I saw this too. If that thing about her mum slapping her is true (and I can't imagine her lying about it) it's really messed up. I always thought Lynne was the better parent but I guess Wendy was write when she said death to ALL of them. P.S. In response to our last posts on here, your English is perfect

Personally I could listen to Mutya singing the phone book, so I'm happy with hearing her back on Red Dress But I just don't think Siobhan can pull off those sexy sassy songs so well, in the same way as Heidi probably couldn't pull off Flatline

BTS On Hiatus Until 2025 For Military Duty
Main Pop Girl replied to Main Pop Girl's topic in Entertainment News
You're totally right. Mandatory conscription is horrible and sexist If it was anyone else who had to do it I would feel bad but at this point I'm just happy to get a break from them Stay tuned for the military reality show we'll get from them in 12 months time as well I'll be curious to see what stories we get of how they're being treated by the other soldiers. -

Yes, I was definitely thinking of Red Dress! Idk why I get so confused with all their song titles but this is like the fifth mistake I've made in this thread so sorry for always confusing you all I found a few videos up on YouTube now. Keisha and Mutya sound amazing although I don't think this version of the chorus is as good as the studio Mutya definitely sounds better in those videos than she did at the festival shows. I loooove her raspy tone too but it sounded like she was maybe dehydrated or smoking or something for those festivals because her voice was barely there in some of those songs. As long as she's taking good care of that beautiful voice I'm happy I hope they're able to bring back that extra ad-lib ("there oughta beee a waaaayeaayeaaaveee) she used to do in Flatline too! Do people not like that song? I think the MNEK remix is even high up on their Spotify playlist so I kind of assumed they would be performing it on this tour 🤔

Idk why I always paid this song dust until recently A Cheryl co-write and a platform for her, Nicola and Kim to shine, plus the production is super fun

I love me some Sugababes buuuut I have to say the SFA version of Flowers is god-tier That groovy 90s euphoria is so fun to listen to and just can't be beat by any of the covers imo. Idk how I missed this old performance of Freak Like Me! I have to say I prefer Heidi's voice on this one though...Imo Siobhan does great on the more serious songs but she can't sell sex appeal in the way Heidi can. On a side note, Mutya's voice still sounded amazing back then, but it's sounding a little worn down in their recent performances I hope she can bring it back because she had probably my favourite voice in pop

That intro act is iconic Hit after hit! I can live without some of the other songs (I'm so sick of hearing Flowers) and I still don't get why they're not including at least Run for Cover and Soul Sound, both of which I think charted higher than Flatline Still, I'm glad Siobhan's comfortable now singing all the hits. I'm intrigued to hear her version of Freak Like Me!

Well, they only ever sang Keisha's solo and the chorus of About You Now together. Maybe Siobhan is referring to singing Heidi's part in the bridge. Still, I would be very happy with Hole in the Head, but I feel like Keisha doesn't like that song too much

Iconic Miley needs to release a Hannah Montana collab with Dollskill or something because I would totally wear her merch

Nicola always looks great! It's just the pose that's awkward. They caught her at an unflattering moment
-
Awkward photo of Nicola But they all look gorgeous. I think Sarah would be happy to see them all together again

Nice! Seems promising that we'll get some more stuff coming up for the album anniversary. Open up the vaults girls

Let's agree to disagree. Hope you have a good day too!

Very true. Plus, Geri and Vic probably had the least vocals out of all the girls, whereas I would guess Sarah is just behind Nadine as the singer with the most lines in GA (or maybe tied with Cheryl?) I'd be really here for that actually! I know they have a heap of unreleased songs lying around, and Xenomania has always been great at splicing together different tracks to make a masterpiece. I'd love to hear something new from them! Sarah definitely had an amazing energy on stage and always brought that rock edge to their live vocals. I will say Cheryl is pretty good at hyping up a crowd too and given that Nicola has (imo) the best voice and very few lines, they could easily divvy Sarah's parts out between her and Kimberly. Still, songs like Sexy No No No wouldn't be the same without Sarah's energy up there

Like the Sugababes, Girls Aloud aren't really an active band anymore in that they're not releasing music, but they're still working together on new projects. They recently announced a new sleepwear range with Primark with all proceeds going towards breast cancer charities to honour their late bandmate Sarah Harding. They also have a charity concert coming up, but that guy from Years and Years will be performing instead of them I'm sure their intentions are very pure, but I can't help but feel like a part of this is testing the waters to see if people care about them as a four piece. I don't know what their sound would be in 2022 and Xenomania is MIA from the pop scene so Idk what they would do together as a group. What do you guys think?

It's hard to say isn't it? I also read something a few weeks ago that said that most Russian people were in support of Putin, but I think it will be a different situation if and when those same people or the people they love are actually sent into war. I know there's a lot of people in the Russian government who are pissed off with Putin for all the sanctions as well, so maybe they'll apply some pressure and keep him in line. China is a whole other thing to worry about. The fact that China, Russia and even India (with the biggest population on earth!) and all those other random African countries are in cahoots is pretty scary. It's sad that these leaders still haven't figured out that war won't solve anything and the pros are never worth the cons.

I hope so too! If you're interested, there was a Twitter that was working on getting a lot of big songs from the early 2000s on Spotify. I think this was them:

I think we're really coming to a breaking point when it comes to Russia right now. Ukraine is undoubtedly winning the war, and instead of backing down Putin has decided to double down by sending millions of men into war who have no interest, and many of whom are fleeing Russia for their own lives. Either people will decide that enough is enough and figure out a way to get rid of Putin (god only knows how) or this really will devolve into World War 3. I really hope it's the former and Russia is able to finally join the rest of the world in the 21st century where democracy is a respected concept and human life is valued

Bebe Rexha & David Guetta hit n°1 in several countries

Right? And also, how many members of the general public are crawling through Discord servers or music forums to listen to demos of unreleased songs? Even if 1% of an artist's fans heard the song, that's still 99% of people for who it's completely original and fresh -
