure about that either tbh. A part of me wishes they'd done it on a murder case from like centuries ago so they could take a few more liberties with the story without people getting so angry over it. I'm looking forward to seeing it anyway! Could you imagine? They could have like a competition and whoever solves the case first gets to feature on the show. Omg, that would be awesome!
  13. Do they really want her to pay? How embarrassing...as if the NFL doesn't have enough money after the sued poor sis M.I.A.. :'(
  14. Same! Like bitch, no one cares if you write your own songs or not, but there's no reason to lie about it. Just keep it real, it's what people love you for.
  15. Right? And like, it's one thing to be a douche to someone who's on the red carpet looking for attention and who's perfectly okay mentally, but stalking someone who's clearly got serious issues and basically pushing for them to have a mental breakdown is just sick.
  16. Slay tha nudes! But yeah, I don't even know...I guess he has a good body but I don't really find that kind of physicality attractive...It's just kind of boring to me tbh. I mean I get it requires work and everything, but I just don't think it's anything original or interesting to look at.
  17. THAT ONE WAS MY FAVOURITE. When the dubstep started playing, lmfao.
  18. Fucking mess. But the worst was when she allegedly "co-wrote" every song off Unapologetic even though she doesn't have her name on any of the writing credits and Sia has not once mentioned how great it was to have Rihanna in the studio working with her.
  19. That video is fucking sick tbh. It's utterly disgusting that paparazzi would be attacking and provoking someone who's obviously so mentally fragile and in need of help. If anyone needs to be sent to an asylum, it's them.
  20. When was Nick Hogan called brave for having his nude photos leaked tho? I don't think most sane people care about her nudes leaking or call her a slut because of it, I think it's more just a vocal minority who like to talk shit who are for some reason seen as the norm on a heap of blogs who want clickbait. I agree! I understand why she's upset about it, as it's a huge invasion of her privacy and I would HATE to know that someone's been looking through every photo I've ever taken on my iPhone. :'( But she should just own it and not worry so much about such a small issue. And I'm here for some more male nudes. Omfg, I didn't even realise how many there were until I saw a huge gallery of them like today. The one of her on the treadmill...
