Why does a song need to be sent in prior to the release date tho? The track was already perfect and didn't need anything changed so I don't see why anyone would need it beforehand.

Strange premise for a film...so is the whole thing just going to be their meeting or what? I'm not sure how it's going to have any kind of narrative arc but we'll see how it goes. Sky also seems to be a weird choice to me, I can't really imagine how her look would have gone down in the 70s, but any exposure is good exposure I guess. This could be good for her tbh! I don't think she's gonna be making that much money off album sales, and TV clearly didn't work out for her, so touring's the way to go imo. She already has the fun, over the top diva attitude which would work well in Vegas, so all she has to work on now is keeping her voice in good condition so she can keep hitting those high notes! I hope she performs some songs other than her #1's tho, the elusive chanteuse era is so underrated.

While it was an offhanded (and perhaps a little insensitive) comment, did Naya Rivera Dorsey just come out? Naya is recently married to actor Ryan Dorsey, so ladies, no need to get in line. But if Naya is indeed opening up about being bisexual, having another young actress come out is a great step for bi visibility and acceptance. This world needs a hell of a lot more of that, and a lot less stigma for the bisexual members of the LGBTQ community. :'( Queen! Only Naya could come out in such a classy, subtle way.
