  1. I actually think it sounds really good, but I agree with @Tweener that the "How many times you made me cry?" part is too repetitive. But I can definitely imagine someone like Lana or Leighton slaying this song!
  2. Oh no! Poor Jerry...I was sad to read this. I never followed his later career too much but his work with Dean Martin was iconic and unforgettable. Sending my love to his family today.
  3. Tbh, I've given it up for a few months before but that's mostly just because I'm too lazy to get out of bed more than anything else. But if that makes you happy then I hope you keep it up!
  4. It's sweet and seems genuine, but we all know she didn't write it herself like Britney did.
  5. Miley Cyrus - Younger Now vs. Kesha - Praying
  6. My reaction after reading the first paragraph: I'm seriously so sorry to hear that babe...That sounds absolutely horrible. No one should have to go through that and it's horrible that it might have ruined the way you think about sex. But I'm so proud of you for going to therapy and for overcoming the bullshit that life threw at you. Keep up the amazing work my darling! My reaction after reading the edit: WHAT!? I totally get what you're talking about when you discuss a sex addiction. Sex really does release endorphins and it can lead to so much self-confidence so I get why you'd say that. But selling yourself for drugs? PAYING TO HAVE SEX JUST SO YOU CAN GET HIV? Oh girl... You are really next level! It sounds like you've had some super self-destructive behaviour. I'm so glad you're over it.
  7. Tbh, I didn't like Kingsman that much but it definitely recaptured that era of the fun old James Bond spy capers. I thought The Night Manager also did a pretty good job at that although it was still maybe a little too serious. I agree with you, I really hope they take it in that direction for this one!
  8. Maybe P!nk can up the anti by doing the whole thing without a harness and actually just jumping to her death on live television!
  9. I'm leaving it here as a lasting testament to your DISGASTING stanning of this creature.
  10. ICONIC! She better drag the media for filth with that opening monologue tho! As a Gaga fan, I am triggered. Why don't you bring up Britney's knee instead?!
  11. Stop whatever you're doing, because we have some breaking news that requires your immediate attention! Britney Spears is back at it again performing another sold-out Piece of Me show in Las Vegas after a brief worldwide tour that covered Asia and parts of the Middle East recently. But it seems as though Britney's international sojourns have inspired her to make some changes to the show's setlist. Because in the middle of the show tonight, Britney took a break from the usual to throw out a cover of Bonnie Raitt's top #5 1991 single 'Something To Talk About'. And most spectacularly, the song was performed completely live! That's right: just months after clapping back at her lip syncing accusations in an interview, Britney is making good on her word by ditching the backing track and stunning us with some live vocals. Before you get too excited, this is still Britney Spears we're talking about, so there's a degree of nasalness (is that a word?) and pitchiness to deal with. But Britney's vocals are a lot better than we expected, and her tone is actually better than a lot of other singers around today. This isn't the first time Britney's broken out in song while she takes on some covers. During her Circus tour back in 2009, Britney performed live covers of Alanis Morissette's 'You Oughta Know' and Duffy's 'I'm Scared'. And she's occasionally sung 'Happy Birthday' to some of her backup dancers on stage, if you think that counts. We're still waiting on a video of the full performance (keep in mind this did literally happen half an hour ago), but until we get that you can enjoy this short snippet of Britney singing her little heart out. What do you think of the cover? Does Britney have the makings of a country music superstar? Who would you like her to take on next? Let us know in the comments down below!
  12. Idk who wrote that album about Gaga and Harry, but I literally called Gaga out for being disingenuous with her sound so I don't find this biased towards Gaga at all... But tbh Imma need you to relisten to Joanne if you don't think it's country, songs like 'A-Yo', 'Joanne' and 'Million Reasons' are straight up country songs.
  13. Don't get angry at me, I'm not even the gayest person on this forum! Ask @Baby V Alex if you want info on the gay icons of the world!
  14. I don't know why all these pop girls think they have the business savvy or the intrigue to start their own record labels... Jay-Z hasn't even done it successfully and he has a lot more experience than people like JoJo or Charli so Idk why they think they can pull it off.
  15. A twink masquerading as an otter... I'm not mad tho, Selena better get that Belieber promo!
  16. Not a fan of her anything I've heard from her new album so far so I can't say I'd go see her live. But this is exciting times for her fans, it's been years since she's released anything!
  17. I'm hopeful but not getting myself excited for it yet... I still remember when she confirmed she'd be making another album around the time of the OWN series but that never came to fruition either. I'll keep my fingers crossed tho!
  18. Idk, there's something kinda manufactured about Warrior for me...It's kinda like Femme Fatale: none of the songs are actually bad but both albums are just lacking the little touches and personality I love from both of those girls. I'm ready for Rita's country revival tho, honestly that girl can sing anything and still flop so I wouldn't be surprised if she tried her hand with it! Interesting... I didn't know that much about Sam, but a quick look at his songs does seem to suggest they're more R&B like @itskelan said. It's probably part of the same trend tho, but I wouldn't say that these girls jumped on his coattails in any way because their music is much more straightforward and pretty different from his. There is nothing pop about 'Daddy Lessons' or anything else on that album...
  19. I think that's really the best way to look at it...If we could set up a GoFundMe for Kesha and just illegally download the album and send her the money that way I think it would be ideal but I can't see her label going for that somehow. She seems to be doing really well so far and the public seems to be receiving her a lot better than I thought they would! Hopefully she can continue this upwards trajectory. Now that we think about it, does anyone know who the The Dap-Kings Horns actually are? Are we sure it isn't just Dr. Luke playing a trumpet? That's what I'm confused about as well...It really is just like he's given up on any hope of saving his public image at all. I think he's just gonna take all the money he can and run.
  20. I'm surprisingly really enjoying Brandi in the house, I thought she would be here to stir shit but so far for the most part she's been pretty tame and likeable. I still have my bets on Sandi to win though, I think the British public will just be eating her up! Hoping you saw the video she made a few hours later called "FUCK CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER"...
  21. I'm kind of ashamed to say that the only Cher album I've listened to in full is her latest one, Closer To The Truth... It's a decent album but there's a lot of filler and not enough dance tracks tbh. I still love the girl tho!
  22. I just had a revelation that P!nk needs to headline the next halftime show.
  23. I completely agree with you! I would like them more if they were unconnected from the James Bond franchise. At this point they should just rebrand Kingsman as the new James Bond and be done with it.
  24. The code for this one has to be :wendell:...
  25. I bet they regretted that decision as soon as they heard 'Activated'.
