But tbh Imma need you to relisten to Joanne if you don't think it's country, songs like 'A-Yo', 'Joanne' and 'Million Reasons' are straight up country songs.

Not a fan of her anything I've heard from her new album so far so I can't say I'd go see her live. But this is exciting times for her fans, it's been years since she's released anything!

Idk, there's something kinda manufactured about Warrior for me...It's kinda like Femme Fatale: none of the songs are actually bad but both albums are just lacking the little touches and personality I love from both of those girls. I'm ready for Rita's country revival tho, honestly that girl can sing anything and still flop so I wouldn't be surprised if she tried her hand with it! Interesting... I didn't know that much about Sam, but a quick look at his songs does seem to suggest they're more R&B like @itskelan said. It's probably part of the same trend tho, but I wouldn't say that these girls jumped on his coattails in any way because their music is much more straightforward and pretty different from his. There is nothing pop about 'Daddy Lessons' or anything else on that album...

I think that's really the best way to look at it...If we could set up a GoFundMe for Kesha and just illegally download the album and send her the money that way I think it would be ideal but I can't see her label going for that somehow. She seems to be doing really well so far and the public seems to be receiving her a lot better than I thought they would! Hopefully she can continue this upwards trajectory. Now that we think about it, does anyone know who the The Dap-Kings Horns actually are? Are we sure it isn't just Dr. Luke playing a trumpet? That's what I'm confused about as well...It really is just like he's given up on any hope of saving his public image at all. I think he's just gonna take all the money he can and run.

I'm surprisingly really enjoying Brandi in the house, I thought she would be here to stir shit but so far for the most part she's been pretty tame and likeable. I'm kind of ashamed to say that the only Cher album I've listened to in full is her latest one, Closer To The Truth... It's a decent album but there's a lot of filler and not enough dance tracks tbh. I still love the girl tho!

I don't get it...Why are they still asking him to play this role when he's publicly said he'd rather slit his wrists than star in another James Bond film? Why not give the role to someone who actually wants it and who'll try and put in some effort? Maybe then they could take the money they were gonna give Craig and put it towards a better script because the last film was boring af. Honestly I'm sick of the hyper-masculine brutalised James Bond, I want the cheesy and charming James Bond from last century back. Give us Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hiddleston instead please.

Shouldn't there be a difference between "black" and "African American"? This girl's skin colour is clearly not black but she still has black heritage or identifies with that culture strongly...So what's the difference between her and Rachel Dolezal who was mocked on social media for doing the same thing she did? Also, this whole paragraph is disgusting to read: Nothing about black culture is yours because culture doesn't belong to anyone...That's why it's culture, because it's out in the world for other people to enjoy, interpret and utilise however they want. There's nothing remotely "black-looking" about her hair. The fact that she simplifies race to just liking a certain musician is ridiculous and stereotypical.

I was ready to drag her for filth but I'm gonna give her a pass after I saw the DM she sent to PopCrave. It sounds like she was trying to be diplomatic with a friend of the family who she's known since she was 12 and even if that's not the best thing to do with someone who may be the future president it seems she's cut all ties now which is all we can expect from her really. At the end of the day no one loves Paris for her brains so I don't blame her and I respect that she's seen the error of her ways and changed her opinion on the subject.

Omfg, great job finding all this info! 'Rainbow' sounds like a real bop, and even if it is a little similiar to her usual sound I'm not mad because she probably needs to tone it down for a kids movie. I can't wait for the full, it looks like we have a single release to look forward to! Are we really up to her eighth album already? I always forget she has such a prolific career before 'Chandelier', she still seems like a relatively new artist to me!

Has Sam Hunt been making waves? I'm genuinely asking, I don't really pay attention to the radio and I'm outside of the US where he may be big so I have no idea what's going on with that. You could be right tho! I do still stand by Joanne being somewhat insincere, but I actually started listening to the album again while writing this article and I like it more than even now. There's really not a bad song on the album but there's some amazing gems on there like 'Come To Mama' and 'Angel Down', I actually think I like it more than TFM now! An underrated masterpiece tbh. I agree with you on Kesha, with Warrior it really felt like she was holding back a little but Rainbow sounds totally her. We'll see if any other artist explores it I guess...I feel like those flops like Rita and Dua have no identity yet so they could easily make some kind of leap to a country fusion sound.
