You pretty much just summed up my exact thoughts in 1000 words or less The only difference is I wasn't huuuuge about the self-titled album, although I liked Ghost, Haunted, Heaven and XO. Pretty Hurts, Flawless, Drunk In Love and most of the rest were pretty annoying to me And all the artsy interludes of people taking off into space or whatever the hell it was were stupid af Although the Super Bowl show was great! But I'm totally with you on The Lion King, The Carters and the Beyhive Her acting in The Lion King also didn't do much to recommend her to me. I wish she'd just go back to making great pop/R&B music instead of trying to make everything she does a huge political statement or Louvre-worthy art piece. It looks like this new album may be dance/disco-inspired though so maybe I'll get what I want

I think that's what they're going for too, but it just seems like they've changed her character so quickly and so out of nowhere that it doesn't feel like a natural progression. But I hope she finds happiness with the trumpet girl and calms down a bit so I can enjoy her character again The only other song I've heard from Kate is that Wuthering Heights song which is basically just a 12 year old Tumblr girl's fan fiction with a beat behind it I haven't heard any of her other stuff because that kind of put me off listening to it. But 'Running up That Hill' is such a classic that it honestly wouldn't matter if she never wrote anything again other than that

I loooved Robin last season but something about her this season is really annoying to me Maybe it's just because they've paired her up with Nancy for so much of it and I find their relationship really annoying. But I also feel they've changed her personality to become like a quirky pick me girl from VSCO I don't remember her being this talkative or annoying last season!

I really hope so! If they can revolutionise Zelda with Breath of the Wild I don't see why they can't do the same with Pokemon I just feel like given the Switch is pretty much a home console they reaaaally need to step up a lot of the graphics and world building. Plus the plots have somehow gotten worse over the years...At least originally they had interesting little side quests like Pokemon Tower but Sword and Shield was so kiddy and cheesy I think they need to realise that they have a lot of older fans who are playing for nostalgia reasons and cater to them a bit more

I definitely thought that when I was watching that Lucille Ball movie with Nicole Kidman that just came out recently She played the role well but she didn't look or act anything like the real Lucy. But I thought Rami Malek, Taron Egerton and Renee Zelwegger all did a good job with their characters so I think as long as they find the right person it can work!

I completely agree with you on Madonna directing! I think she's just too close to the source material to give it a fair go...It's going to be Mariah Carey's autobiography all over again where she always comes out the hero in every situation and it's everyone else who's the horrible person I think someone less biased would have done a better job of capturing the real Madonna, but I guess we'll see what happens. As for the way Julia looks, I actually think she's pretty close but I can see what you mean in terms of getting someone who looks more like young Madonna/current Lourdes. But I also wouldn't say Rami Malek looks like Freddie Mercury and they did a pretty good job with that so I'm not too worried about the way she looks. I just hope she gets the persona right!

I've heard Arceus was really good but I haven't played it yet! Honestly after the flop that was Let's Go and the medicority that was Sword and Shield I kind of didn't wanna give them any more of my money. But if this has the same mechanics as Arceus it sounds promising. And the co-op does look really fun!

Idk if you guys have been following the Madonna biopic that's in production, but Madonna herself has co-written the script and is set to direct the upcoming movie about her life! Now Julia Garner (Ozark, Inventing Anna) has apparently been cast as the lead. I liked her a lot in Ozark although I thought Inventing Anna was way overhyped. I do think she would do a good job as Madge, but I'm a little worried if Madonna herself is the director given how messy she's been acting lately... What do you guys think?
