He was against trans women participating in Miss America for years then when one finally made it, he mocked her name and transition  

When discussing the lgbt community he said " I am a traditionalist" - when is republican for "I won't kill a gay person if they can make me money, but I in no way support their rights"

"I bet you make a great wife.  But just a great wife.  Not a businesswoman and a wife — that doesn’t exist, obviously."

"“It must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees.”

When discussing trans bathroom rights “I believe it should be states’ rights and I think the states should make the decision, they’re more capable of making the decision"

Supports the FADA, which would allow government workers to deny marriage licenses if it's against their religion

Doesn't support same sex marriage/domestic partnership benefits if they're lgbt.

He said we would appoint judges to reverse the marriage equality ruling

"I'm not in favor of gay marriage. They should not be able to marry."

"I just don't feel good about it. I don't feel right about it. I'm against it. I'm opposed to gay marriage."

He misgendered Caitlyn.

He said America is going to hell because of a NFL player kissing his boyfriend.

“There can be no discrimination against gays (literally 2 seconds later) I’m against gay marriage.”

Let's not forget his sexist attacks on Rose O'Donnell

When discussing rape within the military "What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?"

Agreed with everything you've said about Trump, but Caitlyn's comments about marriage equality and physical appearance have been completely taken out of context.  When it came to marriage equality, she said that she didn't used to believe in gay marriage, but that her opinions have changed. And whatever she said about a woman's priority being their physicality was clearly a joke.

I don't see how "I'm a traditionalist. I'm older than most people in the audience. I kind of like tradition, and it's always been a man and a woman" or  “I think it’s much easier for a trans woman or a trans man who authentically kind of looks and plays the role. So what I call my presentation. I try to take that seriously. I think it puts people at ease. If you’re out there and, to be honest with you, if you look like a man in a dress, it makes people uncomfortable” can be taken out of context.  

I know she's said she's changed her stance on marriage, but idk, so much about her support for the lgbq community seems fake in a way? I hope it's sincere, I truly do, but I can't trust the authenticity of her support if she truly believes Trump and Cruz would be great for the lgbt+ community. To me, it just shows a lot of her ignorance towards the real world.  And the 'man in a dress' comment really didn't seem like a joke tbh. It was a huge slap in the face to people who aren't cis-passing. With her being a 'traditionalist' I think she was stating a very real feeling people have towards trans/non-binary people.

She said on Ellen that her stance on gay marriage had changed, and personally I'm willing to believe it given how much more time she's spent around the LGBT community. She's literally gone from being an icon of masculinity who probably didn't have a single gay friend like twenty years ago to being surrounded by trans people for most of her life (at least if her reality show is to be believed) so I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say that her opinion would have changed because of that.

But in regards to the one you quoted, I honestly don't see how what she said was wrong? I don't think she was saying that what she's expressing is right or moral, I think she's just saying that it's a fact of life that trans people who are passable are gonna have a much easier time in society. For someone like her who's trying to ease more conservative people into accepting that community, I can see why it would be more important for her than for other people who are already in pretty liberal areas.

I get that and I do hope her support is sincere. The other day I saw a comment about how the transgender movement is about fitting a role in the society and that's why they don't get a long with some other movements that oppose the gender normative of that society, like feminism or drag queens for the matter. And I think that has ton of sense, while this doesn't apply to all the trangender people it does apply to some, like Caitlyn and the ones that hate drag queens.

I guess in a sense she is. But I think she's just looking at it practically instead of idealizing the situation. Obviously it would be great if we lived in a society where everyone was accepted regardless of their gender identity but I think we're still making baby steps.  I agree she's ignorant when it comes to politics tho, but I think that she has more of a right to ignorance than others given her age.

I actually agree with that as well. People can do whatever they want with their lives, but it's annoying when people say they're transitioning because they "feel like a woman" or something when everything that feminism has been doing for the past few decades is telling women that there's no way they should be feeling.

I know!! It hurts me that some transgenders don't see how drag queens are the epitome of not giving a fuck about social norms and they bring down all the fights the feminist movement did to give them freedom, it's so sad.

I don't know much about Genesis, but that Laura Jane flop is a negative mess and I'm not here for her bashing any transgender person more famous than her just to further her own career.

Fair enough.  I have a lot of respect for the Kardashians! They've taken ridiculous situations and made fame and finances out of them and there's no way I can dislike them for that.
