    The never-ending Sony hacking saga has continued today, with even more leaks from the studio’s internal emails being made public – and, this time, everyone’s favourite superhero creators Marvel are getting dragged into the mix. Sony and Marvel first cemented their partnership earlier this year, when the companies announced that they would work together to bring a new iteration of Spider-Man out swinging into the world. Now, a portion of the email that Sony sent to Marvel listing the requirements and restrictions placed on their best-known superhero has been revealed – and it turns out that Sony isn’t as progressive as we might like it to be. The leaks reveal two sets of ultimatums that Sony placed on Marvel. The first is that Spider-Man (who has been adopted by many alter-egos, such as Peter Parker and Miles Morales) must be male, harmless (not torturing or killing unless in defense), drugless (that’s checking alcohol off too), sexless (at least until the age of 16) and “not a homosexual“. When it comes to Peter Parker, he must be white, straight and middle class; have Aunt May and Uncle Ben fill in for his absent parents and be a master costume designer (but only when it comes to blue and red materials – no black, please). While it’s been confirmed that the upcoming Spider-Man costume will indeed be filled by Peter Parker, Marvel honcho Kevin Feige hasn’t ruled out allowing Morales (who is significant as the first half-African American, half-Hispanic Spider-Man out there) his own day in the sun a little further down the line. However, with the upcoming introduction of Parker into several of Marvel’s planned blockbuster films, it seems unlikely this will happen soon. What do you think? Should Sony make way for a more diverse Spiderman? Or should they focus instead on adapting already diverse superheroes, such as Black Panther, for the screen? Let us know below!

    Forward it to me after you're done! Have you read his book? I actually remember it being spoken about in art class but now I'm tempted to read it alongside Poe's album to really get into it. I have, twice, it's amazing! It's definitely a huge undertaking. I need to buy the hardback edition as my paperback is falling apart haha. It's a big book and you have to turn it upside down and sideways to read it so it takes a beating. I actually haven't listened to her album in full, and I know it's not necessarily connected, just their respective versions of the same thing. His latest book is fantastic as well. It's going to be a 28 volume series I'm excited. Twenty eight volumes? 27 actually, my bad It's supposed to be like a tv series. The first book was amazing. He has such a sublime way of writing. His books have to be read in physical format. I think he was able to do 50 Year Sword in digital well, but all his other books don't translate very good from comments i've read, due to his crazy formatting and what not. House of Leaves is definitely the best place to start. Scary as hell and crazy. Oooh, so does each book correlate to like one episode of the TV show? That wouldn't be too bad then I guess, as long as they can be read within a few hours and they're not all a million pages long. haha well the first book was 800 pages but they go pretty fast as some pages have literally 2 words. I think it may be different with each new book, but not sure. I kind of hope not since the first one ended so good, I want more of that story, but the excerpt for book 2 was awesome, so I'm sure whatever happens I will love it. He will release 2 books a year for the next 13 I believe so I am beside myself with joy Oh good lord, that's a lot of commitment you're putting in there. And they're talking about Chuck Grant, sister of Lizzy Grant, aka Lana Del Rey.

    I do know what you mean, but I feel it's less the fault of the YouTubers and more the fault of the fans and media. Like, it's totally Shane's prerogative to come out and we shouldn't be blaming him for that, I feel like we should be blaming MTV and all these other websites who are now proclaiming him as some national hero just for being bi. I never really cared that much for Lisa, but it's sad to see her so open and vulnerable like that. Total props to her for handling it with such honesty and class though, I have a newfound respect for her tbh. I'm surprised you didn't clock Shane as gay tho, I thought that the first time I saw him!
