While her latest booking may have taken place today, Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to the lens of a dirty, grimy, mughsot camera. In fact, with five mugshots taken over the past six years (and no doubt a few more to come in the future), she almost has an entire coffee table book's worth. The original and still one of the best. Lindsay had this photo taken after being arrested for drunk driving and cocaine possession  just before her eventual release on $25 000 bail. The starlet channels her inner Lolita in this photo, with wide blue eyes and innocent parted lips that will no doubt come in handy when her female inmate  Razor takes a liking to her.

Li-Lo received 90 days behind bars in 2010 after finally being convicted of her drug and alcohol charges from way back in 2007. One of the things we love about this picture is how she manages to convey so many feelings in only one expression: we sense worry, anger, sarcasm, sluttiness and just a tiny hint of "Really bitch? Really?".

This is where things started to really go wrong. HD photography can be a bitch, and Lindsay found it out in 2011 after being arrested for probation violations. Luckily, Lindsay herself was only the bitch for a short while before being released on $100 000 bail.

Praise Godga! Lindsay bounces back from her Dark Ages here with a comeback of magnificent proportions. She may be headed to jail, but bitch is gonna do it with style. The hair is sleek and sophisticated; the skin is clear and perfectly contoured; and the smirk has been completely perfected. Luckily, Lindsay won't last long behind bars: she turned herself in and was arrested only as a formality after being charged for giving false information to a police officer and reckless driving back in 2012.

Considering how long her legal woes seem to have been going on for, it seems strange that Lindsay has only actually been arrested twice. It also seems strange that the girl hasn't managed to figure out that she should hire a chauffeur and just quit driving full stop.
