  1. Y'all know the rules so I'm not gonna explain them in depth. Simply state which of the following three people you would kill, which one you would fuck, and which one you would marry. And don't forget to list three more names for the next poster! Kill, Fuck, Marry: Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry
  2. Phyllis Smith was snubbed.
  3. I never said it couldn't be good. I'll wait for your reading comprehension skills to progress past that of a fifth graders before responding to one of your posts again.
  4. I honestly haven't heard of Mr. Robot so I have no idea why that's winning half of these awards, or why The Martian is nominated as a musical or comedy. I'm super proud of Gaga for winning her first Golden Globe tho, even though I'm not necessarily sure she deserved it out of all the amazing female actors that have been on TV lately. But congrats to her and all the winners!
  5. Mine too. I was at work when I heard and I was pretty much in shock for the next four hours of my shift. But I'm so proud of him that he still managed to work on his music right up until the very end and never slowed down.
  6. In the saddest bout of pop culture news we've had in a while, it has been confirmed today that legendary glam rock singer David Bowie has passed away at age 69. In a statement posted on Bowie's official Twitter acount, his publicity team simply stated: Bowie kept news of his illness largely under wraps, with most major news outlets failing to report on the news, and instead allowing him to continue the lack of media presence he had cultivated in the past decade. Indeed, the most news we've heard about the reclusive rockstar recently was related to his twenty fifth studio album, Blackstar, which was released just three days ago on January 8th, his birthday. With song titles like 'Lazarus' populating the project, it's likely the album will be reconsidered by critics once again with news of his death. Born David Jones in 1947, Bowie changed his name to distance himself from The Monkees Davy Jones after he achieved popularity. As a young man, he played saxophone and started a mime company for a living while singing in a string of bands on the weekends; and after signing with Mercury Records, he released his debut album Man of Words, Man of Music, in 1969. Bowie rose to popularity in 1972 with his album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, which introduced his androgynous alien alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust. Three years later, he achieved his first American crossover hit with #1 single 'Fame' off the album Young Americans. In what he later considered a publicity stuny, Bowie revealed in a 1972 interview that he was gay, and, later claimed he was bisexual, later confirming an affair with The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger. He later introduced a "plastic soul" sound with 'Fame' in 1975, tributed A Clockwork Orange with 'Suffragette City' in 1976 and tore up the dancefloors in 1983 with 'Let's Dance', a #1 hit in America. After forming a short-lived band in 1989 with his brother Tony called Tin Machine, Bowie returned to a solo career in 1993 with 'Jump They Say', a song about his schizophrenic half-brother who had recently commited suicide. He worked consistently until 2004, when he went on an extended hiatus before returning with his highest-charting album ever, The Next Day, in 2013. Despite heavy demand for a tour, Bowie has kept a low profile, last performing on stage in 2006 when he earned a lifetime achievement Grammy Award. Outside of music, Bowie was also well known for his eccentric fashions, which frequently alternated between flamboyant space cowboy and all-American boy next door depending on the day. He was also an accomplished actor, with starring roles in films such as The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) in which he played an alien; Just A Gigolo (1978), starring alongside Marlene Dietrich in her final film role; Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (1983), in which he played a World War II prisoner of war; and Labyrinth (1966), a cult classic. Our thoughts go out to all of Bowie's family and friends, and to all of his fans touched by this unexpected tragedy.
  7. Happy birthday to the one and only @Dayfid! Even though bitch never checks this site and probably won't see this until next year, I wish him the happiest of birthdays today and hope that his day is as amazing as he is! I'm so proud of how far you've come in the last few years baby and I hope that 2016 just brings even more amazing opportunities and joy your way. Love, Your PHFamily
  8. I hope you go to a psychologist soon to sort out your fear of commitment. :morning:

sorry for the late reply, but covers & original music is being worked on and will be published soon :D

  9. But look at the range in those Ivy songs you mentioned! You went from mainstream dance to R&B to pop to power ballad all in one line. Meanwhile, all of Melanie's songs sound like they've been made with the same synth package and there's literally no diversity in the whole thing.
  10. I still jam to the last EP tbh. @Kevinn Edu, are you gonna organise again?
  11. This album will go the same way as the Twelve Days of Christmas event. #BringBackEarthlyAlientilda
  12. I kind of agree tbh, I think Miley is way too turnt to be with any guy for more than a few months at this point. But I like them as a couple so I wish them the best!
  13. Omfg, how can you hate this song? The amount of times I've sat in my room crying to Cyndi's acoustic version... The first part I read on Tumblr back when the re-release was first announced. The cancellation was confirmed by Marina in a Hungarian magazine interview.
  14. I'm cautiously optimistic about this...The visuals so far are pretty gorgeous but I'm seriously scared we're going to be getting another Volantis. I feel like it may just relate to her fashion as well tho, cos recently Intel debuted this 3D printed dress and i can totally see Gaga wearing something like this on the red carpet. Either way I'm sad we won't be getting any new music tho.
  15. The online meltdwowns over Jaden wearing a skirt tho... Imo he looks amazing and I'm just pissed off they asked him and not me. The Lightning ads i think are a pretty cute concept but I feel like the execution is kind of awkward af.
  16. Honestly, even though I just want guns to be banned completely in the US and I'm not sure how much good these changes will do, I think they're a step in the right direction and I definitely see the potential for them to be built upon!
  17. Your right, she really has no excuse for I Am's failure.
  18. At least someone on this forum has good taste, minus the Melanie comment.
  19. Fans of British indie-pop star Marina & The Diamonds are in for a real New Years treat today. After months of teasing, Marina's cover of Cyndi Lauper's classic gay rights anthem 'True Colors' has finally leaked online! 'True Colors' is a relatively recent song that was written during the FROOT sessions back in 2014. Originally, the song was first intended to be used in conjunction with a piece Marina wrote for World Aids Day back in December of that year, and plans were made to include it in a video interview she was conducting on the day. Allegedly, however, Marina's team was unable to gain clearance quickly enough for the song to be released and the track was moved to the back burner. Later, it was considered to be placed on a re-release of the FROOT album, alongside tracks like 'Disconnect', which featured Clean Bandit and was performed live at Coachella; and 'I'm Not Hungry Anymore', which leaked in snippet form earlier this year. However, Marina later decided to scrap the FROOT re-release in August of last year, once again leaving the song homeless. For those who have been living under a rock for the past thirty years, 'True Colors' is a track sung and produced by Cyndi Lauper and first released on the 1986 album of the same name. Written by icon Billy Steinberg about his elderly mother, the track was later dedicated to Lauper's best friend who had died from AIDS, and thus became an anthem for the gay community who was struggling with the disease at the time. What do you think of Marina's cover of 'True Colors'? Is the original always the best or has she done Cyndi justice? Let us know in the comments down below! 20. Hi, welcome to #PopHatesFlops! What's your name?
  21. Yeah, but there's a full solo Rihanna version going around which we'll never be able to hear.
  22. In another entry into "news that won't shock anyone", controversial R&B singer Chris Brown has been listed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as a suspect in an assault and theft case that occured Saturday morning at the Palms Casino. The incident allegedly began at 10:20 on Saturday morning, when police were called to respond to a report of battery that occured inside a Palms Casino hotel room. When police arrived to investigate, they found a female victim with minor injuries. Police confirmed that the victim was attending a party inside a hotel room at the Palms when an altercation took place over a cell phone. According to the victim, she was attempting to use her phone to take a photograph of Brown when he took it from her and assaulted her. The victim was then escorted from the room by private security, before being ejected from the property by hotel security. When she returned to the hotel, she reported the incident to security, who later attempted to contact Brown but were unable to enter the room and later found that Brown had already left the hotel. Through a representative, Brown said that the "[victim's] statements are unequivocally untrue" and that the victim was removed from the party due to her "disruptive and out of control" behaviour. "Her claim that she had her phone in her possession inside the after party and was able to take a photo causing an altercation with Chris Brown is a complete fabrication," said the representative, seemingly implying that mobile phones were not allowed in the afterparty at all. "This seems like a clear case of retaliation for her bruised ego." Brown is in Las Vegas for the New Year's weekend and performed Jan. 1 at Drai's Beach and Nightclub. If proven to be true, this assault will be the latest in a long line of crimes, some of which include throwing a chair through a window, starting a bottle throwing competition with Drake, and, you know, beating up Rihanna. What do you think of the latest allegations against Breezy? Should we trust what he has to say on the matter, or does his history dictate how you feel about the situation? Let us know in the comments below!
  23. Ever since Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met on the set of dramatic romance film The Last Song in 2009, back when she still had long brown hair and he had enough money to buy a razor, their love at first sight relationship set teenage hearts ablaze all across the world as they followed in Brangelina's footsteps to become Hollywood's new young power couple. But their relationshp was cut short when, despite a proposal in 2012, the pair decided to go their seperate ways in late 2013. But if new reports are to be believed, the two may be making a comeback after they were spotted together on one of the biggest nights of the year, New Years Eve. Photographs were taken of the two at the Australian Falls Music Festival in Hemsworth's hometown of Sydney, along with Chris and Luke Hemsworth and their respective wives. According to sources, the two were seen "cuddling and kissing" and Liam was spotted rubbing his beau's back in a VIP area as they watched the show. Security surrounded the couple to ensure people did not photograph them, but a few sneaky Instagram snaps did manage to be taken. Cyrus and Hemsworth made their last public appearance in August, 2013, when she turned up to support him on the Paranoia red carpet, just weeks after taking her ring off to be "cleaned". Since then, neither have been saving themselves for marriage, with Hemsworth rebounding with Spanish singer and actress Eiza González and Cyrus (who last year came out as pansexual) seen with the likes of Patrick Schwarznegger and Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell. This isn't the first time the two have been seen continuing their relationship. Last year, Hemsworth stated that he would always be "best friends" with his ex, and Cyrus later got an Instagram shoutout for helping him adopt a dog. If the two really are back together, it could mark a return to innocence for Cyrus, who recently debuted a more mature, classic hairstyle. What do you think of the couple? Do you stan Liley or should the two break it off for good? Let us know in the comments below!
